RDay13 : Froslass, the Pokemon that they only added in so people would say " HEY LOOK, ITS A SNORUNT!!" and even then, it has to be female. Even now there's Glalie, who has a pretty useful Mega. But this, this is GARBAGE!! It looks a Gastly wanted to look nice so it covered its head(body?) in some weird snow robe, and BOOM Froslass. Next pokemon is Umbreon Froslass, the Pokemon that they only added in so people would say " HEY LOOK, ITS A SNORUNT!!" and even then, it has to be female. MalleoQuester : Wigglytuff. Really. Come on give me a challenge. Wigglytuff is so bad, they had to use its pre evolution in Smash brothers. Apparently when evolving, all Jigglypuff was get hit by a rolling pin and stretched out. Its best stat is HP, but the problem is its defenses are so low, it can one-shot by anything that has over 50 damage. It might hurt you with its special attack. BUT ITS SO SLOW YOU CAN I ONCE SAW A SHUCKLE OUTRUN IT IN A FOOTRACE. SHUCKLE'S GOT NO FEET. next up is Xatu Wigglytuff. Really. Come on give me a challenge. You know you've been playing Pokémon Go too much when you *go to Vegas with a briefcase screaming " I GOT 9,999 COINS. WHERE'S PORYGON" * go around your neighborhood at 3am to catch a Zubat who has higher cp than your 38 others. * now scream at all willows for being completely useless * start going over to friends houses and collecting small armies just to take down enemy gyms. * go about 2 miles an hour while driving (gotta get them eggs hatched) * start pacing around your room weirdly thinking you'll get your eggs hatched faster * start naming all of your eevee's after the anime characters. * spam the Lucky Eggs and evolving all of your Pidgeys Caterpies and Weedles trying to level up. * start noticing that every gym in your area isn't your team's * yell at whoever's driving to stop so you can challenge a gym. * grab your neighbor's cat thinking its Meowth * Try to use the previously mentioned Meowth's Pickup to get free Pokeballs * actually dress up like a trainer when walking around *go to Vegas with a briefcase screaming " I GOT 9,999 COINS. zanderlex : You can use the new games. I actually have been meaning to do a fairy monotype of Alpha Sapphire for a while now. You have to pick the type you want at the start of the game, and yes that's what you have to do. Say I'm doing a bug monotype of Ruby. I'll choose Mudkip so May has Treecko, who I'm strong against. Go ahead and try it out, if you haven't done it before, I recommend doing a type you can either get a lot of early on (normal types) or pick a starter type. So today I want to talk about the monotype challenge , and here are the rules 1. Choose a game. It can be ANY game all the way from Pokémon Red/Blue up to Black 2/White 2 (including the stand-alone games like Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum). Or, to make it a real challenge, play a game from each generation as well as one of each of FireRed/LeafGreen, HeartGold/SoulSilver, and Black 2/White 2 (this is called the Ultimate Mono-Type Challenge). 2. Choose a type. This type is going to be your “mono-type”. If you choose to take the Ultimate Mono-Type Challenge, this type will be used through all of the games, starting with R/B/Y and working your way forward through each generation. 3. Once you obtain a Pokémon of your mono-type in a game, you may only use Pokémon of your mono-type from then on. Dual-type Pokémon are fine as long as one of their types is your mono-type. 4. A Pokémon that evolves into a dual-type Pokémon who possesses your mono-type (such as Charmander evolving into a Flying Pokémon) counts as a Pokémon for your mono-type. The Pokémon must reach the evolution stage of the Pokémon that possesses your mono-type before you enter the Hall of Fame. 5. The goal is to defeat the Elite Four and enter the Hall of Fame on your particular game. Once you’ve done that, feel free to continue playing as you please. G/S/C and HG/SS players may opt to have defeating Red be their goal if they wish. 6. HM slaves may be used if a certain mono-type can’t use all of the HMs in a particular game (for instance, Fire not being able to Surf in R/B/Y). These Pokémon cannot be used to fight. If an HM slave ever attacks or causes you to win a battle (by self-destruction or recoil), your game is considered corrupted and must be restarted from the last save. Therefore it is advised to save often. 7. No trades allowed between games unless they are for the sole purpose of evolving a Pokémon and then trading them back. This also includes receiving Pokémon from games like Pokémon Stadium 1&2, Coliseum,, and Battle Revolution, as well as the eggs from the Pokémon Ranger games. 8. For HG/SS players, your Pokewalker is allowed. Any Pokémon obtained off of your Pokewalker is treated just like a Pokémon caught in game. 9. No glitches or cheating. This includes the Mew Glitch, Missingno. Glitch, and Rare Candy Glitch from R/B/Y. It also includes the use of any cheat devices such as GameSharks and Action Replays. 10. The use of legendaries is shunned. They make the challenge a bit too easy once they’re obtained. While not forbidden, players will often consider a mono-type challenge with legendary Pokémon to be a failsafe if they have no Pokémon left I want everyone to reply to this specific post so I can actually see who's doing the challenge. Here's an example of how to sign up for a single monotype Name : Latias900 challenge : Single Game : Fire Red Type : Poison. and now for Ultimate Name: Latias900 Challenge: Ultimate Type: Poison Let's see what you guys can make, also I want you to give us play- by plays on what goes on in your challenges, as well as your overall game plan for starting out. Good luck everybody! 