Back in the days of ORAS I gave Kecleon a shot, going through the trouble of getting its hidden ability. Its awful speed was offset by getting both shadow sneak and sucker punch, and I also got power up punch to boost its power. I added onto that with return, and this let me use the assault vest which made its special defense completely absurd, so it was a complete truck. And also a 3'03'' chameleon. It helped that I could shuffle in resistances and immunities if necessary.

This actually brings to mind an ad campaign involving Domino's and dairy farms. On the pizza box was some kind of choose-your-own-adventure diagram thing like "I'm Andrew Ryan and I'd like to ask you a question, is the cheese not the best part of the pizza? NO says the man at the party, it's the amount of sauce, NO says the man doing the night shift, it's the quality of my pineapples. NO says the man from the streets, "I actually just buy pizza for the combo that gives me discounted chicken wings." I rejected those answers, I chose the unthinkable, I chose...

L A C T O S E "

At least that's how I remember it, but yeah they were advertising cows.

Just here in case I ever make some use of it. All I have for now is this. I recommend using right clicks to get a better look at images too big for this feeble layout to comprehend.

I still don't know how to represent myself on the internet.

I definitely feel you, it may take some time for a thought to propose some kind of artistic motivation, and even then, longer to compose something concrete. Some ideas may linger, being swirled around and modified over time. If it takes a really long time though, you may lose that spark or motivation. Guess it depends on the individual and their interests.

I think it's good stuff. I certainly couldn't articulate a passage like this, definitely not for formal emotionally driven philosophy. In any case, I'd say it's a good start. I'm not sure exactly how you feel about writing in general, but unless you have other preoccupations, if you got back into writing you may end up even better the more you practice. I completely get it, when you become an artist for the first time and you start making things, then get a perspective for how good these things can be, you sort of lose that confidence. From my second hand point of view, what you think sucks, I think would get you applied to some kind of... poetry... organization? There are people who publish poetry right? Well, the point I'm getting across is to not focus on how you gauge your skill, but to just let your creativity flow for the sake of the experience.

Or maybe you just don't like writing in your free time anymore, that's fine too.

I don't. I just let my dog spread his divine essence across my household. His fur permeates every crevice within, everything here contains a piece of him. He will follow me in spirit wherever I go.

Also you should designate an affection spot for your dog so that when you pet it the hair doesn't spread all over places you don't want it to be.

Welcome back to the website, here is your egg.

I do hope you enjoy yourself now, things are a bit slow, but at any given point activity may spike up. We do still have games, in any case. And traps, don't forget the trapping. You may very well become the next tyrannical ruler of an army of users.

Well if Sonikku X the Movie is any indication to go by, I feel like this is the same trend that was followed back in the 90's. Hollywood thinks that appealing to the Video Game market is a good idea, we get the Super Mario Bros and Street Fighter movies, we unanimously decide this was a mistake, and we stop making video game movies for another two decades. Now to be fair, it isn't the video game's fault if they keep deciding to take the movie down the Alvin and the Chipmunks route, we had the Warcraft movie for instance, and that wasn't at all terrible. It's just a matter of good representation, and making 3D renders of Ludicolo, Mr. Mime, and Snubull, morphing Sonic into... whatever he is now, and hiring Ace Ventura while shoe-horning in a generic human lead actor that in-character has no business getting involved with the plot is not the way we want to take video game movies. But Minecraft will do it anyways, the plot will be that a generic middle schooler falls into a portal into a mysterious new world and has to fight and craft to survive, they're going to track former workers from Telltale studios who are now living in cardboard boxes, and CGI creepers will look like this.

That is really rough. Probably one of the lowest points in your life from the looks of it. Is it the end? Definitely not.

Like, I understand you're shaken up, when something like this sunders a large part of a person's life you can't blame anyone for feeling like they've been forsaken. Yet the best way to handle this is not letting go of your hopes and determination. Now, this will be coming from someone who doesn't exactly know what your job is, what kind of education you've got, so I can't say what paths are open for you, but know that there will be paths. Not necessarily paths you may want, but compromise is the spice of life.

Sometimes things will just go wrong, it's always a probability. Sometimes one problem leads straight into another, and a streak of misfortune gets going. Seems like that's your position right now, so what you need to dedicate your mind to is not wallowing in the pit you fell into, but redirecting yourself out, however it takes. If your girlfriend doesn't want to help, if she doesn't care about you anymore, then it's not like you should stick with her anyways, there are better people than that for you. If you can't function in your job, then you just got to start up from scratch, somewhere where you can contribute and build yourself back up. If your motor capabilities need to recover, there are jobs you can take that don't require much movement on your part, things to occupy yourself with and earn a bit on the side till you're ready for something more hands on.

