I like playing mine handheld. It's nice and comfortable and it makes for an intimate playing experience. I can also play it in my bedroom that way and I can switch (no pun intended) between my 3DS and my Switch as much as I want without a hassle.

It would be EXTREMELY depressing if Nintendo started shelling out dime-a-dozen pay-to-win mobile games instead of their high-quality console games. Yeah yeah, I know Pokémon Go was a huge hit, but if that was ALL Nintendo put out, it would be really sad.

And neither the GameCube nor the Wii-U were "bad" consoles - they just didn't make as much money as other consoles. Why do you think so many Wii-U games have been rereleased for the Switch? Because the Wii-U DID have a lot of high-quality games, but a lot of people didn't get to play them because they didn't own Wii-U's.

Wow, I made 25 posts. That's the most I've ever posted in one day on this site. Maybe I'll actually get in the habit of posting more after this - it's sure been fun.

I got the novelization for Solo: A Star Wars Story for Christmas and I can't stop reading it. The writing style so totally captures Han's personality.

I grew up in the late 80's and 90's, so the Atari 2600 was long before my time and I never even heard of it when I was a kid, but I see a lot of YouTube vids about that legendary console and how influential it was and so on. So, did anyone here actually own one? If so, what was it like to play the console (instead of playing the old Atari games on an emulator)?

My Steam library has about 200 games in it . . . and I haven't yet played almost half of them. Steam sales - they're both a blessing and a curse.

On consoles, I have a better playing ratio. I've played all the games I have for my Switch (though the only one I've actually beaten is Super Mario Odyssey), and I only have three or four 3DS games that I haven't played.

When I was real little my dad used to take me and my brother to a laundromat that had three arcade machines: Dig-Dug, Ms. Pac-Man, and the original Mario Bros, and we played the hell out of all three. I can't say which of those three was the first game I ever played, but Ms. Pac-Man was most definitely the one I loved best and it opened my eyes to the world of video games.

I only have a handful of Switch games right now (and I don't yet have Smash Ultimate - but I plan on getting it the next time I'm at GameStop), but my favorite game is hands-down Super Mario Odyssey. Once I started playing, I couldn't stop. It was like Mario had opened up an entire new world while still feeling familiar - kind of like how it felt to play Super Mario 64 for the first time. By now, Odyssey has become my favorite Mario game period. That game alone is worth the price of the Switch.

When I saw Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Stan Lee had his animated cameo, I couldn't help but let out a sad sigh. Even though it's been a few weeks since he died, I'm still finding it hard to believe.

I love too many ice cream flavors to count, but some of my favorites are strawberry cheesecake, pralines and cream, cookies and cream, peanut butter and chocolate, Reses, salted caramel, etc. I have a real sweet tooth.

I download 100% of all my PC games these days (course, I dare you to find any games that still come out on CD-ROM), but for my consoles, I actually still buy physical copies. I guess physical copies still have some form of appeal to them.

I tend to take advantage of Steam sales. Some indie games on Steam will only cost a few dollars during a Steam sale. I also tend to buy DS/3DS games used, which also saves money. As for my Switch - well, for that I treat myself to a game every now and then when I have enough money.

I tried out Dark Castle on a Genesis emulator once - for about five minutes. Not merely because it's hard, but also because your character can't take two steps without getting dizzy, tripping over his own two feet, or both. Yeah, talk about taking game difficulty to an unfair level.

I really want to see some of the movies likely to be Oscar-nominated like The Favourite, The Black Klansman, A Star is Born, Green Book, etc. Watching the Golden Globes last night got me excited to see the Oscar-bait movies.

If, say, I'm browsing games on Steam, I tend to glance at the overall review rating (where it says things like "Positive," "Mostly Positive," "Mixed," "Negative," etc.). If a game I know nothing about has a Mixed or Negative review, I might hesitate to buy it.

I also watch a lot of gaming vids on YouTube, so if I see a game recommended by some of my favorite YouTubers, I might be more interested in giving it a look. Of course, sometimes I'll buy a game simply because it's part of one of my favorite series.

I don't know anything about any of these games, but I just looked up Dungeon Journey on Steam and it looks like fun. I might want it if it's still available.
