Ok, so this girl and I have been flirting for a while now, and we kind of started dating about a month ago. So them I'm in a Skype call with her and one of her friends is there, and they started talking about the friend breaking with HER boyfriend. So one of them says something and my girlfriend says "And that's why I'm not dating.." And I'm just sitting there like wtf? I don't say anything because we haven't really told anyone and I don't want to make the thing uncomfortable, but then when I had to leave the call we're like texting for a minute and she basically says 'I love you' So I am extremely confused. Anyone know what I'm talking about? |

maguc : For me it's not so much getting stuck, although I do get stuck occasionally. And in Skyrim and Dark Souls it's not about the races or anything, I just like experiencing different play styles. For a lot of people I've noticed, they either like Mages, Warriors, Thieves, or Rangers. But I tend to play all of them. Especially with Skyrim, where you have builds like the Dream Strider, I can never really get enough of the game. |

This is especially common with RPG's and RPG-like games, such as Dark Souls, Skyrim, Final Fantasy, etc. So, how often do you re-roll your toons? Maybe not start a new one to |

I'm gonna get a lot of hate for not including SM64 on here, but here's mine: 1. Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES) 2. Super Mario 3D World (3DS) 3. Super Mario World (SNES) Super Mario World is the game I have the fondest memories of. Playing with my family was always fun, and it was one of the few games my Grandmother played. Heck, it even introduced Yoshi, one of the best characters. The worlds were fun, the gameplay was smooth, and the whole thing was still challenging. Fun at any point in space and time. Super Mario 3D World was REALLY great as well. Not only did it have fun levels, cool power-ups, AND paid attention to the competitive side of play, allowing you to see your rivals times for each stage. It also had a ton of replay value, with the star coins and what-not. Super Mario Bros. 3 was the first game in which the series got its personality. Rhyme or reason? Screw that crap we have an Italian on drugs the make him bigger fighting turtle and other drugs. Each world was fun in its own rite, even the water world was a blast, something not many games can do. The only reason I didn't put SM64 on here is because it's just too bland. I'm not saying it's a bad game, it's a really fun game to play, but each world feels somehow... old. It's just doing the same thing again and again, almost like they had a world-checklist or something, and eventually the worlds feel a tad old. Not to mention this game has NOT aged well, and the DS remake didn't help at all. I would love to see this game get a true revamp, not a sequel. 1. Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES) 2. janus : No, I don't really even care to beat my own time. If I play through the game again, sure, I'll do things more efficiently, but I won't try to run faster, or skip over that kick-*** British voice acting. I just play to experience the game and have fun, not do things the best I possibly can. 100%ing, on the other hand, is a lot of fun! I'll never 100% something on my first play through, but I do love to come back and get everything. It's a lot of fun to just go around and get ALL THE THINGS. Other than that, I just play games for fun, not to do any fanciness. |

SO MANY!!! The first game I ever played was Pilot Wings 64, and I love that game to this day. But I also loved Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64. But the one game that affected my life and remains with me today, is Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. This is the first RPG I ever played, and RPG's are not my favorite game genre. If it weren't for this game, I probably wouldn't love Pokemon or Dark Souls today, two of my favorite games. |

No, never. Speed running seems really stupid to me. For me it's the experience of the game, listening to the NPC's, enjoying the boss fights. The game that comes to my mind is Dark Souls. I've been playing Dark Souls addictively the last few days. Got to the first bell, got to the sewers, ran a little bit of New Londo, etc. Then I go on YouTube to watch some let's plays of the game. Most of them are bloody speed runs! Which is fine, but when you play the first hour of the game, then watch a speed run of the first hour of the game, then it's not as fun because they're skipping a huge part of the game and smashing the pacing of it. To me it's no fun if you don't celebrate that first demon going down, that gargoyle win, and it's just a grind fest if you don't take the time to just talk to a few NPC's! ![]() ![]() |

