Today, I found out someone stole my book, and I'm probably not getting it back D:
(Don't know who did it, but know it was taken.)

Also, I'm currently waiting in school because of this, waiting for photocopies of the book from my teacher.

Aside from that, nothing has really happened.

Well, considering that I'm not going to waste my time in the Spam forum, I should be fine.

Most of the posts should be about 100~300 words-ish.
Like I said, it's just the way I plan on posting them.
(In short, all 675 at once.)

Well... There's nothing higher than Vizzed, as far as I know
The only thing I'm really worried about is the way I plan on delivering the 875 posts.
I'm afraid the staff might think I'm spamming xD

Okay, so I've watched 2 full Let's Plays, All of the Endings, and have not yet bought the game.

Now, as there isn't too much reason for me to buy the game,
(I stupidly watch before buying, then feel bored because I know what'll happen.)
I still think other people should play this game.
If you don't have a PS3 or don't have the money, get a few bags of popcorn and watch it.
The entire game is REALLY LONG, as the person I watched had 49 and 60 10 minute segments.
As you might be able to tell, unless you're an avid gamer, this is not a game you can beat in one sitting.

PLOT OF THE GAME -
You play as four different characters throughout the game, switching after specific parts.
The main character of the game is Ethan, a divorced man who's second son is taken by the 'origami killer' (Or Ory-gam-e in the game) when he has a blackout, and he has to go through five different trials to save his son.

The other characters consist of Scott, a detective hired by the families of the victims of the Origami Killer,
Norman Jayden, An FBI agent on the case of the Origami Killer,
and Madison, an insomniac/journalist Ethan meets while on the run (who helps him)

Quite basically, you need to find evidence/clues on who the killer is, and you need to help Ethan save his second son.

If someone gets killed, the game continues, as there is no true game over in the game.
If I remember right, Ethan and Scott can't be killed until the end of the game, but every single character can be killed (even all in the same playthrough).

There's a lot of different endings, but most of them are variations on the main endings.
Endings are affected by gameplay, who dies and doesn't, and if you screw up badly.

It's a really good game xD

So... Recently, Quantic Dream released an interactive... Drama? Story?
Something. Well, the game is called Heavy Rain.

I've been looking at it and 've been watching a few LP's of the game.
The game plays similar to Indigo Prophecy, which is also known as Fahrenheit, and when I mean similar, I mean REALLY similar.
Like... When you are talking to someone, you can do different things which affect an outcome of a situation.

For example. there's a specific scene where someone attempts to rob a store, and depending on what you say will either get you shot, make him leave peacefully, or make you have to knock him out.

I'll explain a bit more later, but I don't really want to spoil much.
So... what's everyone's thoughts on the game?

Roar.

I'm on Vacation this entire week, and was unfortunately unable to spend Valentine's day with the girl that I liked, since I'm not at home.

So, I sent her a message saying "Happy Valentine's Day," and basically telling her that I owed her.
...I have a feeling I'm going to have a lot to do when I get home.

Anyways, I spent Valentine's day watching a play at the palace theater in SC.
It was my cousin's birthday recently and they were going to see Hairspray, but her family member got sick, and they asked if I wanted to come along.

It was a great play. The costumes were great and the props were awesome.
Only complaint I'd have is that some of the singers were off-pitch or too high-pitched during the songs.

All in all though, it was definately worth watching.

I hate it when I have to repeat myself 5 times before people understand what I'm saying.
I'm speaking loud and clear, so why don't you just listen instead of having me scream at you?

Also, when people repeat themselves to me (continuously, not over periods of time.)
I heard you the first time.

Eh, I'd apply for the position, but I am no longer as active as I used to be.
Either way, I think I have a couple of strikes against me >.o;;

Good luck to anyone who applies.
I can't really say who deserves it more because I don't know most of you.

My goals are to:
- Figure out plans for the future
- Decide what I'm interested in (college and course-wise.)
- Be more organized
- Lose a lot of weight
- Start a game project (even if it's just making a story)
- Make a few youtube videos
- Get above 85 for a yearly grade for every class (I'm about 80 right now...)

So, any of you remember that old Dot Hack game released back in 2002 or so for PS2?
You know, that 4-game series that revolved around a fake MMORPG called {The World} ?
...Surely you've heard of it or seen it, the copies of it still exist in virtually any gamestore!

Well... Maybe you've heard of the sequel to it, .Hack//G.U., as it came out recently?
3 part game series, revolving around the new version of {The World}?
Still awesome. No? Haven't heard of it?

