I'm actually browsing using Chromium, but that is because it doesn't have Google's spying features incorporated and I don't need to use an exe installer for it either.

I used to use Firefox exclusively until I started seeing all the memory leaks.
My computer is always on and I tend to leave my browser open...I started seeing Firefox using increasingly more RAM over time... when it hit 3gb, it was time to switch over.

I been using Chrome exclusively for about a month now and it is much faster and doesn't use nearly as much RAM.

I actually feel the same about Firefox. I never really understood why people use it, it's slower, uses more RAM and just seems harder to use. Chrome (for me) is the best in everything, except for speed. The only browser that trumps Chrome in speed is Opera, but that's probably because no one actually uses Opera at all.  Although playing games on Opera seems to never really work well, I'm not too sure why it just feels awkward.

Chrome uses more RAM, therefore, making it slower. I use Firefox because I have limited ram and Chrome always crashes with me. My personal opinion on which browser is better is Firefox. I also LOVE Firefox's interface.

Domdof : how do you manage to like Australis? It's a copy of Chrome's, although I must say, it's still a lot nicer than Chrome's because of the dropdown menu being in a grid, and a few other bits.
Or are you referring to the old interface?

Chrome and Firefox are exactly the same these days, except Chrome is a little faster and displays webpages the same way that Internet Explorer, Safari, Edge, Opera, and all the mobile browsers do. Firefox has some odd quirks that dont come up too often, and I can't be bothered to remember what they are.

Firefox also seems to render fonts differently to other browsers. Not sure why this is, but Chrome et al have font renderers that more closely match the host OS.

if Google Chrome renders the same as IE then what has gone through their minds
Goanna layout engine looks promising though, a fork of Gecko for Pale Moon 26.
