Granted, it gets a quick heal, but in a week's time it ends up blowing up in your face and setting fire to all around it.

I wish level grinding wasn't so tedious.

Oh big deal, if Squall Leonhart can deal with Jumbo Cactuar, I can deal with this...OK, maybe not.

I through 20 dirty football jerseys on the user below me. The team just lost.

Video games often use terminology which was invented by the developers, i.e., fictional words which you won't find in a normal dictionary. For example, Skyrim, where you here the Thu'um. It kinda takes you out of it when you can't understand things like that. Seeing it written can really help.

Another thing is that with handheld consoles that have voice acting (like the PSP), it can be pretty hard to hear the characters and you miss half the story. The reason for that would be due to inferior sound technology seen in handheld systems and also, you may have a lot of noise and distractions around you. Being able to read the characters dialogue helps there too. I wonder if I'm the only guy who thinks this? I've never heard other people say so.

And finally, if a game has absolutely terrible sound and voice acting, it can be hard to hear, nor would you want to hear it. Sure, ya can crank up the volume...if ya want a headache. Subtitles always come in handy for those things. I wish Blood Omen had them. Couldn't hear a word in that game...nothing wrong with the voice acting, but the music and effects just obscured the voices.

For me, it was Super Mario Galaxy (saying 'was', 'cause I don't really play Mario games anymore). It had a good way of sucking you into it.

I beat it when I was like 12 or 13, getting only the minimum number of stars to beat the game. Of course, after the game it encourages you to get the remaining stars (which for me, was an additional 59) and I knew that
Spoiler:
you'd unlock Luigi if you got every star
, but to my young mind it wasn't worth it. Then later, when I was in my mid-teens, I went back to play the game and I figured if I put my mind to it, then doing every level didn't seem like much of a chore. So I played through every level, getting every star and I was slowly enjoying it more and more. I wonder if that was Nintendo's intention? To get you hooked through all the playing. Then, when I finally unlocked
Spoiler:
Luigi
, I felt pretty happy. Got a good sense of achievement. And then,
Spoiler:
because I figured it would've been a waste of time to put so much effort into unlocking Luigi and not even using him, I decided to play through the whole game again (playing through every level) as Luigi, for a maximum of 242 Power Stars

So because I put so much time and effort into and ( more importantly, I enjoyed the time and effort), I felt a real connection with Super Mario Galaxy, and I feel like it's my favourite. Never played the sequel, even though I've heard good things about it.

I love physical copies of games. Collecting them, having the cases and everything inside is kind of just as fun as playing the game (if it's a bad game...then it's more fun). I love to line a shelf with my favourite games, and organise them in a fashion that I'd be able to find what I'm looking for easily. I did woodwork in school, and so, I've actually made a couple of wooden artefacts to allow me to both display and move my games easily. Physical copies cost more (usually) but personally, I think it's worth it. PS1 cases are pretty cool in my opinion. I've always loved the glass cases, with the cool shape, spine and blurb. Only problem is they were easily damaged, but it's really cool to find legit cases these days that are in pretty good shape. And there's always the joy from the old days...of changing the game's disc For anyone who has played Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII or any game that has been on multiple discs, you'll know what it's like to see the "Disc Change" screen, where we all get a feeling of accomplishment for coming far in the game. Then we eject the disc, pop it back in the case, and take out the next disc. Of course, this also meant that if we lost or ruined a disc, there'd be parts of the game that we would have no access to, so it wasn't always such a good thing. As discs can get damaged, stolen or lost like that, they had their disadvantages. I emulate games sometimes, but only if I can't play my disc. For the most part, I love discs. Gotta collect them all. Something's gotta make my shelves look pretty.

Well, before I came on Vizzed, I was actually admiring my collection of video games. Just strolling around, taking a couple of them off of the shelf, and reminiscing. I thought "Wow, every game's got a story behind it", as I then took game after game down from the shelf and recounted of how I got it, what was going on at the time, the fun (or lack thereof) I had playing it, and everything else I could remember that was associated with the game. Then I thought "Let's not study and instead, I should go online to vizzed to talk about and play games. I'll do fine in these exams!"

Mine is the PS1. I grew up with it. Loved it to pieces. The only problem was that I didn't have very many games for it as a kid. That's why I'm now making up for it as an adult. Buying me some games that I never played as a kid and adding them to my PS1 collection. Good thing I did. I would have never played Metal Gear Solid or Final Fantasy VII had I not decided to try some of the most recommended PS1 games of all time.I love the PS1 cases. The glass, the black spine, the cover, the blurb; I think it all looks great ad really enhances a shelf, or display case.

Ironically, I've been making these posts so that I can rack up some Viz to play PS1 games on here ^-^'

If someone here was a criminal...? Well, we're a friendly site right? That was emphasized when we all signed up. We should stick together...we're all one family. All brothers in Vizzed.

I'm big into music, but my taste is...COMPLETELY...different to pretty much everyone I know. Even online, I can find people who like some of the songs I like, but they'll dislike others. I'm sure everyone's taste is unique but mine is...beyond unique.

So because I like such various and unusual songs, I listen to them on my laptop (usually on YouTube),  because  there's no way I'd be able to get them all in one place with CD's or even on an iPod (which I don't even own). This way's just easier.

I've been depressed countless times. Never over anything small, it's always been a matter that has really struck me and come as a crushing blow.

