You can't. Do the work, rewrite the paper, understand what the teacher wants you to accomplish, and hand the thing in. It's not your tax return. Do the work and see what happens. It's not your tax return. Do the work and see what happens. |

This, folks, is some simple economics. The price of a good or service goes up with the amount is down. If you have fewer games available and people want them, the price goes up because there's more competition for the people trying to buy the game. People will pay more to acquire it because there are fewer total games available. This goes for classic cars in good shape, old baseball cards in good shape, and everything else that does not exist in massive numbers. Hundreds of thousands of cartridges of games go out. Everyone has them. 20 years later, not many exist. More people want them. The value is driven up by the demand staying the same and the supply going down. It's Econ 101. I always feel sorry for people who feel the need to flame others. You can disagree with someone but when you start attacking them personally, that means you really don't accept and love yourself. You need to feel better but making someone else feel bad. I don't get it. I never did. If flame wars and profanity were allowed, we'd see all sorts of swearing. Profanity is powerful because it gets other people to react. Flaming is powerful because it gets other people to react. You feel in control when you swear because others are shocked, or angry, and you're controlling their emotions. Would I swear? No. I think I have a strong command of the English language and I don't need to swear. I have better words that work to capture attention. I don't need to yell "****" to get someone to read what I have to say. Swearing makes people look stupid because they have no vocabulary and they have to resort to volume. Would I flame anyone? No. There are very few times I've ever attacked anyone's character on Vizzed. I rarely, and I mean three times total in the years I've been here, say, "You are a bad person." I just go after the ideas and the ideology behind them. I think the people who flame would be pretty quick to be ignored and they'd go away. It would be interesting to see the real personality behind all the members on this website if they were given a greenlight to say whatever they want. I'm betting a majority aren't exactly like you pictured them. I don't get it. I never did. If flame wars and profanity were allowed, we'd see all sorts of swearing. People sure are sticklers for rules. It's like it's more important to hurry up and shut everything down. I hope everyone feels proud for their contributions to the website. I hope everyone feels proud for their contributions to the website. |

sonicmcmuffin : I'm with you. You've done a great job debating but now the ideology is the point where I think I'm going to avoid Sword Legion for a little while. Raping animals isn't funny any way one looks at it and if he's taking the long range view of 'so what' and he's really serious, I'm... well, I'm uncomfortable. Nicely done and nicely walked away, Sonic. I'm impressed. Nicely done and nicely walked away, Sonic. I'm impressed. |

When religion, history, and culture step in to a big picture, there's a real challenge to stop conflict. Imagine a group of people who are anti-Christianity get plopped down the middle of Alabama by the Argentinians. That's kinda what happened with the creation of Israel after World War II. Displaced Jews had land carved out for them and they were placed in fairly prime religious real estate from the Muslim perspective. I can understand the anger of the Palestinian community. It makes sense. War is an extension of politics and as long as there are people, there are politics. As long as there are politics, there is warfare. Peace? Possible? Yes. In the event of an "Independence Day" style alien invasion or zombie outbreak, cultures will come together to share a common enemy. Until that happens, peace won't happen. lizzylovesaugie : I don't think prayers are the best medicine. I think executing and going out there and finding something is the best medicine. Take it from an old man here: Get... a... job.... before.... getting.... married.... End of story. You have to find work before you get married. You'll be married the rest of your life. That's fifty years of fun and frolicking. Don't rush it now. I'm married with a kid and one on the way. Getting married was the second biggest event to change my entire life. My daughter was the first. The entire world changes when you're married and you have to adjust everything. Starting off a new lifestyle with someone is dangerous when you add crippling debt, no income, and poor insurance options. How are you going to pay for a place to live? How are you paying for transportation? How are you paying for food, insurance, entertainment, clothes, phones, taxes, gas and utilities, and so on. Life gets extremely expensive extremely quickly. Without planning, you're going to torpedo your marriage and it will be terrible. It won't be the joyous thing you want it to be. Please, please, please get a job before you get married. You have time. There's no rush. Enjoy your relationship with your boyfriend but if he's driving the bus and making you get married before you're ready, that's a real bad start to a lifelong agreement. God wants us to be responsible emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially. Getting married before getting a full time career is as irresponsible as you can be. Don't do it. Find work. Then find a wedding. Please. Take it from an old man here: Get... a... job.... before.... getting.... married.... End of story. You have to find work before you get married. If you don't like how something is going, you make a change. Try some new things. If you're in school, get on some school teams or find something that interests you and ask to create a club. You can talk to a guidance councilor or someone who's a teacher to help you find a way. You can also try volunteering. Volunteering is a great way to meet other people with similar interests. Talk to the local city council or a YMCA or some other program and see what they may have available. The trick is to go out of your comfort zone and see what else is out there. Expand your horizons, try things that don't make you comfortable, and you'll find other people. Try not running to Vizzed.com every time you're unhappy or upset. Challenge yourself. Yunimori : Why would you bring up asexuality with your parents? I think they would be ecstatic because you're not running around banging girls or guys or whoever. I can't imagine being asexual. Humans are sexual animals and it's a fun, exciting, extremely physical way to express liking another person. I don't take it seriously and it's just a good time. I'm incredibly heterosexual. I'm a raging straight guy. I love women and I'm interested in relationships both physically and emotionally with women. I have zero interest in guys outside of platonic, non-sexual fun. However, I'm a member of LGBT because I don't care what people do. As long as you a fundamentally good person, do whatever. If people find love in others of the same gender, good for them. They're lucky. I do not, nor will I ever, support people who have sexual relationships with kids, inanimate objects, or animals. That's not right. Consenting adults? Go to town! My favorite game would be Dragon Warrior III for Nintendo. That game was the original grand tale for role playing. Dragon Warrior 1 was awesome, Dragon Warrior II was terrible, and three introduced so many new aspects of games. It told a wonderful story, it had great music for an NES game, and it took so much effort to wrap my mind around the character development and changing of classes and strategy. It's a great game that looks good and ages well and I still play. I haven't learned anything new about it but I like to go play and engage myself for 20 hours of run time once a year or so. It's an old comfortable book you've read a hundred times. it's always worth going back. It's an old comfortable book you've read a hundred times. it's always worth going back. |

