pkmntrainersonic :

Nothing is perfect, but it may be hard to see the flaws in something that you really enjoyed. Mother 3 is not a bad game by any means, so it is very reasonable to enjoy a game like this, but it is not the flawless masterpiece that many people says it is.
I'm glad you liked the game, but I don't see how writing a review can prove anything. Reviews are often mostly based on opinion.

I realise this will be heavily biased, being posted on a board dedicated to retro games. Also, let's not turn this into a competition.

So, do you prefer newer or older games? Why?
Personally, I mostly find myself enjoying somewhat newer games (Less than 10 years old). I like having a good story, but I find many retro games lacking in that aspect. It's also nice to have good 3d without annoying set camera angles.

darthyoda :

Thank you. I'll try taking these things into consideration if I am to create a new review in the future
My ratings, however, are at the top of the review, right under the game play pictures. I suppose it would be a bit hard to notice, though.

I'll try to keep this review spoiler free.
Mother 3 is a great game, definitely worth playing. With that being said, it doesn't quite live up to the glory of Mother 2/Earthbound. It kind of lost much of the quirky atmosphere, but it has improved on some other aspects.

Graphics
The graphics are beautiful. That's all I have to say.

Addictiveness
This is a game that you want to come back to. It's has a bit repetitive game play, but that just adds to the addictiveness.

Story
This is a story-heavy game. It's more serious than other retro games. Chapter 1 left me rather sad. However, the story gets increasingly more cheesy and unrealistic as it progresses, and the ending doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Depth
This is a long game. It's not exactly open world, though, so you might want to explore things thoroughly before moving on.

Difficulty
It is not very difficult. You may need to "grind" a bit, but you will rarely get lost not knowing what to do.

I just bought a rather expensive item from the accessory shop by accident. I didn't even have to click a 'buy' button, just clicked a slot number, and it bought it without warning.
I suggest adding an "Are you sure you want to buy this item" warning, so other people won't make the same mistake.

I'd rather not show my gender on Vizzed, but I see no way to change nor hide my gender in my profile. Is there any way this could be changed? If there isn't there really should be.
Also, I don't really like the pink color that comes with my profile, it would be nice if users weren't forced to have a certain color just because of their gender.

Never. Not even on new years eve. It is neither healthy nor very funny to stay up when you're dead tired.

I tried to go in both versions of the Mario cart game versions, but it is quite hard to find out how you steer the game, when you don't know any controls. After a lot of trouble with hitting random keys, I finally got to start the race. But when I'm racing in the one version, the button to trigger an item is somewhere inconvenient, and on the other version, I couldn't find out how to trigger an item at all...
Can anyone give me a guide to how I can control my game, and how I can change the controls?

To be honest, I have never received a score for my school work. The schools I have attended just didn't give that kind of thing
Not getting a score, discourages you in doing your best.

I read somewhere at the help center, that every retro game costs viz, and the price depends on how big the game is.
I don't know if I'm just blind, but if look at a retro game, then I can't find anywhere where it's written, how much Viz the game costs.
Also, if we say that it costs 10 Viz to play a certain game, do you then have to pay every time you open the game, or just the first time?

Hey! I just joined vizzed a few days ago

I have always liked retro and pixel rpgs and such, and I wonder why I didn't find this place earlier. I used to search a lot for those kinds of games, but google never showed me this place...
It was first, when I was about to learn Spanish, and I tried to search for "games en español", that I found this site. I have no idea why I found this game, when I tried to search for games in Spanish, because I think this website is fully in English (or what?)
Anyway, I'm really glad that I can play those cool retro games here, it is really great!
