tgags123 : Yes, I just discovered that, and I'm dreadfully sorry! It might have been some sort of glitch.

Pokémon
Fire Red and Leaf Green

Chapter
Three:
When Kindred Spirits Unite

        “Chuuuuuu!” and a loud,
high-pitched scream was the first thing my friends Blue, Leaf and I heard from
our future closest pals, Yellow and Pika. “Whoa!” said Leaf. “That sounded like
a girl getting electrocuted!” She turned to me. “C’mon, Red, let’s go check it
out!” We dashed over to where we heard the shriek come from. “Wait up!” Blue
called, running right behind us. We were surprised by what we saw. It was a
blond with a huge straw hat, skinny dark blue jeans, a long orange sleeveless
shirt, and a long-sleeved black one underneath. He also wore purple boots and
had a brown belt with a Pokéball pocket tied tightly around his waist. He was
awfully small.  Blue smirked. “It’s a
guy…” he said, trying to keep a straight face. I laughed. Then Blue joined me.
We couldn’t help ourselves. Leaf just rolled her eyes and walked over to the
victim. “Poor thing…” she said, putting her hand on his back. Yellow moved.
“Something must’ve scared the living daylights out of you.” “Ouch…” he said,
while getting up. Then he gave the Pikachu sitting next to him an angry look.  “He lives!” shouted Blue. Yellow coughed.
“Pika…” he said. “If you do that one more time, I swear I’ll-” Pikachu interrupted
by emitting sparks from his bright red cheeks. He was warning Yellow not to
tick him off again.

        Yellow turned to us.
“Hello!” he said in a high-pitched, but rough voice. “I’m Yellow!” The boy then
explained how he got his Pokémon, the warning he got from Professor Oak, and
why Pika electrocuted him. “I got him because he was the last one left.
According to Professor Oak, the other three were taken by other Trainers.” The
three of us looked at each other, and then turned to Yellow. “Well…” started
Blue. “Those Trainers were…” Leaf continued. I ended the sentence “…us.” Yellow
just smiled. “That’s alright. What I’m worried about is Pika… I hope to get
along with him soon…” he said looking at Pika, who merely turned away and
frowned. “Heh…” the three of us said looking at each other. “Good luck with
that.” Yellow said he was hoping to strengthen the bond him and his Pikachu
through battle. “To cut a long story short…” said Yellow, “I’d like to travel with
you guys!” Leaf nodded. “Sure you can! And you can call me Leaf!” I just
smiled. “Yeah, alright. I’m Red!” Blue just crossed his arms and rolled his
eyes. “You may address me as ‘Master Blue’.” “Er….okay?” said Yellow.

        I elbowed Blue. Then he
just shot me a death stare. Yellow inched closer to Leaf. He seemed to be more
comfortable around her. “So, you guys are aiming to collect, what? Eight
badges?” We all nodded. “Well, I’ll join you! Come on, Pika.” Pika sluggishly
hopped on to Yellow’s shoulder. A few minutes later, the four of us were
merrily walking down the road to Pewter City, where we would get our first Gym
Badges. I suggested that we split up to look for some wild Pokémon.

        Everyone agreed happily
except for Yellow, who seemed nervous. “O-okay….” he stammered. “MAN UP!” Blue
shouted, elbowing Yellow hard. Yellow just cleared his throat. “We really
should get this over with…” With that, the four of us separated and strolled
along our own paths, keeping in mind that we would meet again soon - or not too
soon - in Pewter City. I strolled along at a leisurely pace, making sure not
walk past too quickly in case there were any rare Pokémon. I stopped suddenly
because I heard something fluttering its wings behind me. I turned around to
find a Pidgey hovering in front of my head. It gave me a funny look. Then he
kept on hovering right in front of my face, staring at me. I wasn’t sure of
what to do. What happened next was so sudden I jumped, for the Pidgey had taken
my lovely red cap and flew off with it in its beak deeper into the forest. I
immediately raced after it, shouting at it to stop, but he just flew on as if I
wasn’t there. I grumbled with anger, and then threw off my big, yellow backpack
because it was slowing me down very much. “I’ll get you!” I threatened. “And it’ll
look like a messy accident!” The Pidgey stopped. He slowly turned around, his
wings fluttering more slowly than before, and dropped my cap next my foot.
Then, he flew down to the ground and looked up at me with huge eyes. “Aw…” I
said. “I didn’t mean it, little fella…” I bent down on my knee and stroked its
back. The Pidgey hopped up onto my lap and started cuddling with me. I told him
that he could join me if he wanted to. “Well?” I said, extending my hand with a
Pokéball in it. Pidgey happily slashed his wing at the little button at the
middle. With that, the Pokéball popped open, and Pidgey went in, along with a
bright red light. The Pokéball shook three times. Then, stars popped out. I
officially had a new partner.

