I've been playing Pokémon Crystal (link at bottom of post) emulator for several days now, and just today it has stopped working.
When I start it up, I get a black screen with a line on it--and through some accidental highlighting, found that it actually has black text on there, reading:
"
Service Unavailable
--------------------------------------
HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable."

I found another game that uses the same emulator and gets the same response.

Before this happened, I was having trouble saving. It was taking a very long time, so I ended the task in task manager (which was probably not the smartest idea), It said it was not responding, I forced it off. This happened several times; and one time I forgot to close out one before trying to save it again, so I had two unresponsive save windows. I then forced one to end, which took the other one with it. When I tried to save again, I got a quick response that, if I remember correctly, was the same "Error 503", although the error message itself was formatted differently. I closed the emulator itself down and when I tried to restart it, it gave me the error screen.

Does anyone know why this happened (probably my fault, I realize), or more importantly, how I can fix it?

Thank you!

On a related side note, is there a way to transfer save files between emulators/plug ins for the same game? Or to have multiple files for the same game?
