I'll admit, I swear regularly in my day to day speech, be it because I'm angry or I'm jokeful. Even though I swear most when I'm angry I try not to drop the f-bomb too much as really even when I'm angry I don't see the point. Still, there is one point in time where I don't swear, and that is when I'm serious about something.

See, the thing about swearing is that if you do it in a tense/serious situation you've instantly pulled up the level of aggression in the situation simply by using a word, and it's really not worth it. Actually it's completely counter productive as the person you're talking to will just oppose what you say even more because they feel that you come across in an offensive manner.

There is a time and place for everything, and while you don't have to swear to be funny, a lot of people like using it for comedic effect, just like some people feel like a joke is ruined if the person who makes it feels the need to swear. You also don't need to swear just because you're angry, but some people just find it easier to calm down if they get to swear a bit, others wouldn't dream of swearing even when angry.

But in the end, that's what makes us human, we don't think the same about everything.

The only place I really don't think anyone should swear, EVER, is around children.

I've been around and part of the Sonic community for a long time. I loved the 2D games as a kid, and when Adventure 1 and 2 were released I played both games so much that I simply have no idea how many hours they consumed of my time. Then came Sonic Heroes, which I thought was a pretty fun game at the start, but I also knew that I didn't like it anywhere near as much as the Adventure games. Team Dark and their ridiculously long stages was one of the reasons for that.

Still, I see a lot of fans complaining about the direction that Sonic is going into, and often it's the same tune being played over again. "Go back to 2D! Go back to 2D! Go back to 2D!", but they already have created several games that are 2D, most of them for handhelds, but they're still there. Fact of the matter is that games like Generations is the closets we'll ever get to SEGA bringing Sonic back to 2D, and they did go a great job with it, but they also had a theme which made most fans go into a nostalgia induced fit of joy.

Sonic is evolving, and SEGA seems to try to find a new formula that fits him and is fun, which I think is ridiculous because they had a winning formula in Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, and yet ... that is simply my opinion, just like how every other fan that says "Bring it back to 2D! You're ruining Sonic!" is also just stating their opinion.

I would like to see Sonic become more populare again and I would love to see the franchize regain some more of it's dignity, but sadly I think that Generations might of arrived just a little bit too late. I hope I'm wrong and that SEGA really aren't beating a dead horse, but ever since Shadow the Hedgehog (the game) I've just been getting more and more disappointed in them.

I would be excited, if I had a 3DS. I loved the original, it was one of my favourite games for the Game Cube and I played through it several times over. So, when I heard that they were releasing Luigi's Mansion 2 I got so happy and so excited ... but then they said that it's for the 3DS and my excitement plummeted like a rock in water.

See, I already have a DS XL and personally don't care for the 3D malarkey, not to mention that 3DS came close to being a flop. So I really wish they'd released it to the Wii, or at least made it possible to play on a DS that doesn't have 3D. I get that it's a good business move to put it on the 3DS, because a lot of fans have been waiting for a sequel to Luigi's Mansion, so it will make getting a 3DS seem more appealing, but it still doesn't mean I like it.

So, yeah, I was excited, but now I'm mainly disappointed because I don't think I'll actually get to play Luigi's Mansion 2.

The first Final Fantasy game I ever played was Final Fantasy VII, but I never finished it. I was very young at the time and didn't have a good understanding of English (not to mention Dyslexic, so that made reading and understanding everything even harder), so I just got confused and bored, even if the aesthetics, characters and music appealed to me.

Final Fantasy X was the first Final Fantasy game that I played and finished. I enjoyed the experience and have since played Final Fantasy VII and VI. I want to play more, and have my eyes set on IX next.

That's about it.

I've not really played any of the hand-held Mario Kart games, so for me it's really between the console versions.

My favourite is Mario Kart: Double Dash, out of the ones that I've played. The reason is that I like it the most is because I really liked the idea of two people on one kart, one driving and the other controlling the items. In all other Mario Kart games you're also only able to do the Grand Prix with two players, but in Double Dash you could  be four, because you'd be 2 on each of the 2 karts that you have at your disposal.

It just introduced a new level of cooperation into the Mario Kart games, and what better, you weren't forced to tag-team on the karts, and you weren't gimped if you went alone either.

That said, I remember both Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64 very fondly from when I was a kid, and I like playing both of them from time to time again.

This is a tough question, because I love all bosses for several reasons.

My favourite boss would have to be Twinrova though, when I was younger I liked the boss so much that I have a save file at the point after I had cleared the Spirit temple, but before I had done the boss, simply so that I could fight them whenever I wanted.

My favourite Mini Boss is probably the Four Poe Sisters from Forest Temple.

So, I was referred by a friend of mine, Kansuto, who found this site and was really impressed by the amount of games available here. I, too, love playing old school games now and again, and having them all gathered in one place is so convenient that I just couldn't resist joining too.

I'm a creative freak who loves role playing just a bit too much to be completely healthy. And gaming-wise I like adventure games, RPGs and platformers. I also prefer multi-player to singleplayer.

I personally don't think I'm too great at introducing myself, so I hope I've done an okay job. If anyone is interested in chatting or something just throw me a PM. =]