        After returning to
retrieve my knapsack which I had left behind, getting lost, finding my way, and
getting lost again, I found myself in Pewter City. It was dark, and the street
lights lit up the city beautifully. Later, I met up with a happy Leaf, a ticked
off Blue, and a rather scratched up Yellow. “Charmy has a new friend!” I said
cheerfully, sending out my newly-caught Pidgey. “So does Squirt!” added Leaf,
who sent out a Caterpie. Blue apparently didn’t catch anything, because he was
looking away and frowning. “At least I have Bulba…” he mumbled. Then the three
of us turned to Yellow. “Ouch…” he said. Blue smirked. “You’re all scratched
up, aren’t you?” I walked over to Yellow. “Are you alright?” I asked, putting
my hand on his shoulder. And I’m not positive, but I think I saw his cheeks
flush red. Maybe he was tired. “Yes.” he said. “I know I don’t look like I just
came back from a tea party, but I got something out of it. Pika?” To our
surprise, Yellow’s Pikachu hopped up onto his shoulder and smiled. Yellow
started to tickle him. “Pikachuu!” he said laughing and rolling around. Yellow
looked back at us. “He gained my trust.” Then Pika hit the back of her head
with its tail. Yellow frantically re-adjusted his straw hat which had almost
fallen off. He laughed. “Alright.” He said to Pika. “I gained your trust, too.”
Pika smiled. “How’d that happen?” asked Blue. Yellow answered, “Long story.” “Aw,
come on!” said Leaf, nudging Yellow’s shoulder. “Tell us!” Yellow sat down on a
bench. “Alright.” He said. And that story was extraordinary.

Chapter
Two: Yellow of Viridian Forest

Hello. My name is Yellow. Yellow
Caballero. That day a year ago was special. It was the day I got my starter
Pokémon and began my adventure with my friends. I lived in Viridian Forest all
alone. One day even longer ago than that, when I was about eight, I met a girl
called Leaf. She looked about ten. Back then, she had no hat, slightly bigger
hair, and was wearing a sleeveless black dress. “Hello, little girl. What’s
your name? I’m Leaf.” She said to me. “Hello. My name is Yellow. Yellow
Caballero.” I replied. I could tell from her facial expression that she was
looking for something – or someone. She peeked over my shoulder to see what I
was drawing in my sketchpad. I was drawing a boy I had met earlier that day. A
boy who saved me from a wild, rampaging Dratini. He looked about her age, and
he had light brown hair.

       I heard her whisper behind
my back, “That’s Red, alright…” “Who?” I asked. I was very curious. “That
sketch of yours looks a lot like a friend of mine called Red. Have you seen
him?” “Yes!” I answered. “He saved me about half-an-hour ago from a rampaging
Dratini. I’m glad I’m okay. But I’m sad for all of the Pokémon that got hurt.
And that’s why I’m healing them.” “How? I don’t see any potions with you….”
Leaf paused. “No.” I looked at her. “Yes.” I replied. “You are one of those
very few people…..” she said. “Those special people born in Viridian Forest
with the gift of healing Pokémon and reading their thoughts… Use the power of
the forest wisely, Yellow…” I nodded. “Of course I will, Leaf.” “Yellow…” she
said, sounding very worried, “you live all alone, right?” “Yeah.” I answered.
”But it’s really not that bad, actually. I can take care of myself just fine!”
She still looked worried. “Good for you, kid. But that’s not what I’m really
worried about. Your powers are amazing. But in the wrong hands, very bad things
could happen.”

