I'm listening to "Sympathy" by SVRCINA. This year, I've started to get tired of the same artists and bands while I wait for them to come out with new stuff. I'm glad I found SVRCINA's music since it has a lot more substance than a lot of the pop music I've heard in the past several years. I know a lot of people like more mindless/hype music, but I really like music that's done purposefully and that has lyrics that make me think!

I don't watch TV shows that much, so it's probably been years since I last posted in this thread. The last show I watched was Big City Greens, since I've been curious if it's good like the Disney cartoons I grew up with. From the few episodes I've seen, it doesn't look that bad. Some of the random humor has made me laugh, and it seems like the show has good character development.

Well, that yellow jersey competition looks a little less close now. And the other jerseys weren't close to begin with!

I'm at 98 points overall this TdV, which means that all I have to do is get 2 more points today for me to be happy This is the last day this month I can participate in this TdV (not that there were many days I could to begin with), so I'll try to get those points and finish this thing off. I'll be celebrating my friend's 20th birthday tomorrow, and then spending the weekend with him. So it'll be a nice break from the internet!! I need that once in a while.

Barathemos : I have some of the Indians merch too. I even have a tiny replica of Progressive Field because they were giving them away at one of the games I went to.

Yeah, that's one thing I'm concerned about: if they'll be able to keep making enough money with this name and logo change. I'm hoping that the name change won't make some fans change their mind about supporting them.

I'd like to see some alternate logos too! Like maybe they have some other logos that they designed that went unused. It'd be cool to see those. My friend and I joked around about what their new name and logo would be, but I am genuinely curious what kinds of things they thought about first.

I'm pretty happy with it too, especially now that I realize that "Indians" and "Guardians" sound a little similar!

zanderlex : Right, there probably isn't much to work with for Guardians. The story behind their name is pretty cool though, in my opinion. I wonder what kinds of things they can do with their future merch with this new name and logo. I'm just glad the team's color scheme hasn't changed.

SonicOlmstead : I'm gonna have Never Gonna Give You Up in my head for a while now as if I don't already hear it enough, thanks a lot So yeah, that's what's stuck in my head right now. The whole time I've been typing this post, it's been in my head.

Barathemos : That's awesome! I have always loved the music that plays in restaurants and stores because it puts me in a good mood (which I know is exactly their point in choosing these songs). But yeah, having catchy music playing in the background is one of the few things that would ever motivate me to try working in a restaurant. I'm glad some people enjoy it, but it seems like a lot of stress!

Thank you! I agree. Social Work is a massive field, and I don't even know what area to go into after college yet! However, I will have an internship in my spring semester, which will help narrow things down since I get a full-time job kind of experience.

Yep! My story is based on several Pacman games actually, not just the original. I took the idea from Pac-Land that Pacman lives in a town, and I came up with the idea that the ghosts have their own town too.

The premise of the story is that the ghosts are sick and tired of their plans to catch Pacman failing after all these years (the story is set in present time). So they devise a plan to trap Pacman in a new maze. They meet other ghosts who are willing to participate in their evil plans.

So yeah, the story focuses a lot on the ghosts instead of Pacman! I've enjoyed being able to develop their character, as well as develop the new characters. You can find the first half of my story in the "Stories/Simulation/Art" forum on this site; I've uploaded the first 18 chapters

Right, I have seen that before on YouTube, that there was certain content that did not end up in the final game due to corporate decisions or even because there isn't enough space in the game. I enjoy watching a channel called Beta64 that talks a lot about demo content/unused content in several Nintendo games, and they show footage. So yeah, I think it'd be great to see you keep uploading things like that for Playstation!

Despite the lack of activity, the race for yellow jersey is still really close! I can't wait to see who wins it by 1 point, I remember having a battle like that for red jersey and I won it by 1 point

Just like most of America is doing right now, I saw the new Space Jam movie. I have mixed opinions about it, but I'm glad that I saw it so my friends and I could talk about it without spoiling it to each other!

Today I woke up at 9:30 AM so I could quickly get ready for church this morning. I especially wanted to get up quickly because I've been picking up one of my friends and taking him to church with me every week!

That will be insane when one of you reaches 200K CP! That needs to have a thread made for it!

You registered for the site less than a year after me! I've been on the site for a little over 3000 days, and I definitely missed an opportunity to make a thread somewhere in there.

