@Erinn Well that right there is the thing. When a game is made in one format, particularly in older types, you can an idea in your head how things should look. Like how characters should look based off the limited art you have. When something goes 3D the way you saw things is suddenly different. You see things how the creators do. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but once something is in a person mind, something different just kills the idea. And of course, Gamers rarely like change, particularly with classics.

Super Mario Bros. I know it's not the most imaginative option. But it was always my go to as a child when I was bored. We got an NES when I was three and it was the first video game I ever learned how to play. Well, that one and a Sesame Street game.

I was looking for a way to play older games. I was not too great with figuring out emulators at the time, so since Vizzed had everything set up alright I naturally gravitated to the games rooms. Though I quickly began to enjoy talking to people on the forums.

So I am not sure if anyone here still remembers me. But my name is Tawny and I often go by Namrea, or Nam on various forums including this one. I was a very active member for a while until 2013 when my life took a rather violent change of pace. My mother had a heart attack, and my father a stroke soon after. I had to drop everything to keep them comfortable and well taken care of. That meant no more hours to spend wandering around the forums here. Eventually, though, things settled down and I had to get my own life back on track. Which took a bit longer than I would have liked. Though I have finally gotten what I've needed and wanted. I can relax a bit once more.





I return to Vizzed four years later 29, living in a warm and sunny state, with parents who are moderately healthy for those who are in the later parts of their lives. A kind significant other who brought a little boy along with him (I never expected to have a child around even a little), who while not my own, is a joy to be around. So basically, I return to Vizzed excited to see who is still around and hopefully meet new people as well.


Hope to talk to you all soon.
