It's different for each person.  We all give off a slightly different impression, and that can vary with mood as well.

I've never found it easy to randomly engage people in conversation.  I may try it more, but people are so distracted by cellphones and other junk, that it is harder than ever.  Especially with all the class, looks, and racial divisions people buy into these days.

Funny thing is that I'm usually open to a hello or conversation.

It was my favorite handheld, until I bought a 3DS.  The GG's only problem for me was the weak sound, which was a strong point of the Genesis.  But for awesome games like Shinobi, and the Sonics, I never bought a gameboy until the Advance.  I was rockin MKII, doing portable fatalities while GB owners were arguing about Tetris being better than Columns.  Yeah, maybe a little, so what.  8)

Well if you like turn based strategy, definitely try Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced.

But for action RPG, I'll come out of left field.  Shadowrun for the Genesis.  There's a SNES game as well, and the debate about which was better was never really settled.  But they are 2 different games, both worth checking out.

Newb strike!  I have never been into pokemon.  In fact I used to make fun of the games and players before I even tried one.  In 2005 I got around to playing one.  It wasn't as bad as I thought, but I still haven't played one since.  The cutesy, almost childish nature of the fans then completely turned me off of the games.  Now the fans are a little older they seem better, I'll probably try a more recent version someday.  But there's way to many FF and turn based strategy to play.  I haven't even finished LOZ Windwaker, yet.

Davideo7 : Thanks for the offer.  I subscribed to both channels as Animal7Machine .  The Mario vs. Spartan 2 video was pretty good.

For me it come down to FF, Zelda, and Mario.

All are great, but FF lost me at FFX.  I didn't mind it but it's not up to par with 7-9.

Zelda came real close, great games with no weak titles I've played.

But Mario owned 2-D, and defined the 3-D platformer (64).  Mario took risks (Sunshine ), and the last mario game I played floored me.  Super Paper Mario was one of the most well rounded Nintendo games ever.

Thanks for the support everyone.  Glad I'm not the only one that cares about spelling without being a turd about it.

Have to say I do like that sig, with Paper Mario, and bad Luigi.  Looking forward to chatting with people that like the same type of games.  Good luck all, I'll find my niche then watch out if you value your scores .  Kidding, some.

I would have to say the ending of Mass Effect.  Bioware redefined what a game could be with that one.  3rd person shooter, rpg, amazing story without relying on long cutscenes.

Number 2, Aeris death in FF VII.  I may be clichéd, but that far into a great game you didn't see that kind of plot twist in those days.
There's way too many Hell Ya! moments over the years for me to remember which of them might be my favorite.

I do love the snes.

But I owned a Genesis.

Better sound, great games, willing to let some Japanese craziness through to N. America in the form of really great games.  The only bad thing I can say about the Genesis was the direction pad, it kind of sucked.
But Eternal Champions, Dune, Shadowrun, NHL 94, were all great or superior games.  The game gear was the greatest portable ever, until the DS.  And the Dreamcast was very underrated, unfortunately.  Otherwise there might be a Sega console today.

Thanks Jaws, I'm not quite there yet.  Haven't had a smoke in 2 weeks, and it still gets to me.  But I promised myself I wouldn't have a smoke ever again.  Seems like smokers are smoking more and more these days.  16 years, half a pack a day was enough.  I went from half a pack to a pack a day.  I'm not going to let it control me anymore.

I am a big fan of retro games.  Most I have played when I was younger (for better or worse).  Many of the great GBA games I've played as well.  I've owned most every system, and play all genres.

Lately I've been trying to quit smoking after 16yrs. and I have been looking for distractions, other than my usual gaming.  Reddit was interesting, but the community is a little too mainstream/handicapped to become active in, lol.  A friend directed me to this site, and I haven't been disappointed yet.  Seriously, Aerobiz (snes), Black Tiger (arcade), NES, SNES, Genesis, TG16, GBA, N64, all in one place!

I can see myself using this site a lot.  So here I am.  I'm a noob here, but I'm sure that I can find ways to contribute .
Most questions I have, get figured out on my own.  But can anyone tell me if it's too late for my friend to get credit for directing me here?  I doubt it much matters to him, but someday he might want the Vizz.  (Double dragon, Bad dudes, Wrestlefest could change that with MP goodness).

Thanks for reading.
