Hmm, irl I'm a very empathetic and understanding person. I like how I don't gossip about others and still stand up for them when others around me do. I wish more people would have that approach in life, to nip that behavior in the bud!

I joined back in 2013 and had a blast, but then I put gaming on hold due to juggling a few jobs. After I changed careers, I forgot about Vizzed until about a month ago. A friend was complaining about not being able to play the "good ol' games" easily. I told him about a site I used to frequent that was free and legal. I still don't know if he joined or not, but it got me back here. So with that,

they lived happily ever after!

Welcome back to Vizzed. I too, have that excitement and wish I could play them all at once. I am currently playing Pokémon Emerald, Secret of Mana, and Mario RPG: Secret of the Seven Stars. It's so difficult not to snoop for more games!

Well, you completed the first step (again?) by reaching out to the community. The site and people are just as awesome as you left (hopefully). I avoid hacks, so this one is the real deal of the game. I tried the other emulators. The one that let's you record video works, but I'd have to restart since it doesn't load my save file. I appreciate the advice and next time, before I get too far, I'll switch emulators if I encounter this problem again!

Hello computer savvy people of Vizzed. I have a dilemma and could really use some help with what I think is a game glitch of sorts. I've started playing Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and it randomly freezes up on me. I've lost a bit of levels (which is frustrating), but I've learned to save like crazy. It really does hamper my game play and makes me want to toss it to the side. When it freezes, my mouse is still able to move around, but I can't interact with the game whatsoever. The music still plays and the background screen still scrolls on it's own, but no user input is accepted. The game's cursor does stop blinking when it freezes. I have waited quite a while to see if its a loading issue, but that didn't fix the problem after it had froze. I've restarted, closed the window completely, and tried reloading the game to no avail. It usually freezes up anytime I go to my menu page or during tutorials in the game.

I've never experienced this with any other game on Vizzed and would love some feedback if there's any way for me to correct/prevent the problem or if I'm just going to have to live with it. Either way, I just want to get to the bottom of this mystery.

Information about my computer:
A not so ancient laptop
using Windows 10
Google Chrome browser

My software is up to date and no viruses are lurking about my motherboard (or so my anti-virus firewall stuff says). Please let me know if I didn't give out enough information on my computer or the glitch. 

Wikipedia says, First appearance of Mewtwo is in Pokémon Red and Blue (1996), so he'd be 20 this year. (if it's right) I couldn't find the exact date of his appearance though. 

I was going to recommend time as well. Simple acts of thought out kindness within the community will be noticed. So enjoy the site and look for ways to help out!

Glad to hear they had your game here. A big DnD fan myself (although I play Pathfinder nowadays). The people on this site are friendly and helpful when you ask the right questions. I hope you get many fun "mommy time" hours out of the Advanced DnD!

Hmmm, the only one I can think of is Monster Rancher on PSX. Sadly, there's no emulator for this game on Vizzed, just an entry describing the game.

Phish food is my second favorite. "Everything but the..." is my absolute favorite. The description from their website reads, " A Collision of Chocolate & Vanilla Ice Creams mixed with Peanut Butter Cups, Fudge-Covered Toffee Pieces, White Chocolatey Chunks & Fudge-Covered Almonds" Mmmhhmmmm!

Abra is basically the same way in a battle with it's only move of Teleport (Gen 3 games). But I guess, even then, you can teleport to your last heal spot....
As for in other games, the dang chickens in Legend of Zelda. Yes, you do a side quest to get a bottle after you collect them all, but you're trying to save the world from Ganandorf. Why the heck should Link take the time to do that (and the other numerous side quests)? 

What kind of things have you been trying to inspire yourself? Travelling? Reading thought provoking books? Sky diving? Etc.. As for feeling in a rut, the idea of shaking things up isn't bad. It's one thing I do when I'm feeling low at times.

As for people sucking because of being too selfish in your eyes, I hope you have a few decent people to spend time with; whether it be friends or family. If not, while you're trying those activities to inspire yourself, maybe you'll come across some awesome people? (I hope me trying to find a silver lining isn't too annoying!)

With your military options run dry, do you have any idea about what your next steps will be? I really had to re evaluate my own life after the Marines rejected me due to my bad eyesight. (which was 20/20 with my contacts darn it!) I had worked for a year and a half to meet their physical standards only to have my dreams crushed at MEPS (their processing station). It took quite some time to find a path in life that could potentially satisfy most of my professional desires. I went to a career counselor to try to help me see what I really wanted to do with my life. It helped me in ways, are there any resources like that where you're living? It never hurts to get the opinion of someone outside of your situation.

As for how you interact with others, that's your right to put up defenses. If you've experienced a lot of frustration due to their prejudices or poor first impressions, that's understandable. I usually have a chipper exterior to make social interactions go more smoothly. There's not much depth to it, but if they don't matter/don't care or I will only know them a short amount of time before they leave my life, then that's the version of me they get.  When we both make the effort and life brings us together, then I slowly come out of my shell. 

As for what I got out of your whole post, the impression I'm left with is that you're feeling helpless and sad/depressed.  First off, I'm sorry you're in a slump. Second, it never hurts to plan and dream. Write a list for your short term and long term goals. Doing that made me feel a little more in control when life got me down (in numerous ways). Seeking out help, like that career counselor who gave me perspective, is a good way to work towards something better.

Welcome back to Vizzed. I recently rediscovered the site again after a long hiatus. I hope you're enjoying the site as much as I am! 

We'll see if my poor html skills pay off. Looking back at my post, I do see the green on green issue. Thanks for the comic recommendations, I loved Romantically Apo. I haven't looked at that one for quite some time!

I have liked some, loved a few, and felt "meh" about many. I've gone through my list of favorite web comics and would love some input from the Web Splurge board.

As of late, I keep getting texts from spammers asking me to sign up for health insurance. I have their number and now I'm just trying to decide what to do with it to get a little revenge. Maybe sign their number up for numerous things on the internet? Who knows.


If anyone has any sites I can sign them up for that would be funny, let me know!

I say, the more the merrier. I'm a fan of having options and having each of the companies compete to bring the consumers better products (in theory). It could be a wash, but I'm willing to give them a chance if they're willing to do it right (i.e. NOT pay to play, invest time and money into the projects)
