Well, I am in a pretty good guild. We all go by a first name basis and I pretty much just ignore the idiots and jerks that try and troll Trade chat. You need to put yourself out there and find a guild that is right for you.

So I got tickets to check this movie out in 3D. In case if you have not seen the trailer:

Well, Guild Wars 2 has it's cons as well. The development team for that game has been closed shop and I read up that they are working on stuff to keep the game rolling. But nothing new is planned for the game. Meanwhile, Pandaria still has a tier of raiding left to go through, which also leads to more stuff to be had.

So really, both games has it's pros and cons. You can judge a game just because you don't like it. Numbers don't like when it comes to the player base

Hello everyone! I am sure you guys have heard of World of Warcraft being a very addicting MMO. It is; for good reason for it being it. It's a very fun game to play and honestly it has a little something for everyone. From PvP, to killing internet Dragons, achievements, and even RP. There really is no wrong way to play this game. Everyone is invited to join up and jump in.

I'm new to WoW. Where do I begin?

If you have never played WoW before and wish to join. There is a trial version you are free to pick up: https://us.battle.net/account/creation/wow/signup/

The starter edition of WoW nets you a Battle.net account as well as free access to the Horde or Alliance. But you are only limited to certain classes and can only level up to 20. After that; you have to purchase the game as well as it's expansions if you wish to proceed further in the game.

I have purchased the game and it's expansions. What in the world do I do?

This entirely depends on you. Do you like to Level? Butt heads against other players in PvP? Roleplay? Kill big bosses? Do side activities? WoW has plenty in store for you and so much more if you so wish to do so. There is no wrong way to play this game as it has a little something for everyone. I; am into PvE. I really enjoy doing dungeons and becoming better by getting better gear and blowing stuff up.

The game is designed as you progress in the game you get better gear to keep yourself moving forward. All while having a very good story if you wish to keep in touch. But the more you play the game the more you get gear, and the more powerful you become.

What happens after you hit the level cap? (90)

Again, this is all you. If you want a challange you can put yourself in dungeons or Scenarios. Put yourself into the field in PvP. Or goof off in the major towns in Roleplay. Once you hit the level cap there is a whole new world to explore. Which I will explain!

Raiding


This is a heroic only boss. Meaning takes a lot of time and patience to get done.

If teaming up with 10 / 25 people to take down big bosses suits your fancy. Then you are going to want to raid. It's an exhilarating, unforgiving, but very satisfying experience that is hard to explain. PvE content puts you into a very hard situation in which you and your fellow teamates must obey the mechanics of the raid in order to take it down.

Player Vs Player


If you want to go against other players in beating each other's skulls in. Then PvP is for you. It's almost like raiding except you have human players being your opponents instead of robots with unforgiving mechanics. The only thing bad about this is that you have to deal with the entire WoW population being nothing but crapheads. But once you figure out how to play your class: It's very fun to play. Even from a casual level; it's fun to jump into and have fun. Blizzard has done a pretty good job with the PvP aspect currently. I don't care what you say. It's not really balanced BUT! It's still really fun to get into. Trust me. Watch that video.

Roleplay
*Video exempt. Do not go to Moonguard*

There are servers in which you can Roleplay. The lore of the game is really popular with players and you too can have fun in the story if you wish. I'm not too into Roleplay so I can not comment too much. But if you are into that whole thing and love the story then go nuts! I suppose!

Like I said in the beginning I will update the OP if this thread takes off. But I am inviting all of vizzed to join some of us WoW players to jump in and have fun. Sure, it's 15 dollars a month subsciption. But the monthly cost comes with more and more content to jump into. It would take me MONTHS to talk about this game. So for now. This is all I can say.

Yeah, I have 2 90's right now. My main is an Enhancement shaman. IL 535. Finally got my cloak from Wrathion a few days ago.

My other 90 is my Pandarian Monk. Right now I'm still working on her professions and have not decided if I want to tank or have her be yet -another- melee DPS.

Well hey everyone! I have not been in an ACMLM forum in years. I kinda fell off the face of the planet due to work, school, and world of Warcraft.

But glad to see the community is doing very great.

Myself; I have been going to community college. Currently brushing up on my academics before I jump into GA tech next year. Still need a little bit more money before I make the plundge and take the risk.

As for gaming. Yeah, I'm a bit of a World of Warcraft junkie. But i'm not horribly addicted to the game. I joined a really good guild on WoW and having a blast.
