The dilemma of the ideal government. It is a time old story, every type of government has its pitfalls. A true and perfect Democracy is the type of government that is an ideal government. That's to say that what Democracy was intended to be, is impossible in this day and age in pretty much every country. The idea is that every citizen in the nation has a vote which goes to every topic discussed, which doesn't involve an elected group to represent people, therefore the worry of a central government who can deny votes is gone. The problem with it is that there is a limit on the amount of people that could even participate in this pure form of Democracy. Even socialism is an ideal government; which also has a limit on its pure form. So we'd have thousands upon thousands of tiny nations to have such a system, not that it'd be a problem. I'd like one of these governments where everyone really has a say, and your votes really counted for something I just don't think it could ever happen though because I can only see it degenerating to what we have in America, pretty much like the Holy Roman Empire without the lifetime reign. |

I've been in several online relationships, and although some of them have turned out to be terrible in the fact that it was all just a game to them, it is a learning experience. I'm not suggesting everyone should, but when you have a hard time connecting with any people of your desired gender in your area, sometimes the best answer is usually someone out there. With more people delving into the online dating scene you are going to have good and bad people. My dad met my stepmother online, and they turned out good. My mom met my step dad over the web and well he's a whiny little cry baby who is about 11 years older. I have two really good friends in college who met online, they live happily together and are engaged. He moved all the way over from the Midwest to the College we all went to just to be with her. So it has its pro's and con's. As with any relationship you just have to be patient with it, don't rush or you will get hurt, and well watch out for perv's or anyone looking for just a good time if you want something with commitment. My best relationship was a result of online dating, but things just fell apart when her parents just took a hostile approach to me. We aren't even a year apart in age, but at the time its understandable why they would. But time passes on. I hope however way any of you finds romantic happiness that it works out! |

It's interesting how this competition will end up turning out. I like this idea though, as it encourages those to be more active on the forums, as it seems I might just have to drag myself onto this webpage. Not a problem with all the awesome games and good people that have gathered onto this site! hm maybe it is time to drag a youtube channel reviews onto here and play the games of old? Time will tell! Time will also tell how we all do. Good luck and Godspeed to you all! And maybe the best poster win! Even if that means having to go on all the pages to win half of these categories. |

I have a few Favorite games, I guess I shall rate by System NES: As far as games I played as a kid on the console I'd have to say the original Final Fantasy, the concept was mind boggling, much more enticing that the second place Legend of Zelda, and just really appealed to me, not that I ever got far. I just loved the graphics that made it different than LoZ. SNES: I never had one until I found one my uncle had over 5 years ago, so I never really got to appreciate the real value and wonder the 16-bit system had. Again we go with one I've played on the console on a very limited library, SimCity. I just got engrossed into the game so much so I would (and still) create my own town history's starting with a 1900 late colonization by European powers. I was a little taken aback that the game never gave you some options to choose from, like to build your own hospital and what not, since they randomly appeared out of Residential zones you might've made. N64: The N64 was the second console I ever owned, after my dad had bought it. My top game for this system was and always has been the game me, my dad, and my second youngest uncle played. Despite it's shortcoming on the NES, the Legend of Zelda came back to blow my mind, the graphics, the game play, the style, the constant sense of danger you felt. As a kid Ocarina of Time drew me in and never let go, I felt like I was there with Link. the Music also made this game the top of all N64 games, no matter how good Kirby would compete. It had such a huge amount of replayablity that not many games had, even if the outcome would be the same. This game is one of every ones top games for the N64. PlayStation: Well as far as the original PlayStation goes my favorite game turned out to be a bomb for many a fan of the TV show. With Pokémon and Digimon continuing its rising feud, both were delving into the Gaming world. Digimon World 2 is my PlayStation Favorite, I loved the game play, the idea and concept used, it was addicting, as much as a challenge to really do much. without the Digiwatch you had to constantly level up until the monsters couldn't level up anymore, then mate them to try to go higher levels. I had to rent it, but even still this game was awesome to me. PlayStation 2: This system somehow still keeps putting out games and owns the largest spot on my gaming library, I literally have a bookshelf dedicated to PS2 games. I was a sports enthusiast during this time, so a majority are either NBA, MLB, or NFL games. It was a late discovery after finding the Dynasty/Samurai Warriors series that I really found my favorite game on this system. Nobunaga's Ambition Iron Triangle/Rise to Power tie as the top game for me. With such interesting game play, strategy, and historical accuracy this game just found it's way to the top of my list. it would let me win for a while then finally provide me with a challenge, and it would always kick my butt. This challenge is why I had to keep playing, this is what made it so much fun for me. Leading a group of Samurai and Daimyo to reunite the Nation of Japan, trying to conquer about 200 castles to do so, with 160+ other Daimyo trying to destroy you; I would recommend this game to anyone with an interest in strategy and who like historical fiction games, and also if you're up for a challenge. Nintendo Gamecube: The Gamecube was the first of the "new generation" consoles I got (new generation being Xbox, PS2, Gamecube). Once again the Legend of Zelda found its way at the top of the list with Windwaker for quite a long time, until I fell in love with Fire Emblem. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance became my favorite on the Gamecube for my love affair with the hand held games. Loved the strategy, loved the presentation, it kind've brought Final Fantasy to a more beatable level, without forgetting to keep the Permadeath feature on. That's right I got pretty frustrated with it, losing one character at one point could ruin opportunities to get new characters later on, there were so many hidden things in this game I just had to keep everyone alive. No play through is the same with the percentage of hits either you or enemy can receive. Where you might have 88% chance to hit, the opponent could still kill your character. Anyway PoR just went above and beyond my expectations for it, in fact its the only game I've ever gotten someone in college to get hooked on, so much so he wanted to take my gamecube and the game with him. Needless to say I never let him keep either PlayStation 3: Penultimate system I got. With its gaming library constantly adding on much like its older cousin, It's hard to say for sure. I would have to go with Skyrim. The first of the Elder Scrolls games I've played, I just fell deep into its graphics and dynamic game play. This was one button masher I could really get behind, yes I called it that, but during hand to hand combat it has the flow of button masher. It also reminded me of Fable 2, of which I had become fond of on the Xbox, so the segue between just made me glad to own both systems and glad I had friends who had Oblivion, which is what got me over to Skyrim. Xbox360: The Final system I have purchased, as a late bloomer in the collection, also has a limited library for me to choose from (based on what I've played) I'd have to say the cake goes to Fable 2. I bought the Xbox from a friend and this was one of the games he threw in with the system. It was the first one I played, and has since stayed around to be my favorite from the brand new (to me) game play that I had been missing out on from the Elder Scrolls series that I never really bothered to pick up. I had seemed to be a rebel to the hit games, but Fable 2 became itself a hit game. Now before I conclude with my all time favorite, I'd like to mention some honorable mentions. Kingdom Hearts 2 on the PS2 as the second best on the system behind the Nobunaga's Ambition twins, really amazed me. I was locked into the game for hours, following the story line that was intertwined with Chain of Memories, and with this (spoiler alert) introduction of a new character; Roxas. Even though the start of the game just made me confused at first, I finally got it. For once a storyboard that was interesting to me. Castlevania on the NES was only a game I played on this website, I never got the honor of owning the game, as my dad never ended up buying it back in the late 80's still before my time. The music and the difficulty would still get me invested into the game, although I'd rather play it and Super Castlevania IV on their respective consoles. So the Top 3 games of all time! 3: Nobunaga's Ambition: Iron Triangle/ Rise to Power. These two just kick ass for their genre 2: Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. This series is still gaining on the LoZ series, and I almost debated on making this one my number one 1: If you've read all this I applaud you, and you most likely know what game is my all time favorite. That's right Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde! No not really, although after watching the AVGN I had to play the game, which brought me to this sight in the first place. my Favorite game of all time is the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. OoT in its various editions has been an instant classic to me; it dominated the landscape of my gaming ever since I saw my dad and his brother play it. I have so many memories of it, it will always be on the list of my top games of all time. After playing it and buying the 3DS, I do agree this game is awesome, it brought back so many memories, so many new things I never noticed in the original game. it's funny that this was the one game that made me buy a 3DS, made so many of my friends mad afterwards xD but yeah it was such an awesome game even on 3DS, although the 3D part sometimes caused headaches, but you have to look at the game the right way to not worry about it, or turn it off. |