Considering that only one person has replied to this thread so far, I definitely should jump in!

I'm doing alright! I'll be finishing college this year with a major in Social Work. I'm not at all sure what to do with that yet. But also, I've been occasionally posting chapters of the Pacman fanfiction I mean short story that I've enjoyed writing.

I've thought about changing my username too, but since I've been here for so long and I've posted so so much, I think I should just stick with it!

Shortly after my last post in this thread, I fell hard on the pavement in my neighborhood. Ever since then, I've had pretty noticeable scars on my arm that aren't going away any time soon (it's been almost a month). So far, not a lot of people have seemed to notice, but that can be tough to deal with sometimes.

If you are into any RPG's, I'd strongly recommend Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. That game is massive, colorful, and it's even hilarious at times. The fights aren't too repetitive, and there is a lot to explore throughout the game!

The last video game I played was Super Mario 64, but that's nothing new. The last video game I played with a friend, though, is Wii Sports Resort. I got completely destroyed in Swordplay! But then I won 100-pin bowling by 2 points. My friend and I were playing as each other's characters, so that was a really funny dynamic XD

It didn't take me absolutely forever to update the story this time. Hooray! Also hooray for the "Will somebody write that down?" gag that I keep laughing at more than I should!

Chapter 18

The next day, Greeny’s team prepared for another meeting that would take place at 9 AM on the cloudy day.

“Excellent job yesterday, guys,” Violet complimented Silver and Bronze while Greeny wasn’t in the office.
Once Greeny joined them in the office, he began, “Alright, we got the painting done yesterday! BUT NOW WE HAVE MUCH MORE WORK TO DO! WE GOTTA TRICK PAC-MAN INTO COMING ALL THE WAY TO BOOMING CITY! ANY IDEAS?”

“Not at the moment,” Bronze answered.

“WHAT?? GET IT TOGETHER!” Greeny responded, enraged.
That’s it. I’m testing him again, Violet thought.

“I’m sorry,” Bronze sighed. “We need to advertise this somehow.”
“Do you have any ideas, Greeny?” Violet asked.

“Well, uh, OF COURSE I do!” Greeny snapped. “We could make a flier and stick it on Pac-Man’s door.”

“But how? How would we do that?” Violet asked, still remaining calm.

“We could do it at night when basically everyone is asleep!” Greeny suggested.

“Good idea,” Silver smiled.

“Will somebody write that down?” Violet asked.
Once Blinky’s team arrived ten minutes later, all eight ghosts met in the office. No one brought anything for the meeting except notebook paper and pens that Clyde carried in. As usual, Blinky’s team gathered on the left side and Greeny’s team on the right.

“Good morning everyone!” Blinky greeted the others. “We did a fantastic job painting that hallway yesterday despite our tiredness. You should all be proud!”
I am, Greeny thought, smiling.

“That was the best time of my life!” Silver told them.

“Oh nice I’m glad!” Blinky replied. “So now that the empty
maze has been set up we need to set the room up that we use for it eventually. We shouldn’t put the cherries in there until we know Pac-Man is coming so they don’t go bad.”

“And there’s still a door that leads to the empty maze. We need to take that door out or Pac-Man will get suspicious,” Pinky added.

“Alright,” Greeny shouted.

“Is anybody here an expert at door disassembling?” Blinky asked. Everyone laughed.

“We built this house ourselves,” Bronze pointed out. “I’m sure at least one of us can do it.”

“You’re right!” Violet exclaimed. “Wasn’t it you who added this door, Greeny?”

“Yep,” Greeny smiled. “I remember it so well.”

“Where do we get supplies though?” Pinky wondered.

“There’s a huge DIY store in Booming City that’s conveniently pretty close to our maze building!” Greeny realized while speaking.

“We don’t still have the supplies we used for our house?” Bronze asked Greeny.

“No. I got ‘em at a garage sale, so they didn’t last long,” Greeny sighed.

“I think that’s all, right?” Inky asked Blinky.

“Yeah I’m ready to go!” Blinky smiled wide.

becerra95 : Don't worry. I made sure a competitor would be getting jerseys yesterday I plan on adding a little more competition especially when I have ideas for reviews to post, like I thought of yesterday.

I didn't have to try for yellow and blue, but I did still have to try for red. I didn't get it by much, though.