My personal preference is fantasy. Maybe it's just the way I grew up, but anytime I have the ability to summon demons or throw a beam of ice from my hands, I feel empowered. Swords have also always fascinated me, not to mention the amazing worlds these stories are set in. Dark Souls, Final Fantasy, Skyrim, TERA, they're all amazing and beautiful! And the characters. What do you think of when you think fantasy? Interesting characters speaking in old english accents. What could be better? Oh wait... FRIGGIN DRAGONS!!! LITERALLY HOW CAN YOU BEAT DRAGONS?!!! As for Sci-Fi, I'm not against it, but I'm also not into it. I love Star Wars, but Star Trek gets on my nerves. To me the techno babble gets boring pretty quickly, and can easily cross the line of BS. And aliens are just... boring. I've seen them do some cool things with em', but I reaaaally hate it when they do the same crap every time. Which is nearly every time. If someone can pull off good Sci-Fi then I'll like it, but over all it's just not as awesome as fantasy. Killing dragons with magic will never get old. Some of you may not know about this fan game, and if you like Mortal Kombat I highly recommend you check it out it's a lot of fun, but I need help with Mortal Kombat Project v11. I'm not a hardcore MK fan, so I haven't memorized the moves, therefore I need help finding a move list for the characters in the game. Mainly special moves, combo's, fatalities, and hara-kiri's. If anyone knows of a move list for this game, please let me know. ![]() ![]() EDIT: Ok, so I actually figured out that you can press pause for the move list. Now all I need is finishing moves, mainly Fatalities and Hara-Kiri's. If anyone knows where I can find these, please tell me. ![]() ![]() ![]() EDIT: Ok, so I actually figured out that you can press pause for the move list. ZeroTails : Um... wouldn't that indicate he KIDNAPPED you? *cough* Shreck is Love Shreck is Life *cough* EDIT: Also wanted to tell you that daydreaming isn't weird, since I do it. Although that's not saying much.
I didn't believe in much, that wasn't true, when I was a kid. At least that I can remember. Let's see... I think I once believed that lightning and thunder were made when clouds bumped into each other. I didn't think about it too much, so I didn't really care when I found out it was just really big static electricity. I also believed that the internet was a place that children get kidnapped. Thanks for the propoganda, Mom. I still Googled stuff, but anytime I wanted to play a game and it required internet access, I stopped there. Stupid, I know. When I finally got into computers, and found out the internet was a magical place of rainbows and unicorns (I'm not gay for saying that.), It was like a sigh of relief. NOW I CAN FINALLY DO THINGS. Someone70 : That's all true, but I'm mostly talking about in WoW, because that's the only MMORPG I currently play and the way class rolls work in WoW are a little bit different. Each class can actually fill an umber of rolls. Paladin is a perfect example. Paladins can be tanks, healers, OR damage dealers. When you get to level 10, you get to choose from three Specilizations, each allowing you new spells as you level, and each have a very different play style. I'm going to talk about the Mage for a minute. I'm a level 21 Mage, and Mage has three specs; Arcane, Fire, and Frost. Arcane is high damage, high versatility, and more wears down the opponent rather than destroy them right off the bat. Flame is high damage, counting on you doing more damage quicker so that you can't get hit. Frost, the one I chose, is ranged, SLOWS down your opponent, making them move slower, freezes the opponent, and in later levels increases crit chance. It also allows you to summon a minion to help you fight. I chose Frost because, I knew that Mage had low armor, low weapons, and pretty low HP. I wanted to be able to stand farther back and get imediate (dunno duncare) damage before they can even get close to me, and the if I get into trouble, be able to slow/freeze my enemies and be able to get away. The minion helps, too, because he can hold off the enemy while I get away. But I do see what you're talking about, but in WoW (Where my experience lyes (: ) there are a few ways to be a tank, or a damage dealer, or even a healer. And, at that point, it relies on what your group needs and what you can apply best. |

Offensive weapons/magic first, armor/healing magic with the money left over. Of course, there are many exceptions, mainly healers with the healing magic, I always put those high on priority, but for the most part I prefer taking the enemy out quickly. And, I prefer healing magic over armor, because it can be used in all cases (other than magic locks, mana drains, etc.), whereas armor will always have attacks that penetrate it, rendering it useless.
EDIT: I should also mention I prefer magic over everything. It's versatility has gotten me out of many sticky situations, and whenever I get to a new town in the old FF games, the first thing I do is go to the magic shop. A lot of people say that each character(class, race, profession, etc.) has a equipment build and magic set and talents that best suit them and their needs. Is this really true?
I don't think so. Because, really, it all comes down to player-preference. Would you rather have equipment with 15-20 damage, or 12-15 damage with +3 Spirit? 7 Armor or 6 Armor and +2 Intellect? Magic that does high damage, or slows/hinder the enemy? Raises allies stats, or heal their HP/Mana? What do you guys think? I don't think so. Because, really, it all comes down to player-preference. Light Knight : I agree 100%. You know, I wonder how many kids were at that Miley concert... Anyway, I agree that woman are doing this to themselves, in the sense that they, as you say it, "objectify" themselves to further their profession. But, for me at least, if they want to be sexy, I'm fine with it, and if they want to stay professional, I won't think any less of them. That's my standing, anyway. |