Ocarina of Time was my favorite out of them all, provided enough of a challenge at the time I played it, and it's now one of my all time favorite games. Nintendo has already remade it a few times, they remade it for Gamecube, but now for DS3???? Really? Ok when i think of Hand Held Nintendo games especially legend of zelda i think half done, kinda lazy, and just never had an interest. In fact they probably just remake zelda games of old on hand held just for the hype of the title, nevermind the playability. Link to the Past i think was much better on the console then hand held, and I know Ocarina of Time will be much better on console. I'm not sure I want to know what they'll make you use the stylis for (yeah it's spelt wrong oh well) but it'll probably something that will make the game get a bad rep. No offense I just saw the stylus as a waste of time; it made a hand held game remind me of a pda to be honest (and i mean the kinda you'd use a stylus for, not something you'd do in the park :p) Interesting to see what comes of this but I think that it will always be much better on Console |

It is true Zelda II is one of the most difficult Zelda games out there, but it does make a challenge when you compare it to the most recent games. Take Twilight Princess for example; Once you start to play it stays pretty easy throughout the game. The last challenging Legend of Zelda was Majora's mask simply because of the Three day's to beat the game or the world dies. The water temple was what got me but still. I agree with the rating of this game but put it in sight of the rest of the series and it's one of the most challenging, and when the rest of them seem to be so easy you can do it in your sleep, it's worthy of something |

Egypt's president has stepped down now, and now the Military has taken over the position, but as we've seen in the past Militant governments tend to lead to more violence, How will Egypt handle this? Hopefully much better and that they can move on past this whole dilemma. And by Militant Government I mean Government's run by the Military. Although Egypt's President did hand the leadership reigns to a military council we could still see hostilities in the area. |

I don't like Twilight at all, there was too much hype about it. I never even knew about the book until my old school decided we needed a fan club and that the fan club started in time to have a field trip (excused absence) to go see the movie. I mean the Vampire Twinkle and sparkle like a fairy and just.. NO! Simon Belmont meets Edward Cullen in Forksilvania
Simon (walks into Washington State) Cullen (sensing Simon's presence in the state dies and is gone forever) I just realized that by making that comment I just encased Twilight in a gold cover.. my appolgies castlevania is an epic series which should and never will be again put in the same sentance. Twilight Just has too much hype behind it and really is over rated. I mean they can't really try to sue just us for talking about it, then they'd have to sue everyone on Facebook for talking about it and the list would continue, that would be much more a waste of money and time for Roger Goodell and the NFL than it's worth, If we were doing like a telecast using the images without the consent of the NFL then they could sue us. |

Honestly who ever wins is the team most willing to win today, The halftime show I must say was terrible, yay slash was on, but only for five seconds so Fergie could make sweet child of mine sound like poo. Next superbowl they should have say Boston or Chicago play maybe have ZZ Top roll in the Hot Rod, Last year the Who rocked. I'm ready to watch this year pass and next year come. |