What I want to get across is that hope is a terrible thing to lose. Without hope, a lot of people feel like nothing, but even worse is to disregard any opening of hope, to lock yourself into the depression you found yourself in. I wouldn't say a miracle would happen, it could, but knowing well that your problems won't sort themselves out, you can still plan ahead and look to a different tomorrow. Some dreams are destined to be broken, but if you can always make more, then it's something to make the next morning worth reaching.

I used to play Overwatch. No, that's not the game I'm discussing now, truth be told I can get mad with a lot of games due to either the situation at hand or my own incompetency, (or because I'm fighting Ness for the third time in a row) but usually I enjoy the game to an extent that I keep coming back. That being said, I haven't played Overwatch in a long time, because my old laptop was replaced by an old pizza box retrofitted with a cpu, crappy intel, and plastic. I did find an alternative... that Paladins game is free right?

I would have never even bothered trying to download a game like that on my laptop, but then they released the Switch edition, and I did indeed have a Switch to run it. Nowadays, it's a fine game, if you don't mind the console experience of an FPS. When it came out though, sweet tater tots from Hell's Kitchen IT WAS TERRIBLE. The game had features that weren't functional, various features and the UI were bugged, certain characters were bugged, and to top it all off, I initially wanted to be Mr. Homebody and main tanks frontliners and supports. Honestly I had a worse time with the frontliners, many of the supports are engaging and competent, unlike when Overwatch had half of their healers engaging in something I can only call survival horror. There was a crazy amount of other issues, from the game crashing in the middle of a match, to defaulting to auto-purchase mode at random times, to diet Sion losing the ability to do anything other than walk until he dies.

That was no life for someone to live, so I uninstalled the game and didn't come back for a long time. I even made a Steam post (since my Nintendo account doesn't let me access their own site) and made an awareness post on all the things that were going wrong, there's probably plenty of stuff I forgot by now or stuff I never encountered, like hero specific bugs. I got two replies, both referring to a last second quip about the new hero being OP. Yes, the past three paragraphs hold no merit to an obvious jest I made you uncivil swines. That's like if I ended this post with "send nudes" and everyone here addressed that.
Don't actually send nudes I swear to god...
Now the game is actually 90% functional. The devs themselves even described their goals of an anti-bug crusade, and have seemingly delivered. I came back, played a flank character once, instantaneously realized what I was missing in life, and now here we are.

Ness. Screw everything about Ness. Really, anyone can play him, at base level, that's why you see him every three matches, anyone can spam pk fire into aerials, grabs, and smashes. Then when you try and get a hang of his recovery... cack. I'm actually at a point where I hate him so much and fought him so much that I can usually deal with him, but it's such a blow to my morale. Also I hate getting grabbed in this game, and Ness is endorsed to grab at any opportunity since he has a kill throw and can combo into basically anything. Lucas has a tether grab, which is even worse, but as for him, he's less spammy, has a more balanced kit, and decent recovery. He kinda passes in my books.
And then he uses his up smash.

There was a time I think when I liked Mother.

I swear I recognize Snodeca as a name too, guess it depends on if I'm thinking of a different user or when you changed to this name, but I also remember you as JMS. Anyways, as always, the more people who enter Vizzed right about now, the better. I look forward to learning the principles of your true essence.

Or something.

To be fair I doubt a Garfield video game would have any substance to it whatsoever. Or at least it would get tedious.

Now if it was anything like Untitled Goose Game however... it would probably still be boring.

All right, sit down while I tell you about the best worst teacher I ever knew.

First thing you should know about me is how I look at math. Poorly. My style of learning was never suited for math, the bull about showing work and carrying, god the carrying. Of course in early grades this wasn't much of an issue, but once I made the shift into middle school it was everyone's dedication to rip my innocence into shreds. Mrs. Cockerham was at the forefront, and let me tell you, if you had to live your life long enough with a name like cock her ham, it would be long enough to see yourself become the villain. She was one of those scream at the class teachers, just as a hobby. Cruel, unempathetic, and I was essentially her punching bag. To paint a picture, she organized the class by alphabet. As you can imagine, whatever my last name is, I was right up front for her easy access. The kids next to me were A, some huge kid who was held back by at least two grades, I don't remember much about him other than he always needed a pencil, and B for bully, someone who never shut up about each little transgression that I committed over the course of a class.

On the first day the teacher was mean, unlike any teacher I ever knew (cept that one from 2nd grade), and made it ever so apparent I knew nothing about math in her eyes. Considering I was up front, I always got caught on for questions. You know when teachers have the methodology to call on kids who aren't raising their hands on the assumption they weren't paying attention and to call them out on it, but really more than half the time they just really don't want to answer the stupid question? That was her. And me. I was the "just don't call on me, we've been over this seven times this week" kid. By the second day of middle school, on top of every thing else that was happening, her class was the breaking point, she calls on me for something I can't answer, and I break out crying saying I don't know. And classmate B tears me apart for that. I was an easy target.

