Seeing a lot of nostalgic names here. There have been drier periods, but this one's probably going to stick around for a bit due to growing dependence on social media - stuff you'd normally need a forum for like fan groups or other tightly-knit groups is now all on Reddit or somewhere else. I really want this forum to stay alive, and I'm honestly hoping forums make a comeback of some kind, but I know they probably won't. There is one thing I can always say, though - no matter how dead it becomes, Vizzed will still be a much better place for video game discussion than ResetEra ever was.

Honestly, the Master Ball is my favorite just because I like the idea of a single-use trump card that always works no matter what. I never liked the special balls too much because they all feel too situational to be useful in most situations.

Yeah, I've been off and on with this site, especially recently. Good to hear another person coming back. I have plenty of old stuff to cringe at, but I had to do it to learn how to not be cringeworthy. I still feel a little sad that traditional forums are being eaten by social media, and I'd like to hope this site survives.

I recently beat Persona 3 FES, although there is an extra storyline and stuff to go through. Considering it was a little over 75 hours, though, I don't think anyone can blame me for taking a little break from the game before coming back to it.

I'm definitely not a game collector, although I do have a hoard of games both physical and digital. I usually just keep whatever games I have in my collection, though, especially with the digital games since there's no possible way I could get rid of them even if I wanted to. Good to hear you've found another hobby to have fun with, though, and hopefully you'll enjoy the community here.

Last time I picked up a game was Final Fantasy 14 last night, since Twitch Prime was giving out a code for the game. I got it installed after a long wait, created a character, and got through plenty of cutscenes and tutorial dialogue before just putting it down for the night because it was getting really late. It seemed like something I'd enjoy, though, so I'm gonna pick it back up.

Susie finally rejoins the party...sort of. She's still more than a little violent and won't do anything but fight, so we'll have to warn our enemies to dodge her attacks. There's also a nice tutorial that's actually helpful and gives out a few gameplay tips that I didn't know about.

Nintendo actually has plenty of cool things lined up, even if Metroid Prime 4 is definitely getting pushed back quite a while. Out of all of these, the one I'm most surprised to see is Deltarune, considering it's a free demo...I wouldn't have thought it'd be worth the effort to put a demo on the Switch. The fact that it's happening and that a PS4 version is also planned gives me hope that it'll actually be finished, even if it spends years in development hell. I'm also wondering what the other ports mentioned here are going to be like, like Dragon Quest 9 and Dead by Daylight...They can squeeze some impressive performance out of the Switch, but is it impressive enough to handle both of those games? I guess we won't know until they release.

This is where the game starts introducing the parts that really feel like Undertale, where the Tingle look-alike from before shows up to crash the important plot stuff and then a tutorial battle happens. There's actually a lot of ways to mess with the tutorial battle, but I wasn't entirely aware of them, so only one of them was actually shown off.