Sometimes, there's just nothing I can do. I try to do things to cheer myself up but the happiness I used to be able to find in them just isn't there anymore. I try to find new things to make me happy then, but I can't find anything. At 14, I became a cutter and didn't stop cutting until I was 17. I never tried to kill myself, but there have been times when I was tempted. School never helped. I hated so many people at my school. I used to stay out of trouble, but teachers still yelled and screamed at me. And why? Because they were yelling and screaming at everyone in the class. Blanket punishment, I never did anything. How come I had to share in the punishment of other people? I wasn't the only innocent one either. Other people had to listen and put up with gratuitous intimidation from teachers. I was always so introverted that I acted as if I was unfazed by it all, but inside I was not liking it at all. I was depressed. My "friends" were no help to me. They were always stereotyping me as some depressed emo scumbag who loves blood. They even gave me a hard time for how I dressed...yeah, how I dressed! I wore a scarf and they didn't like it. Yeah, that's it. Just a scarf. Why couldn't they have just let me wear it and be happy? That was apparently too much to ask for. They'd pull it, yank it, throw stuff into it, and one time a guy even tried to strangle me with it! Grabbed the scarf from behind and yanked it upwards while I choked on it. What angers me the most is that he didn't even care that he had done something so wrong... (no wonder his father left him). I yelled at him "That was the equivalent of being hung with a noose!" as I gasped for air, and of course he just had to give a smart aleck answer "If it was a noose, you'd be dead". If he had any brains, he'd know that a noose very rarely kills instantly...so yeah, how can I even call them friends? So blunt, narrow-minded and judgmental. Had they walked a mile in my shoes, I don't think they would have been so quick to judge me. I also struggled with relationships. I only ever had one girlfriend, who left me, and I always failed to start a relationship with any girl I became close to.

So yeah, I've had a lot of depression in my life. At least I was able to poke a little fun at it...

Being completely honest with you, I don't care and as such, I probably wouldn't even tell them, Hell, I'd probably go off and get married unbeknownst to them.

The reason is because they tend to make a big deal out of these things and I hate it when so much attention is drawn towards me. So I guess to answer the question, they'd probably make a big deal out of it. Things like "My son is all grown up now" "You make sure you take care of her" "Don't forget to write". They'd be making a complete drama over a relationship which may not even work out That, and they'd be giving me all the advice that parents would give their son about looking after a girl and treating her with respect, but that is completely redundant because I already know the importance of looking after one another and treating each other with the respect they deserve, That'd just really annoy me if they tried to educate me in that field. My parents don't know me at all. They don't know that I'm already okay with things like this...

Seriously, they'd be talking to me and I'd be facepalming while saying "I know, I know, I %&#@*£^ know!"

When I first signed up for dA, four years ago, the sign up screen had a space for your username which had already been filled in with "yournamehere". I had a real sense of humour back then, and actually wanted to use "yournamehere" as my username...but it was taken ' So I just changed it slightly, adding in some internet slang too just to make it personal to myself.

So many people wanna wrap a Furret around their neck, 'cause it's "so cuuuuute". Puh-lease. First off, I don't think Furret's cute. Second, Furret is 5'11". They don't call it the Long Body Pokémon as a joke...5'11". Furret is as tall as I am. Can you imagine wrapping something that long around your neck...? I'll keep my scarf, thank you. Also, it's obviously  lackluster  in stats as it's simply a Rattata clone. Furret's highest stat is its speed stat, which is 90. That's not even that good, and its stats get worse from there. Never catch a normal type on the first route of the game unless it's just an HM slave...

Next Pokémon to hate on is Munchlax.

One that I think is really cool is Nincada's evolution. In Generation I, Eevee was the only Pokémon to have multiple evolutions. As the generations moved on, other Pokémon were also given the option of which form they could take upon evolution. However, Nincada is the only Pokémon that evolves into BOTH of its possible evolutions. Upon evolution, it becomes to Pokémon.

Ninjask, which is one of my favourite Pokémon, is one of the fastest Pokémon of them all, only beaten by a Speed Forme Deoxys. Its drawback is that it's pretty frail and can be easily KO'd. This is the first reason as to why Ninjask is an interested part of the evolution. Whereas Nincada was slow and tough, Ninjask is obscenely fast and frail. Nincada has a Defense stat of 90 and a Speed stat of 40. Ninjask has a Defense stat of 45 and a Speed stat of 160. This means that, upon evolution, Nincada's defense stat is cut in half, and its speed stat is  quadrupled. Quadrupled.

As well as that, if you have an additional slot in your party (and in later generations, a spare PokéBall) you will also receive a Shedinja upon Nincada's evolution. Shedinja is a well known Pokémon, as it only ever has 1 HP. Also, it is the only Pokémon to don the ability Wonder Guard, which renders Shedinja immune to any and all attacks, sans attacks that are super effective against it. That means that if a Shedinja is hit once, it faints (try using that in a Nuzlocke) but, with its unique typing of Bug-Ghost, Wonder Guard makes it so that it can only be hit with Fire, Rock, Flying, Dark and Ghost moves. Shedinja is the only Pokémon in existence to use a completely different formula to other Pokémon to calculate its stats. It has an HP stat of 1, however, this stat is completely irrelevant and its HP is calculated using an independent formula that makes its HP always 1, regardless of its Level, EVs, etc.

Which is why I believe Nincada's evolution is the most interesting to me.
