I'm wondering about the different tastes in guitars of the people of Vizzed.
You don't have to play guitar (although it helps you know what's what), just comment on what you like or what looks cool.
It can be about any part of a guitar (pickups, bridges, etc.)

I personally like Ibanez guitars, especially with a Floyd Rose or Edge III bridge. Preferably with some crazy color or design (I love Daron Malakian's Iceman design!).

@ Clayton 2: Your music is cool and has an interesting flare to it. Keep it up!

@ Juliet: What exactly makes yours cheesy? And what do you play?

Adjective
# intend Intending to harm; malevolent.
# morally Morally corrupt.
# Unpleasant.
Noun
# The forces/behaviors that are the opposite or enemy of good. Evil generally seeks own benefit at the expense of others and is based on general malevolence.
# Any particular individual or state which may follow these forces or behaviors.

That's technically the definition of evil (yes, copy and paste).
I agree that evil is in the eye of the beholder. Society has thrust upon us what is considered to be nice and perfect and if you don't follow the status quo you're labeled as some form of evil. We don't know if some of the things we're doing now was considered evil years and decades ago. Even if we accept what is considered good, we all have evil inside of us. We are evil in a sense. We will never be rid of it. If we somehow erase all traces of evil from us, we cease to be human. We become something that is only positive and we lose our reasoning power. We would become mindless because with no evil, we can't deduce evil. Everything would become void and useless.

Well I have some stuff that I guess would be considered hobbies.

I mainly love to play guitar (many, many genres) and I write music for it.

I also write regular music (like sheet music). Currently I'm working on a string quartet.

I like to draw even though I don't think I'm very good. I mostly do caricatures of people (famous or not) but I have to have seen them quite a few times.

I like to write stories (fiction) that are mainly fantasy based but I do love doing mystery or something psychological.

I'm also writing a script for a manga. I can't draw manga so I'm writing down the script so my coz or someone else can draw it out for me. It's a big collaboration. It's a Slice of Life and Comedy with some Romance in it.

I play lots of other instruments like the bass guitar, ukulele, oboe, and piano.

I love to sing my head off too (to the point it annoys others around me). I especially love singing screamo stuff.

I'm not much of a gamer but I have an Xbox 360 I play. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to have stuff like CoD so I don't have that many games.

I play chess.
I just got into longboarding.
I like organizing (I don't know if that's a hobby) cuz it works perfectly with my mild OCD.

I think that's it.

I'm currently single but I've had a chance to be in a relationship. There's this girl I've liked for a couple of months now but I waited too long and now I might not even be able to see her again and tell her how I feel because I'm moving. The whole situation just makes me feel like banging my head against a wall for my own stupidity.

Don't get me wrong, I love Mozart, but something about Beethoven's power and genius makes me like him more.

I say that metal is an attitude and something that gets your head banging and gets you on a music hype.
In answer to the question I said maybe because if according to what I just said, then I would go as far back as Vivaldi's Summer but if you consider dark lyrics and heavy guitar metal then that's your view of things.
I like how it was compared to poetry; you can have different interpretations and I agree with that.

I've been curious about all the songwriters on Vizzed. I personally have a ton of songs written but most of them don't have the music accompaniment (aka the guitars and drums recorded or tabbed out). I play guitar, bass, piano, and I sing. And by the way, I'm for a collaboration for a rock/metal song.

Just put your lyrics or if you're too shy, just give us an idea of what you play and write about.

I honestly hate math and all math sub-subjects but ironically, I'm awesome at math. It just clicks and makes sense in my brain whereas it'll take others a whole class period to understand a certain concept.

I know this is going to sound kind of redundant but I love the guitar. I love all the amazing music you can make with it.

Other instruments I really love are the cello for it's powerful and versatile music you can make with it as well as the oboe. I've loved the sound even after I stopped playing it for school band.

I like almost all types of rock but among my favorites are metal, metalcore, rap rock and DIY rock.
I also will listen to blues, free form jazz, classical (especially the baroque period), some electronica, and flamenco and stuff like that.

My favorite band would probably have to be Slipknot and not just early or later. All Slipknot. Period.

Some other of my favs are Trivium, Metallica, System of a Down, Yngwie Malmsteen, Green Day and White Stripes.

Definitely "Soothsayer" by Buckethead or one of my own original songs.
Of course I would probably want people to laugh a bit because I'm not one for having a bunch of people cry at my funeral so maybe change the lyrics slightly of Green Day's "Ha Ha You're Dead" to Ha ha I'm dead.

Hi. I'm a dude with a lot of different tastes. I mainly play guitar but I also play the oboe, piano, bass guitar, ukulele and I'm a decent singer (both clean and growl/screamed vocals). I have a bunch of lyrics but I don't have that many finished songs that I could actually play.

My fav bands are Slipknot, Metallica, Trivium, System of a Down, White Stripes, Green Day and a couple of others I can't think of right now.
