Wow that's all pretty impressive Zander! It's good to see you're succeeding in what you like doing. As for helping bring more players in to the Vizzed community, that's great! I can't wait to welcome all of the "Newbies"

Domdof : Thanks, though I have been kind of failing with the reviews now. I promised the devs I would have 1 done by new years and one done by Monday but I could even start downloading the games yet because the places I go to use my laptop are all closed for Christmas break until Monday so a bunch of the reviews are going to be late.

I don't see how this will bring 200-300 extra posts a month at all.. Jus saiyan... There's optimism.. then there's just insanity.... 

I'm glad you seem to enjoy what your doing and stuff... but y'know.. some of it just doesn't add up...

Like.. you write a review about a recent/new game.. on a site that focuses on older games.... just seems a bit odd.. especially when the site isn't precisely known at all for it's reviews...

Also spoilers.. but keys for games are easy to get.. it's as simple as "i have a youtube channel please let me have a review copy to review your game" and most indie developers will jump at the chance for free publicity... jus saiyan

Don't get me wrong i love the fact you want to bring activity and such to this board... but even by your standards... this seems "out of reach"

because a youtube review is more entertaining, it can also show you actual gameplay... you can also tell if the reviewer is being biased or not most of the time.... With written reviews you can't...

Also it's also a lot easy and user friendly to listen to review than to have to read it... people like to multi task.. and to put simply... written reviews of games are dying out... it's 2016... not 1999 after all... 

As for your last question, most of the reviewers on youtube get contacted by game studios to review their game...  so yes most of the time they are specifically requested by the reviewer... also spoilers... but there are people paid to test games out... they're called playtesters, 

Tyrian Delirium : I'm with you.  Sure, there were 5 extra posts from this year from last year but one would expect that, seeing as the website is naturally going to grow with usage.  Or people were just posting more because of interesting things or some tournament or game or another.

I'm curious why Zanderlex hasn't actually told anyone who these people are.  If promotion and advertisement are the game, why wouldn't they want their names splattered all over everything?

And what's the post traffic look like from 2014 from 2013.  And 2013 from 2012.  If there's an upward trend every year, why on earth do you think anything you're doing is helping out?

I like the enthusiasm but it seems like you're doing an awful lot of bragging for no noticeable change in the website from my point of view.  I don't see Vizzed.com loading up with great reviews, conversations, and flooding with people.  It seems like a massive percentage post a few times and leave a week later.

Wow! That is awesome! I hope the project works! Getting people involved with Vizzed would be great.

Ghostbear1111 : I did that. I even put links to the developers websites into the review threads. Plus they themselves are putting up the reviews and bringing people there. Look at the review for Castle Crashers. It got 289 views, the 2nd highest view total for a review on the entire first page. Plus outside of the review portion, none of the other 3 have any say of bringing new people in.
