I don't know when I'm going to ever add all my PS3/4 stuff to Vizzed. It takes too much time, the system is laggy, and honestly, I don't want everyone knowing everything I own.

I wouldn't consider it "cheating". I haven't played Knack, but it sounds like random chance is at play, and whenever random chance is at play, you can't really "cheat" more than the game already is. Luck based trophies are the absolute worst.

However, if it is attainable on multiple playthroughs like you seem to imply below, I would suggest doing it the legit way, personally.

It may take five more runs, but that may be the price you have to pay for a platinum.

Then again, having to play Knack sounds like a price to pay on its own.

legacyme3 : It is entirely random, yes. I seem to average one for every 60-70 chests I open, which means I may get one every play through, or I may go an entire play through without one. My last play yielded none as I recall, but this new one (the sixth) dropped one after roughly ten of the sixty eight chests had been opened.

As for the game, I actually find it quite enjoyable, contrary to the reviews it received. I don't honestly see the problems they pointed out, but that's me.
Still, after several plays I'm ready to play something else.

And the game collection rule will probably be dropped because it seems to be a pain in everyone's...posterior. But I'll add you to the list, and hopefully you find time to compete at least passively.

This sounds like a good thread but I'm not quite sure I understand it completely yet.

Has the competition started yet? If not, then when?
If it already started, then are you keeping track of the trophies that we earn after we join?
Do the trophies that we have earned before we join this competition count or not?

Kruzer : It started on the first of the month, but since each round lasts three months, it's definitely not too late to join and stand a good chance.

Current trophies do not count, no. Only trophies earned after September first count. However if you really wanted to, you could just offer proof of the trophies you've earned since the first and they would still be counted. I for example have no internet connection outside of my phone, so I took a picture of my trophy count before I started, along with a piece of paper in front of it that had my Vizzed username on it for proof.


EX Palen : Yeah, PSNprofiles is a pretty handy thing. I'd make use of it if I could. I did use it's trophy guide for Knack to get the last few that were Hidden trophies and such.

Alright then, I would like to participate in this thread. My trophy count as of September 1st is 5 ( 3 Bronze and 2 Silver ) proof is shown in the PSNTL link provided below. Also, I should mention that I do have some trophies that I have manually "Hidden" from my profile but I will fix this eventually ( I don't think it matters anyway, but just to avoid any future controversy ). Just reminding you that Sunday was update day. I'm not sure if you're competing currently or just planning to jump in soon, but if you're active now, could you post the trophies you earned between September 1st - 6th before Five PM Vizzed time (CST) on the 7th (Monday)? I'll update the stats in the opening post to reflect them.

This September I've played PS3 sporadically, so I doubt I earned any trophies at all.

I plan to start playing more often from tomorrow on, albeit I'll be focusing on two games I have guides planned for. I could win a trophy in the meantime, but that would be unintentional, so in all honesty the link I provided should be my starting point.

I will update my list once I finish my guides, which will probably be around my birthday, and that will be my true starting point if anything changed. This should leave me room for one or two months worth of competition before upgrading to PS4.

I'll make sure to post here the day before I start competing seriously. I'm not confident in getting some points, but still it will be fun to try, and also a great chance to explore new frontiers in games I ditched out long ago (which is the major reason why I write guides lol).
