Enter Tragedy by In Flames, just learned the guitar parts to it. Its a cool song to play and has some neat riffs but there's much better In Flames songs out there as I am sure most In Flames fans would agree

That stupid gangnam style song. I'm not really sure how it made such a hit other than the dude doing the horse dance in the video. That seemed to spark a world of hilarity and then BAM! The song plays non-stop everywhere. I was most saddened when I was standing in line at Best Buy to have my laptop looked at by Geek Squad. As I stand in line already frustrated at my defected 2 day old laptop Gangnam Style starts playing over the speakers and my day just got worse....

alexanyways : You freakin rule! Shambhala 2012 is amazing, especially if you're just getting into dubstep. It's a great mix that shows off a lot of the variety dubstep has to offer.

I'm a huge fan of Excision and am currently listing to the Excision remix of Alpha Centauri by Noisia. It's got one of the sickest drops and is a great party song. If you're skeptical about dubstep, or have heard a lot of the less professional stuff that seems to be turning a lot of people away, then you should definitely look into some of Excision's work, especially his mixes with Datsik and Skism

Right now I'm listening to White Trash Beautiful by Everlast, I love this song because it totally reminds me of some really good memories, as depressing of a song as it is

I too am in a position where I cannot see the person who means the most to me. A little over 3 years ago my best friend at the time had introduced me to her friend from California. I instantly fell for this girl, I'm not sure how or why but I just knew this girl is who I wanted to be with. So we started talking for a while and got to know each other pretty well over the course of 6 months or so. She calls me one day and says she wants to talk about something (I have a prepay plan where I have unlimited texting but very few talking minutes and so I usually saved the talking minutes for a phone call at the end of the month so it was odd that she called to talk). She said she wanted me to promise something...She wanted me to promise her that I wouldn't fall in love with her. She knew just as much as I did that I wouldn't be able to move to California for a few years and didn't want that to drive us apart. After tearing myself apart inside I promised her. We kept talking from then on for about a year and we were closer than ever but I still hadn't told her I loved her. Even though she made me promise not to fall in love she broke down and poured her heart out to me about how much she loves me and can't stand the fact that I'm not there. I keep my promises though and so I held my feelings in. This ended up pushing her away for a bit and she said she wanted to see other people. She started dating someone and it broke my heart. I never told her this though as it would have broken my promise. I started dating someone else a few months after and then my girl from California starts texting me again about how unhappy she is and has come to realize a lot over the past couple months. My new relationship really wasn't going anywhere and I had lost the feelings for her unfortunately and so I broke up with her and began to repair my relationship with my girl from Cali. After hearing all about everything that had gone on in her life over the past few months she finally apologized for making the mistake of walking away. I told her it wasn't really her fault. I felt it was more-so my fault for not explaining how I felt when she was opening up emotionally. But I told her I didn't because I didn't want to break my promise to her as I still have like 2 more years before I move down there. She apologized again because she didn't realize it was that, she really thought I had lost my feelings for her. That's when I told her I loved her. We made up and talked a bit more and are back on track together and happier than ever. Its been over 3 years since I met this girl and I still plan on moving down to California as soon as I can so I can be with her. Long distance relationships are very though sometimes, especially since its so hard to keep an intimate and sexual relationship, but if you truly love that person then it very well may be worth it to stick with them and find out. Best of luck to all of you out there who are having trouble, I hope my story can help you out a little bit.

Anything by the plain white t's.....I absolutely cannot stand them. I feel they are a disgrace to music and should not be allowed to be publicly aired. I am sorry to anyone who enjoys them, I respect your choice to listen to music but that does no mean I respect the artist.

Thank you guys very much. I do agree completely that it should have been organized a bit more. I was kind of just remembering and typing away and didn't rethink to categorize, but I'm glad you enjoyed it. I hope to be writing a few more reviews soon and hopefully those will be a little bit better

I personally absolutely love dubstep. That is not to say I love all dubstep. There is a lot of bad stuff out there from people who thought they could be good artists because they thought electronica music was easy to create so they downloaded fruity-loops or ableton and made repetitive, choppy electronic noise. However, there are many artists out there who excel at creating a music sensation. Because dubstep is essentially all electronic, it has an infinite amount of possible ways to be manipulated. This being said, every song is always different. There's no clear-cut direction that dubstep can go in. We had a huge flux of the super deep drop from skrillex, then the wub bass came in, then there was the wobble bass phase, then a bit of techno came back in the game which then switched into house and club music. I mean it is constantly changing and growing and is actually kind of exciting. This is where music in general is dipping into because of the power and variety dubstep contains and has brought out. If you haven't found anything specific you like try just listening to a broad dubstep channel on Pandora, Songza, or Slacker and just check out the variety before you throw the idea of listening to dubstep away. There's almost certainly something you will like with the amount of growing and developing dubstep has done over just the last 5 years or so. It's pretty amazing actually, so give it a chance.

I don't want to say that I necessarily find it sexy but I do tend to be more attracted to smokers. I don't really think it looks all that great but my girlfriend said that the reason she first came up and talked to me was because I looked sexy leaning against the wall and smoking. I thought that was just her talking me up but she swears that is the reason. So idk, maybe it looks good to some but I'm not sure why.

P.S.--If you don't smoke please don't ever start. It's a terrible habit and not really worth the damage. Stay away from cigarettes

Right now I have Grace by Lamb of God going on. This is such a great song. Metal fan or not it is quite literally a gracefully written song. If you don't like metal singers then try to listen past it and hear the music. I play guitar and decided to learn it and it is so technical and rhythmic, you should give it a chance.

P.S.--This thread is awesome! So many of you listen to such great music and I have definitely restored my music library thanks to you guys after my cd collection got destroyed.

Wow...just wow. This game is still my favorite game of all time. I remember back in the day being so excited to wake up and start the N64 and hear Epona galloping as the title appeared on my tv. I haven't touched an N64 in years and to actually be able to play my favorite video game again is amazing. Getting used to using the keyboard for controls takes a little time so don't get too frustrated if it is not working out for you right off the bat. Just take some time to explore and get used to the feel of the keyboard and position the controls the way you want. By double-clicking the screen and customizing the controls to what you are most comfortable with will make a huge difference. Once you are comfortable with what you have chosen the controls become much smoother. The graphics are still amazing for what the N64 could put out. I remember being pretty astonished when I first saw a 3-D link. The background music is still very calming in the beauty of viewing the lake and exciting when in heated battle. Although....that music in the town during the day as young link is the reason I give sound a 9, I honestly can't stand it :p   The story is still as captivating and emotion inspiring as ever. It was kind of embarrassing when I yelled NO! in the middle of my computer programming class because Ganondorf took Zelda away but hey, it's just that good of a game. For an N64 game this title is very in depth as well. There are so many things to do and retrieve that it not only adds to the replay value and easy addiction but everything you gain adds some kind of benefit to the rest of your play-through. It is well worth the time to go searching for heart containers and gold skultulas not just to collect them but because you are essentially guaranteed to stumble on some kind of secret place or get a new item or at the very least a decent amount of rupees. The game is not extremely difficult by any means but it does make you think at times. Many of the puzzles will have something that stands out or is given away so that the solution does not take hours to figure out. But if the subtle hints that are given are overlooked then you might very well be in a position where you feel stuck. Do not give up though as there is always a solution. Overall this game is a 10 for me. Everything about it (except that town music...grr) is absolutely amazing to me. Even after almost a decade of not touching this game I felt the same inspiration and emotion this game sparked in me as a child when I began to play it here. There is no reason to not give this game a chance just once. There's no doubt you will like it
