Hey guys so when I try to configure my controls for any game boy advance game, the number 5 pops up and it won't let me change it to anything else. For instance if I was trying to configure up on the Dpad, it will flash Joy 1 Up for just like a split second, but then immediately switch back to the number 5. I'm using a PS3 controller. Any suggestions?

Edit: I should probably add that I use the motionjoy software and have used my ps3 controller on different consoles in the past with no problems. Just played some nes games with it and it's working just fine. So something is going on with the GBA customization options.

Also, apologies if this is in the wrong sub-forum. I put it in help but I now see that there's a control sub-forum.

No with Mupen64 it doesn't even allow you to open up controller options period. I'm using the 1964 emulator and as stated before, in the controller configuration setup, it recognizes I am using motion joy software however it won't allow me to set  any inputs using the controller so basically I can't get any controls working like I want them to be.

I use a PS3 control for gaming on vizzed  via motioninjoy software and everything has worked fine so far when I was using it for NES or SNES games. However I tried to use it for N64 games and while the control is recognized, it doesn't allow me to customize my controls at all. Every time I click an input such as "up" on the d-pad for example, an in put of k_e shows up and nothing happens when I try to use my controller to set the keys. The same thing happens for any button command I try.

Any solution possible for this issue? Thanks for any help received.

Hey guys just wanted to let you know when you try to play Ninja Gaiden for the Sega Master System, the Sega Game Gear version loads. Only reason I know is because I beat the game gear one immediately before trying the master system version. Also you can see the game that loads up looks completely different than in the pictures. Just wanted to bring it to your attention.

Description tells most of the story. Basically I can't get any Genesis game to work. The games load up fine, I can hear the audio playing, but the screen is just black.  I tested this out with about 5 games in a row. Every other system works for me with no problems whatsoever. Any suggestions or is anyone else having this problem?

Was wondering if Castlevania: Rondo of Blood could be added. It was released on the PC Engine, which is the Japanese version of the TurboGrafx-16. Since we have the TurboGrafx would it be possible to add this game, or would it have to be only on the PC Engine?

Stevie 764 : The issue you are experiencing is completely different from mine. I don't understand why you post it as a reply to my thread...perhaps you should open a thread of your own for the problems you are dealing with. Cheers

I discovered yesterday that I'm unable to properly play any of the snes games since I updated to the new version of RGR 1.5. This is the error message I receive: IDirectDraw7::CreateSurfacefailed. You should update your video card drivers. Alternatively, you could use a 16-bit desktop or use a non-D mode. After I click ok the game continues to start except that its crunched in size and plays only on the left side of the RGR screen. It's very compressed and maybe only takes up about a quarter of the screen, leaving the rest black where the game would normally be. Since the error message mentioned something about 16-bits, I tested the genesis games but they all work fine. In fact every system works fine for me from the n64 down to Atari. The only one giving me this error message is with the snes and it's doing this for every game I try to play. I don't see how the error message could be accurately describing the problem, because I have played many snes games in the past with no issues whatsoever. The only thing that I can think of that has changed recently is my updated RGR plugin. Thanks for your time and any help would be greatly appreciated
