Finally! The reply box has been glitching out all day thanks to my slow wi-fi, only now does it work! EX Palen : Oh thank you! I'm still a bit concerned since it seems like a lot of people put a lot of value on the audio quality... Though they can check the other reviews for that, while I can provide further content and detail in other areas, perhaps? Ooh, sounds too good to be true! Especially as May's my birthday, haha. Well, still, I'll try my best, and even if I fail, that gives me more time to work and study up, no? Also, thank you, I'll bookmark that link for future reference, I already have a few games in mind I'll bring up... well, once the wi-fi stops acting up. I might take a bit, as I always try to play near to 100% before I review! After all, it might change in quality late game or have a lame ending, even on the longer games. ![]() supernerd117 : (Let's see if multi-replying works here...) Oh, nice! I owned 1 to 5 at varying points myself, rommed 6, and loved them all! (Though 5's tactical gameplay was... annoying.) Bugger to hear about the issue with 3, but could that be fixed with Netplay compatibility, maybe? Have a couple of Megaman 3 players swap chips via a Netplay session if possible, like trading Pokémon. Otherwise, I'll be looking into possible hacks that allow you to gain the chips without need for trading. Also, what's an elite? Is it just having an exorbitant amount of points? TheTrueUlti: Pff, had to edit in this reply since you posted just before I posted... Thanks for the compliments! I hate the Fire Emblem games, actually... The character designs are all dreadfully bland (barely any variety), and so is the story. It's basically only the gameplay with nothing genuinely interesting to keep you drawn in. The recent Fire Emblem games only got popular because of the added dating sim features, ha! I love the genre, yes, but Fire Emblem is a subpar example of it in my opinion. I recommend trying out the Disgaea or Shining Force series for a nice comparison, though they don't have the permadeath difficulty. Despite my distaste of Akira Toriyama's art (no offense), I did quite enjoy Chrono Trigger. It's on my to-do list to review on here, in fact. ![]() The only consoles I own now is the PC and 3DS, sadly. I used to own the GBA, N64, both playstations, Gamecube, and Wii. I uh... had to get rid of them all due to financial trouble. One reason why I developed a love for emulators! Until now, I stuck mainly to games I previously owned so I wouldn't be too guilty, though. The first ever console would be the Gameboy. Pokemon Red~ I remember being disappointed because I wanted Blue, ha. Favorite color. EX Palen : Oh thank you! RDay13 : I like Pokémon too, but meh on Mario and Sonic. I love a huge variety of RPGs though, particularly the Mother series, Seiken Densetsu 3, Legend of Dragoon, Shining Force 1 and 2, and... the Megaman Battle Network series. (Don't judge.) In fact, I'm willing to try just about every RPG, with varying impression. Now I'm on here, however, I plan to explore and try out a large variety of games to find many undiscovered gems I've never played before because who knows, I might end up loving a game that most other people don't usually enjoy. That's the fun of a retro treasure hoard! Just playing only one or two games on Vizzed is a waste of the potential this site provides! I like Pokémon too, but meh on Mario and Sonic. Hello, all! The name's Joneithevius, Jonei for short if you want, and I'm a long time lover of retro games! You can't imagine the utter joy I had discovering that this site existed! Being able to play all the retro games I want without burdening my computer or wasting precious physical space or too much money! Plus the variety... At first I expected it'd only feature big-name titles, but it features pretty much everything available across the board so I can enjoy unheard-of titles as well! Truly a paradise for a retro gamer. As such, I want to help this site as much as I can! I'm going to contribute as much as I can, of course, mainly through reviews, as I enjoy reviewing games but never quite found the right place to do so. Though I'll have to note that I'm partially deaf, so uh... my review on audio may be inaccurate and underwhelming. Sorry! I'll try to be much more thorough with the other areas to make up for it though. My top goals on this site is to unlock everything, spread this site and get it much more attention (the honest way, of course), and... to become a staff. Oh, not because of power trips or to gain control or anything, it's simply because I want to be able to further help complete the library of games and I don't mind waiting until I've proven myself, or if I never do, just provide the material and links for the staff if I can! (Are suggestion threads/forums a thing?) So... yeah. Hello! Questions, suggestions, or the like for this newbie?
