Thank you all for everything you all have done. I sang at her funeral mass today, and it was one of the saddest but also most beautiful funerals I have ever attended. There was not a seat in the church unfilled and not a dry eye either. Singing for her was one of the greatest honors I have ever had, she was an extremely close fried who I loved and cherished. All I need now is time to heal. I've been struggling to have a day without breaking down yet but she had too big an impact on my life for that to happen. Please pray for her safe travel to god and for her family who loved her and everything she lived for.

Your story with you meeting him on Facebook is what caught my eye initially. I have for the past almost 23 months been in a long distance relationship with the girl of my dreams. We met on Facebook as well on an app called "Are You Interested?." It was an innocent convo at first telling people to stop teasing her in the chat room and then I got to liking her and as of October 6, 2009 we started dating.

Then last summer she drove all the way from Kentucky to Massachusetts to come see me. We spent the whole week together. The hardest thing was to watch her have to go home. Then this summer I flew down to Nashville and she picked me up and drove me back with her to Kentucky. I ended up staying a week and a half with her there. And now, we are talking about marriage.

It's funny how quickly things move even with so many miles in between, but if it's really meant to be you'll know it once you see the glint in the eye. At least that's how it was for me. I hope you ignore all the junk that people say, like "How could you be with someone when you don't know them?" But knowing them isn't being in person with them. It's knowing them from the heart.

Yeah it is. I went there for 7 years. They rehabilitated me after a very traumatic experience in the public school system to the point in which I'm now able to say I will be graduating soon with two Associate Degrees and a Cosmetology License after only 4 years of study.

They are a testament to what proper education can do for a child with a severe disability as I had. It also set me up with the many connections which set me up with many possible jobs and friendships that I don't think I could be without today. One of which is the sheriff's office in which we now have set up a charity softball game to raise money and awareness for the autism center.

This subject holds a special place in my heart because of all the people who need or have received special needs care, myself included. Most people don't understand the intricacies and high level of expertise needed to properly educate a special needs child. I hope to use this thread to better educate people to understand what really goes on in these circumstances and how deeply affected the students are.

One school I would like to mention is League School of Greater Boston which I feel is the best regarding children on the autism spectrum.
