I fixed the problem. I figured out that enter, caps lock, tab, left shift, right shift, control, alt, and backspace are the only controls that work. I reconfigured the controls and put together the weirdest setup ever, but hey it works.

The spoony bard, yeah the lamina harp (I think) is good at confusing normal enemys but against bosses hes dead weight. (i,m talking about the gba version if it makes a difference).
