This Emerald hack overall is the best  I have to say. I like how you can get Pokémon on the first route like the Pikacha. Well if you get the pikachu then you could use the thunder stone. This hack is wonderful to me I love how this game where you go in the cave just to get the Pokémon you love!! That was the best part for me so when you are at the port make sure to hurry to get those Pokémon. Well I love the game but there was a gym I could not beat it was in maysville I beat it but toke me sometime. So pretty much any newbie has to at least play this very great hack. The Addictiveness is a 10 I will play this until my ass falls off xD also to the end of time its self. The Graphics have to be a overall 10 I like how you could get the other starters also get other Graphics into the game. The Sound is a 9 well because everyone has heard every song in these games am I right?  Story is a 7 well I had this story tons of time when playing emerald but this story is a little I guess poor. Depth 6 played this sucker tons of time xD. And Difficulty 1 I beat the game in like I guess 5 days I guess but I do love this game. Well I hope this review will get big (Maybe Lol) so I love this game to my heart good-day.

Back in 1996, 2 games became a hit in Japan... these were Pokemon Red and Green (Blue outside of japan) Oh wait! this is Gold! Well I'm just giving some history on these games. In the year 1997 Nintendo announced Pocket Monsters 2: Gold and Silver, originally for the old Game Boy, the game was vastly different from the one we know today. Differences include simple route designs that resembled the generation 1 games and the lag of color. Different versions of Pokemon (Anime, etc.) showed the new Pokemon like Togepi and Ho-Oh from the infamous Pokemon- I choose you! Episode. The game never came through in 1997. until early 1998 where more info came in, and the game being called the today title Pokemon Gold. However, Yellow was coming to Japan and Red and Blue was coming to North America. Hackers have found early maps and even a skateboard to rival the bikes. Onto the actual review, Pokemon Gold came out in America on October 15th, 2000 and boy wan it awesome! Everybody would agree, the sound is very catchy and the challenge is higher than red and blue due to the new types like dark and steel. The story makes references to Red and Blue and after beating the Elite 4 you can visit Kanto. The game is deep because there's 100 new Pokemon and fighting a certain someone at the end. In closing, Pokemon gold is highly addictive but if you somehow get all 251 Pokemon you probably won't play it again. Well... what are you waiting for!? PLAY IT NOW!!!

OK, I have always enjoyed this game series and after I did Pokémon yellow I felt like I needed to do another poke-view (Pokémon review). The story is great. I love that fact that your rival is almost a villain! I also love the fact that after 3 years team rocket reforms again after red beat boss rocket in the first Gen. The new gym leaders are strong in this new land of Johto and with a new region comes new Pokémon and new starters along with a new tro. This one also introduces my favorite Pokémon Typhlosion! Don't forget about the new legendaries too Lugia and Ho-Oh these are nice additions to series. Add on to all of that after you beat Johto you get to go back to kanto! that means with all the new you get to see all of the old too!

But I would really like a remake plz? When I first played it I had to download java but it went (Error) so I had to play the bugged one.  This is a fun game that I own and I decided to review it because I'm very familiar with this game.

Summary: Same basic classical Pokémon game ideas; fight bad guys, be a Pokémon master, and of course "gotta catch 'em all!” this is a slightly different story of a kid who lives in a different Pokémon region and with it new Pokémon.
Graphics: I'll be honest when I first bought this game I was amazed by how much better it was then the generation before but that is to be demanded in the first place ( If they made a game boy advance game that looked like the game boy color I would have problems). Let me go into detail about it. First of all, the battle scenes… The Pokémon look a lot cleaner and are a lot prettier...yes...even their backside. They attempted to give that white empty space where the Pokémon, stats, and option bar doesn't cover, they did a little better by adding a spot of the surroundings below each Pokémon so if you are at sea you sea water below you or if you are in a cave you see earth below you. Pokémon still don’t move when making an attack, it would be nice to see a fighting Pokémon pull back it’s fist right before it attacks or when a Pokémon is hit it actually responds to the severity of the hit.
I’ve noticed a few cool things here and there, like when you walk by a puddle you can actually see your reflection on it which is a nice touch. I noticed that in Lilycove the waves don’t try to climb up the side of the cliff as water should, instead it seems to appear and disappear under them. Also the world of magical creatures seems to also have magic trees that seem to naturally grow in a perfectly straight rows and growing nearly exactly alike. Also, though they did improve about the backless building phenomena it still doesn’t work perfectly; when I walk behind an obviously tall building I still can only just get under the top of the building.

Sound: None of the songs in my opinion are memorable and will never compete with the classic tunes of the classics but they do indeed give a Pokémon feel to this game. It would have been a sweet feature if they added an option where you could play the old tunes on the game but that may just be me. On occasion when you fly from one place to another the theme is the same. They made it so the music wouldn't’t stop abruptly and then start the same song over again from the beginning but I still think it would have been better to have given each flyable area a different soundtrack but don’t take me wrong because they do have several songs and tunes for places. Nintendo still hasn’t allowed Pokémon to have their own voice, I would have loved it if some of them excluding a few (I prefer hearing a roar from a legendary), I want Pikachu to actually go “pik-ach-u!”.

Story: Same old story, crazy mother sends a little kid into the world with one little Pokémon on the child but now they also have a lunatic for a father who also supports it. Also this kid manages to disrupt not one group of organized crime but two! Then you supposedly have an extremely talented kid, when realistically you just have knowledge of the game and basic common sense. This is the Pokémon formula: totally unrealistic… but hey, who wants that!

Also, though they did improve about the backless building phenomena it still doesn’t work perfectly; when I walk behind an obviously tall building I still can only just get under the top of the building.Sound: None of the songs in my opinion are memorable and will never compete with the classic tunes of the classics but they do indeed give a Pokémon feel to this game.  It would have been a sweet feature if they added an option where you could play the old tunes on the game but that may just be me. On occasion when you fly from one place to another the theme is the same.  They made it so the music wouldn’t stop abruptly and then start the same song over again from the beginning but I still think it would have been better to have given each flyable area a different soundtrack but don’t take me wrong because they do have several songs and tunes for places.
