Well, highschool, boring.
You can now be discriminated against by not just old people, sometimes.
You have an excuse to watch hentai I guess.

Well, everyone here seems to have some good advice for you, so mine will just have to be something a little different...

Hmm...

Ah yes!

It may not be something that you couldn't do before, but it is nice to start young, as you are going to school anyway!
If I could go back 10 years, I would have read more with the extra time I had after school, video games, and art; I only started reading bit more when I turned 18, and you notice a difference in a lot of things after just a year of reading any sort of novel or something... but this is only assuming you haven't done so already; if you are reading, then continue to do so.

You're so young, let yourself pursue your interests and grow while you have the time!

Aaaaand, that's my two cents~

Nothing new really, at most you'll just have more privilege in life and whatnot, but nothing special. The age of 16 is where the real change begins to happen.

What warmaker said but also, you think you have problems but this is not one of them. It isn't really what new stuff you can or cannot do, it is more like what will happen. The thing is, worry not, you are still a kid. I know you probably don't want to be called that but until you learn how to change your own oil, take your dog in for a annual checkup, get crap from your jerk of a irresponsible boss, you are still a kid and you should enjoy it while you can. Don't go worrying about what you will do too much so long as it is not detrimental on you or others. Let the adults worry for you. You just worry about how to not fall off a skateboard for now. And look both ways before crossing the street. Geez so few people do that anymore it's retarded. Remember, an inch of time is worth more than an inch of gold. My great grandma always said that to me every time she saw me. You cannot go back so enjoy what you have while you are still young enough to.

Unfortunately not much is gonna change for you being 13 now as compared to being like 17 or older. Just take the days and things as they come because these are the years that will start you into the adult you will eventually become. I'm not going to sit here and act like your parents or a meddling adult by saying, " Don't do this ... or don't do that." Have fun and enjoy all that life will throw your way. Only thing I will say is no matter what happens just make sure you use common sense and think before you do. Consequences I mean. It'll help you avoid some big mistakes and make your life a bit easier. Focus on your schooling and go for it as far as new experiences. Just tender it with common sense and be safe.

Nothing really changes, other than no longer having to lie about your age when signing up for accounts, lol.
The real stuff happens around the time you turn 16. You'll start taking driving lessons, maybe get your first job, and as college comes closer and closer you're gonna have to start thinking where you want to go. That's what I'm going through right now.

All I can really say for right now, is:

Stay away from drugs and alcohol. At all costs. Please.
And, don't really bother looking for a boyfriend or girlfriend at your age, and don't feel bad if you don't have one. Middle school "dating" is a gigantic waste of time.

At 13 years old you have the opportunity to do anything. You haven't made choices that set your path in stone or forced you into a career. You can start  really getting into subjects you are good at in school or learn how to make certain crafts. Try things out but don't worry about dating or stuff like that because you honestly won't get anything but a heartbreak and wasted time. Try your hand at art or writing or even game design. If you look for things that you can do or learn you can't go wrong with any choice you make.
