fightorace : Ok answer me this if you were stuck in the wilderness hundreds of miles away from civilization and have no experience in surviving the wilderness and had somehow reception what would you do?Oh yes call someone for help don't you think?So in the correct circumstances yes you might NEED a phone but in everyday life I don't think so so yes I agree with you most things people say they NEED they don't really need it,it is more like an extreme desire to possess what one would like in which to feel complete or fit in.

Warioman21 :  That isn't exactly the point.  That is an extrenuating circumstance and not what bob is talking about.  Let me try it this way.  If humanity had no food would we live?  No.  If humanity had no cell phones would we live, Yes though some would get lost in the wilderness even as they do with them.