       I was confused. “It’s not
like anyone can steal my powers, Leaf.” “I know that.” she said. “But people
can use you.” I was getting a little bit mad. “Leaf. I’m not stupid. It’s not
like I’d do anything some random person tells me to do. I know what’s good, and
I know what’s bad.” “I know, Yellow.” said Leaf, who was starting to get just a
little bit impatient. “But people can FORCE you to use your powers.” I remained
silent. “There are bad people out there. Like Team Rocket…. you may not have
heard of them. Team Rocket is an organization in Kant trying to separate
humans from Pokémon by force. They believe the human race is cruel to Pokémon
and that we do nothing but cause them pain.” “That’s not true!” I exclaimed.
“At least not for all humans.” “Exactly. I hope they’ll be stopped one day…
Yellow, people like those in Team Rocket could use you for their own advantage,
so I suggest you hide your identity.” I thought long and hard.

I finally came up with a
disguise.“I know!” I said, placing my huge, straw hat on my blonde hair. “I’ll
cover up my ponytail with this hat of mine, and that way I’ll look like boy!”
Leaf chuckled. “Well, it’ll do for now. Good idea, by the way.” “Thanks!” I
said. “You’re welcome. Anyway, I’d better go look for Red. He sure is good at
hide-and-seek…” I laughed. “Well, goodbye, Yellow! And good luck! Until the day
we meet again.” And we did meet again. Three years later, when we were all
starting our Pokémon journeys.

        Three years later, I was
still in that same forest in my same disguise, taking care of myself as usual.
I did explore outside of the forest sometimes. I met many people, including
Professor Oak, who said I could have a starter Pokémon on my eleventh birthday.
For most trainers, like the ones I met later on, one would have to wait until
his or her thirteenth birthday, but the professor thought I was ready.
“Yellow…” he said. “I sense you’d be ready to have your first Pokémon very
soon. I’m positive taking care of oneself in a forest at such a young age is
difficult, but due to that, you are very mature for how old you are. You’re
very bright and quick-thinking. You keep your outlook relatively optimistic,
but you don’t act too cheerful all the time so you know when to act in case
danger lurks nearby. I trust you’d be ready at around eleven.” And that day
came pretty fast.

That morning, I slept in. I had slept really
late the night before, excitedly thinking of the next day. I was awoken by a
Pidgey that decided to peck my nose. I bolted straight up, hitting my head on a
branch right above where I was sleeping. “OW!” I yelled. “That’s gonna leave a
mark…” I looked at the sky. The sun was out, and it was pretty high up, too.
“Oh, no!” I said, panicking. “I overslept!” I quickly put on my hat and dashed
off to Professor Oak’s lab.  “I am so
sorry I’m late, professor!” I said as I was running into the lab. “Well, don’t
worry, because I won’t be staying here for long! I’ve already made up my mind!
I’m going with Charmander!” I clicked open the Pokéball to find that it was
empty. I was confused. “Er…”  Professor
Oak turned to me. “That Pokémon was taken by a Trainer who was on time.”