I'm in charge of a YMCA. I hire and fire people, run the building and pay the electrical bill, create marketing campaigns and go out in the world to raise money for good causes, and so much more. It's fun and challenging and I enjoy what I do because I watch people develop and grow stronger, lose weight and get healthier, and seeing them with a renewed sense of self-worth and confidence makes me excited. I find women's basketball unwatchable. I watch hoops for the spectacle, not for fundamentals. And it's always the same few teams anyway: Notre Dame, Baylor, UConn, and Tennessee. No one really has a shot because those teams command the majority of collegiate athletes. |

You should be drinking so when you pee, your urine is either clear or barely yellow. If you pee orange, heavy yellow, brown, or serious color, you need to drink more, end of story. Stay hydrated. If you take vitamins the color changes but you'll know what's going on. Go get 'em! Keep on your feet and keep the garbage out of your mouth. Go get 'em! thing1 : If the girls you date expect you to pay no matter who does the asking out, you're talking to the wrong women. There is a massive number of girls who'll either go splits'ys on an activity or they'll cover the cost if they ask you to go out. I think you're "expecting to pay" and that sets up the dangerous area of women seeing you anticipate covering the cost. If you come right and say, "Okay, I guess I'll have to get this," of course they're going to say, "Great, thanks!" Women aren't sexist. I have had women buy me drinks and talk to me at bars even though I'm married. They approach me and say, "Let me set you up with another of that." Women cover my costs when I go out in groups and they're not my wife. So, the expectation isn't that I'm doing the heavy lifting. with dollars or intellectual conversation. Also, think of what you're using: Tinder. The objective of girls on Tinder is to get someone to buy them food and then they bang you. It's how the game is played. If you try other avenues, like church groups or socials or volunteerism, you'll find nicer girls who'll extend the courtesy of going Dutch when you go out. Women aren't sexist. I hit 33 and wanted to make some changes. I've always been in good shape and I'm just keeping a detailed track of how much of what I do. I want to average 2 miles a day of running or walking and I've covered a few hundred miles since October. I'm also trying to get my 20 pull-ups down and I'm doing about 17 in a row each day. I do 35 push-ups a day and I do about 320 sit-ups a day (80 per side (four sides) of the abs). I don't keep track of the other stuff but I am extremely active, I'm in great shape, and I just have to hit my two miles a day. Why is anyone sad? I'm tired of basketball teams like Kentucky and Memphis loading up with McDonald All-Americans who'll play one year and go off to the NBA. The teams like Wisconsin that foster a real team and keep kids three or four years and build something by developing their athletes are much more valuable to me than a bunch of one and done school programs like Kansas, Kansas State, Memphis, and Kentucky, to name a few. I think the NBA product is better when players can develop more in the college level. But now it's more important to get paid and I understand that so I can't complain too much. But there aren't any rivalries like the old days. NBA teams swap players all the time and it doesn't matter what school you went to because you don't know any of your opponents because you played 30 games or so in NCAA basketball. I don't know anyone who can go from a high schooler to an NBA athlete with 35 games of experience but they do it. Some freaks of nature can make the switch but most kids aren't good. I'm more excited to see a talented, deep Wisconsin team take on a well-developed Duke. There's good coaching on both sides and the kids are gamers. It'll be a fun Monday night.
