Oh hey, I got a few daily jerseys, neat.

Looking at the monthly rating, I know I'm far down, but I think it's insane I'm even in on that scoreboard at all given I've been back on the site a few days lol

Enjoyable but doesn't really stand out to me either. 7/10

Here's a classic I'm sure most of heard. From turnabout Jazz soul, featuring Jazz versions of memorable songs of the Phoenix Wright series. Probably the most famous from the album.

Well I just finished a re-read of American Gods, this time an extended version. Not sure why I am going to next to be entirely honest though. I recently went through Enders Game again so I might do a continuation of those books. I have Speaker for the Dead around here I am sure...

Edit, not sure how this double posted but if someone can tell me how to delete a post if it's possible please do

[post]"maybe unless it's a game with exploitative monetization or whatever, if it's something that could be a problem for vulnerable people or children, that could be another story, however, that's a topic and conversation for another day"[/post]

Glad you said that because I would have had you not lol.

But yeah, I pretty much agree with you. Attacking others for enjoying aspects you do not is pointless, unproductive, and I'd go so far as to say Toxic.

That said, speaking out against elements you do not like is entirely valid and it shows a distaste for that element, and if enough speak out, possibly a change of those elements in future games.

As for loot boxes and things of that nature, no attacking people who enjoy those types of games still is not the option, but that's a deeper problem. That's created a trend of many video games being made for a smaller number of people who's psychology or obscene access to money (usually someone else's) causes them to spend incredibly high amounts of money for...nothing. It feels like it's taking advantage of some people while also hurting the quality of said games for others...and the fact that the majority doesn't like this is irrelevant because the minority is shelling out the bucks. This model doesn't bode well for gaming as a whole as this has become a low effort method of making money, and while it's perfectly understandable for companies to go with what makes money, it's also perfectly understandable for many gamers to protest what can viewed as very shady business practices, and to be upset at the concept as a whole.

Attacking those who play those games and spend that money, not fair. Encouraging them to consider their habits and if they truly make them happy should be the method there. More effective for one, and attacking people generally isn't a good move regardless.

As for sexualization in games (your main point lol) I have no specific issue with it. I am perplexed why adults enjoy games who's only real draw is sexualized characters when pornography exist and is free, but to each their own I guess...

Most of the ones I've played wrapped up pretty nicely, but I would love to see another iteration taking place after Chrono Cross (which itself was a sequel to Chrono Trigger) with a tighter character focus like trigger, but springing off the parallel dimensions of Cross. Though, a new concept all together would be welcome

From a standpoint of the U.S.

For most firearms I can see both sides of the argument. Some argue that banning guns means criminals will be the only ones with guns but that argument fails the address the fact that banning guns at very least cuts deeply into the supply criminals have.

If guns are banned, manufactures are shut down. A huge chunk of guns come from stolen or "lost" shipments, or legal guns that have been modified to be untraceable and resold. If guns are banned, the only supply of illegal weapons will be from other countries and shipments will be harder to get into the country, and much more expensive when once here because of cost of smuggling. Meaning...your average street criminal can't just buy a snub nosed .38 for $25 (not a random price I pulled out of nowhere, a person living next door to me once tried to sell me that exact gun for that price lol). Now the prices are significantly higher. And they're more dangerous to have as the charge will likely go up. By taking it out of the hands of the average street criminal, you greatly cut down on gun violence but it's usually the average criminals that are dumb enough to use the things in the first place in most situations. The higher end criminals generally understand it's better to keep their illegal firearms for emergencies only. Not to mention they'll need to be illegally purchasing all their ammo as you can no longer just go get that. This means banning guns would have an impact on gun violence.

That said, I also understand the desire to not see the amendments being modified and concern for precedence that could set. And while I don't have a firearm myself (I find the Warhammer next to my door and battle-axe and spear in my room provide me with enough feelings of comfort in my home) I can also understand the angel of home defense for some. Now I don't get the concept of using them to overthrow the government because...having a gun when protesting against the government is just gonna get you justifiably shot.

Now, the reason I said "most firearms". Automatics need to go for civilian use. Full automatic fire is inaccurate and even in the military burst is more the default. Full automatic is generally used for suppress fire and firing upon a large group of close people. Neither of which a civilian should ever be doing. There's no reason a civilian needs a fully automatic rifle unless they plan to stage a coup or murder a bunch of people. For most that insist on having them it's an ego thing, and I do not support continuing to make weapons for civilian use that risk many lives for some people ego

Great review of one of my favorite's in the series.
One thing I wanna say though from your review

"Personally, I’m not well versed enough in the Assassins Creed world to fully understand what’s going on when it comes to the story."

I've played most of the games in the series and I can say without shame, neither do I.

My full shower is in the morning, the shower where I actually use shampoo and soap and scrub and such.

However at night I usually like to do a quick rinse of any sweat/grime in the shower and then draw a bath to lay in and relax. Usually with an audiobook going or music playing. Ask my Significant other and they'll say I am boiling myself in the top but hey, I won't apologize for enjoying hot water! The hot water also works on my muscles when they're getting a little sore

Last show I watched was the first 2 episodes of "Wanda Vision" on Disney +

Not too bad, little too focused on the gimmicks of old TV shows right now, but endearing enough. The cracks that serve the main plot of the show are a bit scarce at the moment but I am sure will become more prevalent.

Not hooked by the show yet, but intrigued and will keep going as more come out.
