Well I live in Tennessee soooo....no. Definitely not illegal. In fact I'm pretty sure it's encouraged, especially by your neighborhood rednecks.

My family and I usually gather with a bunch of our friends and pool our explosives together, and then we just set 'em off. It's actually a lot of fun, and it gives us an excuse to hang out with friends we might not usually see!

In Germany, where I live, the fireworks are legal. But one must be over 18 to be able to purchase the better fireworks. Some are illegal, but most fireworks are allowed. Only real restriction is that it must be on New Years Eve. (Some other occasions too.)
