I see no difference between the two. I started with Yellow, so no bias there. As for pokemon, I'm also pretty evenly split. The only ones that I really care about are Growlithe and Vulpix, conveniently split in between Red and Green, so I would still need to play both and trade over to get the ones I want. Sorry to all of the version exclusive lovers, but minor differences such as bellsprout vs oddish don't affect my choice. I've played both and seen no difference, but I suppose I'll join the author on this one and vote Leaf Green for Vulpix and Ninetales.