Very soon after that, she proved that she just outright hated me for no particular reason other than not being good at math when I tried sketching pokemon after finishing a worksheet. Now she never brought up a no drawing policy of her class before, she even had books for when kids were done working, but when she saw me drawing, she yells at me, snatches my drawing, and reads it aloud and shows the class. Basically like the pack leader tossing scraps to the rest of the group, because everyone made fun of my interest in pokemon. Yep, 2-3 years before I even touch the internet, for the first time having a hobby made the opposite of friends, at a time where the friends I made with pokemon were gone now.

It wasn't the last time I tried drawing though. Once I tried again, more discreetly within my backpack to either hide the fact, or at least shove it back in if she called me on it. She wasn't even kind enough to give me a warning that time, before I knew she was over me, she snatched at the paper, but I didn't let go. We had a tug of war over my drawing, and she ripped off part of it, but I grabbed the rest and ran out the classroom. It was one of those schools that has lockers, but never bothered using them, so I ended up tearing up my drawing, shoving it in through the vents of a locker, then crying about it outside, as I would rather have destroyed my things than let Mrs. C-Ham embarrass me over it. That whole school was awful, but she was the emblem of everything wrong. When I was picked up by my mom and brought home on the last day of school, I cursed the name of that place from the car window.

I haven't really trusted the school system of Hillsborough since then, I was given more reasons to hate the education board if anything, but before sixth grade, teachers were people I trusted. These days, anyone is hired on qualifications alone, and it's sheer lucky chance if they actually care about the class or not. If anyone in that school had sense, they would have seen the way Cockerham managed the class and forced her to change or fire her. At least now she makes a good punchline.

Yes! My element!

I don't think you realized in time, but my boys Venusaur and Gengar are poison type. More than a fifth of pokemon at the time were poison types for frigs sake. I'm one of those people who actually picked Bulbasaur, the thing is actually a beast these days, maybe in early gen not so much, since *pulls up documents* yep, back then solar beam constituted as what the devs intended to be the grass type ace in the hole. Now with actual moves at its disposal and a freaking mega I love Venusaur plenty, as for gen 1, well, Gengar doesn't learn any relevant moves outside TM's and isn't very... poisonous, so I guess I'll stick with Tentacruel and Weezing. For one, Tentacruel is a good specially offensive and defensive pokemon in gen 1, cause, you know, broken stats, and just generally tanky in any other instance. They make use of it with access to hydro pump, ice beam and blizzard, even mega drain and the unholy wrap of death. Maybe I like the idea of exploding in the faces of my enemies a bit too much, but Weezing is really tanky for what it is. That's a poison type's benefit in general, outlasting the opponent while setting up more and more ways to hurt them in kind. Really though, poison types really needed the tools given to them in later generations. As a bonus notice, Crobat is another favorite pick of mine. Poison flying comes with three quadruple resistances, and the pokemon itself is an excellent fast switch-in. That and Zubat are as common as lint.

You dug yourself into this hole, now run before I begin talking about Venomoth.

Worst case scenario, Ouija 2: Revengeance The Squeaquel. What these guys ideally want is to be the cheaper alternative to the three main titans, earn a modest income, and slowly climb closer to NinSonySoft's level. They won't have the same support as the other three, they can't reliably claim to be the next big thing, but they can at least try to exist for a whole year before moving on step by step, getting more party support, a bigger company, and finding more things to develop.
Alternatively, a company might find a new way to innovate consoles that totally works, gaining a bigger following and even pioneering a new path for other companies to rip off to take inspiration from. Maybe make a gaming chair that's actually the console?
... nobody copyright that idea for the next 10 years.

pennylessz : To be fair we need to accept that, no matter what they do, someone is going to come out with a 40 minute analysis on why this remaster is the most abysmal excuse of a recreation from a golden classic of my childhood ever conceived from the bowels of Sony's production team. As for me, I'm kinda hyped. This was a game that, while I never owned it, a friend of mine did, and I have fond memories of hanging with him and playing this game. A new generation needs that kind of exposure.

To be fair, this sounds like something a few social rights assessments could solve if someone like a member of, say, "single moms against work discrimination" got labeled as a terrorist for bad mouthing the system. You could heavily broaden plenty of words (the internet likes doing this) to mean dozens of things that they weren't intended to label, but something like "terrorist"? I feel like that's pushing it. Little Timmy's mom is a terrorist. Really. Take it several notches further and trivialize some more serious matters, you would have the marches, so I wouldn't think that this would be used as irresponsibly as copyright dictatorship.