        Then I popped open the
Pokéball next to it. There was no Pokémon in it. I was getting worried. “I sure
hope this last one has a Pokémon in it… I’m so desperate at this point I’d
actually accept this if it were a Magikarp.” I clicked it, and… nothing. “Those
two were also taken by Trainers who weren’t late. But don’t fret, Yellow.
There’s still one more.” I sighed in relief. The last Pokéball, which Professor
Oak had taken out of a cupboard and dusted, popped open. And standing there on
the table, was a Pikachu. “It may be cute,” warned the Professor, “but it isn’t
too friendly.” I told him I’d be careful and headed out with my new friend in
my arms. “I think I’ll call you Pika!” Pika didn’t seem to care much, because
he made a “not amused” face and just blankly stared off into the distance. “Aw…”
I said with admiration. “You sure are adorable!” I started stroking his tail.
Pika didn’t appear to enjoy it very much. He made it pretty clear, too, a few
seconds later…

Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen

Chapter One: Pallet Town Legends
My heart was racing that day. My friends Leaf and Blue, who, along with me, had been living in Pallet Town ever since we were born, highly  anticipated that fateful day – the day we became Pokémon Trainers. Pallet Town is a peaceful little town in the region of Kanto, and also where our story began. After thirteen years of waiting and dreaming, my best friends and I could finally receive a starter Pokémon from the local Pokémon Professor, Professor Oak. Professor Oak is Blue’s grandfather. Having the privilege of befriending and growing stronger with these magnificent creatures is awesome, but it comes with great responsibility. As you and your Pokémon work together to achieve more and more goals, the bond between you grows ever stronger. But enough about that. Let me take you back to the beginning.        “Red….Red!” That was the first thing I heard that morning. It was my mom calling out to me from the kitchen. “Red,” she said. “Wake up, Red! Last night you were all excited and raring to go! This is your big day, isn’t it?” I groaned. “Coming, Mom…. Eventually….” I fell out of bed and put on my red-and-white shoes and socks. I threw on a black T-shirt and a pair of baggy light-blue jeans. Also, I put on my favorite red cap on top of my light brown hair. Then I put on my red vest with a tall, white collar, grabbed my yellow knapsack and dashed out of the room. I was going way too fast, and I ended up tumbling down the stairs. “Ooh!” my mom said, covering her eyes. “Are you okay?” I got up and dusted my vest. “No…… but I’m so excited that I don’t even feel it!” My mom chuckled. “Alright then, Red. You’d better be off.” “’Kay, Mom! See you soon.” “And happy thirteenth birthday!” I walked out of the house. A cold breeze whooshed by. “Soon…” I thought. What was I thinking? A Pokémon journey can take a long time. A really long time. Before I even took my first step I felt myself banging into someone, and I was pretty sure of who it was. “Ouch…” I said, rubbing my bruised forehead. I looked up from where I was lying on the ground to find that I was knocked down by my friend, – why do I keep calling him that? Well… Blue is my friend, I guess… Kind of. Let’s just say we have a really competitive relationship. Blue always wore a black T-shirt with a short, bent collar, baggy indigo jeans, and, which I found rather odd, a small necklace with a white oval in the middle. Also, he had two, small indigo cuffs around his wrists, just like the black ones around mine. Blue’s hair was very spiky, and it was very, very light brown. So light it almost looked like orange.   “Ouch!” Blue growled. “Watch where you’re goin’, pipsqueak!” I got up slowly. “Blue…..” I said. “You’re only two inches taller than me. And it was you who knocked me down…”         “Pfft. Anyway, Red, we’ve gotta go get our starter Pokémon! We can’t be late!” Just as we were about to head off to Professor Oak’s lab, we heard a familiar voice call out to us from behind. “Yo, Red!” she shouted. “Blue! Wait up!” I turned to find that it was Leaf, my other best friend. Blue immediately turned his attention to Leaf and frowned. The rivalry between Blue and Leaf is just as strong as the one between him and me – if not stronger. Blue scoffed. “Took you long enough.” Leaf always wore a sleeveless blue T-shirt, a small white hat, black cuffs around her wrists, and a short, red skirt. Also, she wore light blue just-below-the-knee socks and was carrying a yellow bag. Leaf was just under my height, and she had long, brown hair. “What are we waiting for, guys? Let’s go meet our partners!” The three of us dashed over to Professor Oak’s lab.         “Yo, Gramps!” called Blue as we were walking in. “Where are our Pokémons?” “Patience, Blue.” said Professor Oak. “And the plural form of Pokémon is Pokémon, not ‘Pokémons’. “Whatever,” scoffed Blue. “I just want him now!” Professor Oak shook his head. “Tsk, Tsk. For waiting patiently and being more polite, I will allow your friends to select first.” Blue’s mouth dropped open. “That’s alright.” said Blue, smiling. “I don’t mind at all, since I’m real mature!” Leaf rolled her eyes. “Well?” I said, looking at her. “Ladies first!” “Nah!” she exclaimed. “It’s alright, you can go ahead.” “Thanks,” I replied.  I slowly walked over to the small, chestnut brown table with the three Pokéballs on it. Professor Oak snapped his fingers. With that, they all popped open.        On the left was the Grass-Type Pokémon, which Professor Oak told me, was called Bulbasaur. I thought it was cute and all, but it wasn’t for me. I turned my attention to the one in the middle. That one was the Fire-Type starter, Charmander. It looked perfect. What could be better than a bipedal lizard that breathes fire? Then I took a look at the one on the right, Squirtle, which was the Water-Type starter. “You know…” I said. “I think I’ll stick with Charmander. My father gave me the name “Red” because the color red stands for warmth and fire, and he wanted me to become a man with warmth and fire in his heart. That’s why I decided my starter would be Fire-Type, befitting my name. Also, I heard its final evolution is really tough.”        “Good for you!” exclaimed Professor Oak. He turned to Leaf. “Now, then. Will you be choosing Bulbasaur, the Grass-Type, to match your name?” “Hmph.” Like I’d pick a Pokémon for such a childish reason. Red chose Fire, so I’ll choose water!” “Hey!” I said. Fire Types are weak against Water Types. And Water Types are weak against Grass Types. And Grass Types are weak against Fire Types. So we all had at least one strength and one weakness. It was like a circle. Leaf was chasing me while I was chasing Blue while Blue was chasing her. “In that case,” said Blue, “I pick Bulbasaur!” We were all holding our starters. “That settles that, then!” said Professor Oak. “Good luck on your journey!” We all thanked him and headed off.