1. Choose a game. It can be ANY game all the way from Pokémon Red/Blue up to Black 2/White 2 (including the stand-alone games like Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum). Standard nuzlocke rules with one exception you have to choose a certain element, the 1st Pokémon of the area with that element you must catch. Air: Flying, Ghost, Grass, Bug Water: water, Ice, Poison, Psychic Fire: Fire, electric, dark, Dragon Earth:ground Rock , Steel ,fighting Neutral= normal, (basically a monotype) you can catch Hm slaves, I'm also adding the Zubat clause and Lockdown clause the Zubat clause allows me to catch every NEW pokemon per area. The Lockdown clause says I can only swap out Pokemon, if either A.) I encountered a shiny and I want to put in the PC B.) HM slaves, but I always have to swap out the same pokemon for the Hm slave (for example , if I get put in a Zigzagoon , and I have to swap out my Nincada for it, when I'm done with Zig, I'll put Nincada in. C.) they die What game should I try this on, I'm thinking Emerald, and to truly "complete" the game , I have to beat it with all 4 elements. So go ahead and try it, what games should I try it on? you have to choose a certain element, the 1st Pokémon of the area with that element you must catch. HIT HIT HIT , CRITICAL HIT 999999999 DAMAGE, GONNA HAVE A BAD TIME! (sorry I'm undertale trash) I really liked it, especially cause I didn't even know it was coming up. But what's better is my little cousin got so inspired by it, he asked me if I could let him borrow my spare copy of Ruby (don't ask) I did and the kids been playing it nonstop on his Game Cube. Next person will have performed an Avatar Locke (look it up if not, I have a post on it) I really liked it, especially cause I didn't even know it was coming up. No one's got it yet. Hint: it doesn't mean a number in numerical form. (ex I would mean eight instead of 8) Hint: it doesn't mean a number in numerical form. (ex I would mean eight instead of 8) |

Furret : Charizard, ah Charizard, if you wanted to get some high quality roasts, I woulda stuck with Typhlosion, at least doesn't get killed by a pebble being thrown at his face. SINCE HE AIN'T A DRAGON!!!! I mean seriously, the goop ball is a dragon but not him, how pathetic. Yeah he has a new mega so he's dragon, but guess what, THAT FORM SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! I've talked with so many people, some who play competitively, and they all say " I always go with Y" and he still gets killed by a pebble. He also looks more like a newt which got some blue paper wings taped on him. Next Pokémon to hate on is Chandelure Charizard, ah Charizard, if you wanted to get some high quality roasts, I woulda stuck with Typhlosion, at least doesn't get killed by a pebble being thrown at his face. badcharizard5 : My favorite fire type, oh that's easy, Ninetales and there's a story behind it (warning: its a little depressing) I have a cousin named Matthew, and we were brothers, goofing off, joking around, hanging out, and most of all, playing video games. For example we played Okami and that's how he started getting into art, he's now working as an artist. However, we always had Pokémon battles, and it was great. However 1 day, he came to me with some news, he was moving out and leaving our state to move to Georgia, although I found this out later, after he had left, I haven't seen him since. Recently when booting up SoulSilver, I saw something, an egg. I decided to hatch it just to see, and it was a Shiny Vulpix. I named it "matteo" my nickname,I traded it up to Gen 6 and placed it on my team when ORAS came out, and its was SOOO useful, at least to me, I then evolved it and I swear I felt better than I ever had before I love you Matthew My favorite fire type, oh that's easy, Ninetales and there's a story behind it (warning: its a little depressing) I have a cousin named Matthew, and we were brothers, goofing off, joking around, hanging out, and most of all, playing video games. halinorxkadma : My favorite Ice Type Pokémon is Mamoswine, I had set up a randomizer (just the Pokémon, not the actual moves or such) and found it on route 3 of the game (it was a hack) as a Swinub. Porky, as I named her, helped me throughout most of the game and even managed to tank a Dynamic Punch, from a Golurk!!) supernerd117 : This never happened to me, but I have something similar, as well as 2 other stories 1.) I caught MEWTWO, with a pokeball, I misclicked while playing Y and full HP caught it. 2.) When I was little and playing Pokémon Sapphire, I ran across a shiny Skarmory, not even trying, I though my game was glichted, so I caught it and took it to Game stop where the guy asked why I was returning it, since he was there when I bought the game as well as when I talked about it and how fun it was, I told him about the " weird colored Skarmory" he smiled and said " I'll get that checked" I never saw that Skarmory again, he apparently fixed the game, and all my stuff was the same, however I couldn't find that Skarmory. Until that is, when ORAS came out, the guy was still working there and I considered him a friend. So when I bought the game, he gave me a friend code and said " since you've been buying at Game stop so long, we're giving you a sort of, loyalty rewards program." he told me to access it after I beat the game, and when I did and put the code in, guess what I got?? A SHINY SKARMORY, followed by Unknown spelling " sorry bout earlier... battle?" (the periods weren't there, I just kind of put them there, and they were all traded to me one after the other. I had a bunch of Spinda from Shiny chaining for one of them.) This never happened to me, but I have something similar, as well as 2 other stories 1.)
