speaking of rogues i have never put so much work into making a class work, several of my spells are macroed so that i can juggle three weps to benefit from ambush with a dagger and better hemo damage using a sword.

Tip a Taruen is my favorite game and using a sword with a rogue was something I really didn't want to stop doing but ..... in PVP you have no chance ... so I am gonna guess you are just doing that in Raids where you may have a few seconds to switch ... if I am correct then be careful cause you may get people killed if you make one wrong click

nah - actualy im using a sub spec for pvp right now in the 50's bracket, my macroed spells are as such -

/cast stealth (or vanish)
/equip dagger

this allows me to use ambush coming out of stealth if i so wish

/cast pickpocket
/cast opening move
/equip sword

this is macroed as such so that the instant i cast any one of my opening moves, the instant after i have a sword to whack away at them with for better hemo damage then i would get with a dagger (i also imediatly pickpocket the mob if i am questing or PvEing)

these macros allow me to benefit from a higher white/hemo damage as well as being able to freely use ambush, ill have to re-work them all once i get shadow dance of course

and since the equip macros only apply to the main hand i dont have to worry about messing up my wep combos

the ambush crits are crazy and when combined with premed for the imediate 5 point evis (kidney shot for tougher enemies) i can take out anything easily, even warrs if i throw in a disarm

you 're in the 50's area and that explains a few things I AM NOT SAYING THAT YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING I did the exact same thing but the higher you get the more snobs you meet and ... better daggers you will obtain to the point where swords become pointless the first time I solo PVPed a hunter with my dagger set and won with no interruptions and boy did it feel great after that I rolled with double D's ever since by the way what Realm are you from

yeah, daggers do get a good boost at higher lvls, but i guess it just depends on which wepons have higher damage and dps. if a sword beats a dagger on damage then ill macro it in but if i come across a dagger set that has higher damage and dps then a sword set ill first be suprised and then ill go with the dagger set.

this is my first time lvling a rogue and a guild mate of mine (who has been 80 for a while) was impressed with what i told him about my sub build and macros, and even went and copied and tried it himself and found great success

ill just go with the wepon set that gives maximum dps, regardless of wepon type (but i will still use the macroes if need be to benefit from the ambush crit)

P.S. (as im sure you know, hemo damage is based on a percentage value of your wepon damage, so swords/axes/maces are preferable for higher damage/crits

i dont waste time with professions, it may make plenty of money when you max out the skill's but i just never got the hang of them.

When starting out in wow, Don't worry about weapons and armor just for stats, you just have to worry about what talents you are going to use when you gain the next level. You will be worrying about stats when you get to max level. Also, guilds are mainly for helping out and raiding/pvping. Don't worry about joining guilds untill you max out a level, of course you can join a friends guild or make your own guild if you'r up for it. NOTE: making a guild requires alot of time and effort if your planning for it to be succsesfull. You will have to make a website and update it frequently if you plan for the guild to be a pvp/raiding guild. thats all the tips I've got.

hey was just wondering if there is any advice on lvl 80 ret pallys that anyone can give?
such as, how to gems gear, and any specific rotation and seal and judgment people use in pve to boost thier dps?
i currently gem all 20str gems on all my gear, use seal of command on trash and vengence on boss's. found that i do quite considerable dps for how geared i am aswell. just wondering if people know any tricks to help increase dps a little more. appart from gear up more lol.
usually do 5k - 6.8k dps single target and 9.5k-12k dps on trash mobs with a gearscore of 5.3k. ideas anyone would be much appreshiated =]

when putting gems on gear you have to make sure it is the right color for a slot otherwise it wont work red slot red gem blue slot blue gem purple slot you have a choice between three colors of gems ... red blue or purple

Well, all I can say is, USE SHORTCUT KEYS. It makes playing so much easier, and doesn't waste as much time (Especially in multiplayer LOL).

I have a 47 frost mage & a 25 future Boomkin I'm working on. I have more toons of course(I suffer from altitis), but those two are what I'm concentrating on. I've never really tried PvP in WoW, though. Whenever I've tried it on other games, they always seem to zero in on me & I always get ganked. That's why I don't really do much PvP although I'd like to eventually.

I have a level 80 Death Knight Night Elf. I think she's almost done her Tier 9 armor. I haven;t played in awhile though, I'm totally broke and have no more pre-paid cards. I totally love that game though.

I despise macros (hotkeys are OK). I don't like a lot of addons, DBM included (and I raid). I never skip socket bonuses because it just bothers me. Mages are the best class and blink is coolest spell ever, followed closely by Arcane Blast. My mage is living proof that theorycrafting is highly overrated.