Lol, I actually considered that, but I decided to post here 'cause I was sure the local Mods would be like "Oh, this belongs in the Pokemon Forum!"

Hello, guys! So, I'm making a little Word document about the adventures of Red, Blue, Leaf, and Yellow in the Kanto region! It's sort of a small project that'll never be printed XD. Because of that, I've decided to gradually post the story on one of my favorite sites, Vizzed! Just so you know, Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green (my small "book" type thing, i guess)  is a mixture of the games, anime, and manga. Anyone who's interested can keep checking back for the first part of the FR LG saga (in the future, I'll be making HGSS, RSE, DPPt, BW, B2W2, and XY)! Part 1 coming tomorrow! Note: Don't expect much, it's written by a 12-year-old XD. And I couldn't decide whether to post 1 paragraph per day or 1 page per day, so I'll leave it up to you guys! Vote in the replies! NintendoFanKimmy, over and out!

Hey, guys! I know I said I'd make this yesterday, but I was really busy, and I had a lot of homework . So I made it today! Who, in your opinion, is Ash Ketchum from the Pokemon franchise's best rival? My personal favorites are Gary and Paul ! They were actually really mean to Ash, and in my opinion deserved their places as major rivals! Well, who's your favorite?

Awesome! Sinnoh is my second favorite ! Well, at least in the games.... in the anime, I'd say Sinnoh was my top favorite! It was awesome, and gave Ash an awesome rival, too! I'll me making another poll tomorrow asking people who they think Ash's best rival was! And, yeah, I'm still a newbie, so I can't make another one today . Well, I'm getting used to this site already !

Pokémon sure has come a long way! I was wondering what every one's favorite region is! My favorite is Johto, as my first game was Heart Gold ! Starting in 1996, the Pokemon franchise has developed quite a bit, and since then they've created six generations! With the release of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y a few days ago, marking the beginning of the sixth generation (and the sixth region), I've decided to create this poll (which also happens to be my first)! So guys, which one'll it be ?
