My favorite genre in books is fantasy/adventure and macabre/horror. I really enjoy reading books from horror and suspense by Stephen King to fantasy and adventure by Christopher Paolini. I also like to read macabre/horror short stories, however fantasy is the main genre that I'm fixated on. Right now I am reading Eldest by Christopher Paolini.

My brother teases me, calling anime "hentai." It pisses me off just because he teases me about it so often and doesn't even watch anime himself. My mother thinks it's weird that I watch "Japanese TV shows" as she says, since I watch my anime in Japanese. Other than that, I don't have any problems.

I am currently watching Naruto. I just began watching Naruto: Shippuden, currently on episode nine. I'm taking a little bit of a break from it because I've watched so many episodes within the last few weeks that my anticipation for the series has dulled some. I'm really looking forward to proceeding with the story, though.   I would eventually like to branch out to other anime such as Bleach, One Piece, and Death Note. I've seen some of Bleach, but that was many years ago. I've been watching Naruto for a few years off and on, but I didn't really get into the series until about a few months ago.