Well, MAYBE you've heard of one of the TV series?
.Hack//SIGN, which followed Tsukasa, a player who couldn't log out?
.Hack//Legend of the Twilight, which followed Shugo and Reyna; Chibis of the original characters?
Maybe even .Hack//Roots, which was the Prequel to the GU series, following Haseo, the main character of GU?

STILL NOTHING?
/Facepalm.

Okay, If at this point you don't know what I'm talking about, Get out.
No, seriously, get out. Watch a series, play a game, or read one of the books.

Because, this... (Is supposedly) THE BIG FINALE.

Dot Hack Link is the newest addition to the Dot Hack series, supposedly being the last game of the entire series, and Uses a lot of the game's past characters to tie the entire thing together.

The story... Is not in this game. Yet.
Supposedly, if I remember right, The game revolves around a young Tokio (New character) who is sucked into the game because he is the chosen one (or something among those lines, I haven't read the translated manga in a while,) and basically causes Kite (The main character in the original series) to get trapped in an icicle.

BECAUSE OF THIS, Tokio has to go out, collect all of his friend's 'cores' and stop the evil gang of... ANYWAYS, it's a decent demo, and the full version may come to america, which is probably why I made the gigantic intro.

Please note, If you want to play this demo, You need a PSP.
Also, the entire demo is in Japanese, but it's not necessary to read if you figure the buttons out, which you can kind of get from the tutorial.

The game is basically a 3D Dungeon-Crawling RPG which runs really well on the PSP.
It's definately worth a try :3

Anyways, the download is here:
http://playable01.bandainamcogames.co.jp/hack/hack_trial.zip
(NOTE: Extract the 'PSP' folder to your 'PSP' folder. It isn't regionally locked.)

The demo contains the tutorial level with Kite and 3 levels with 2 other characters.

I'm looking forward to the game's full release, as it is coming out in Japan in March, and the Manga for LINK will be coming out in June to America.
Eventually, an anime series will be coming out as well.

TLR version - Game has large series. Demo is Japanese. DOWNLOAD NAO.

Oh, and when you're done, post thoughts, things, and what you need help with.

It just sounds strange for some reason.

Well, since you asked, here's my opinion on the wii.

It seems like a letdown.

The controllers seem broken, having really horrible sensativity,
There are virtually NO games I want to get (Excluding internet, since I have none.)
I have a total of about 7 games for it, (1 came with the wii, and the other was wii play.)
I don't see a bright future for the wii unless they turn their failboat in the right direction.

Truthfully, I think the motion controllers were a good idea, but it was a horrible idea to base a console off of it.

I'd state why for all of my opinions, but you pretty much covered it already.

[Oh, I will say that the idea of transferring data from a DS game to a Wii game is pretty good
(Animal Crossing WW / Animal Crossing CF.) They should play on this a little bit more.]

[Oh, I will say that the idea of transferring data from a DS game to a Wii game is pretty good
(Animal Crossing WW / Animal Crossing CF.) They should play on this a little bit more.]

Hmm... Back before I played anything from the horror genre, I always watched others play some games. ...Okay, A LOT of horror games.

I don't remember anything from before PSX, so most of these people might know.

PSX -

Resident Evil - Heck, I think almost everything about this game creeped me out when I was a kid. (Though, RE II and RE3 didn't really scare me.)

Silent Hill - Static, darkness, then OHMYFNGGAWDMONSTER.
Some of the monsters really bugged me in this game. (SH2.... not so much.)

Parasite Eve - I don't remember why, but I watched my dad play a little bit of this game, and never watched him play it again, cause it scared me.

Parasite Eve II - This is when I started growing used to horror games. It had its moments, but not so much when I played it again.

Clock Tower - I'm now afraid of people with scissors and closets.

PS2 -

Resident Evil Code Verionica - Yeah, I remember this game. I remember getting scared by this game. I don't remember it that much. Good times... Gooood times.

Silent Hill 3 - So... I'm now afraid of Rabbits, Dark Hallways, Rooms with mirrors, and carousels. FUNFUNFUN.

Fatal Frame - It had a scary atmosphere and it had ghosts popping out of effing nowhere to scare the sh-t out of you. I thought it was scary.

Resident Evil: Outbreak - I will not play anything Past the first level.
Resident Evil: Outbreak File #2- I will not play anything Past the first level.

X360 -
Dead Rising - Only the nighttime Zombies, and when people on your team died.

I know there's a lot more (for PSX only), but those are all I remember.
I haven't found any good 360 horror games as of late.

Also, most of my votes are affected by BEFORE I left
