My favorites growing up were kind of varied. I really enjoyed both Spyro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot 2. I also enjoyed Pokémon Red Version and Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. I also grew up with a little known gem in Little Big Adventure 2: Twinsen's Odyssey. Those are the first few games I really got into, and I still enjoy each of them today.

acemcknight : Dude! I was a huge Spyro and Crash 2 fan as well! Quality games right there. Still fun to play today. I refer the first 3 Spyros though, after that they're not as great. Hero's Tail was good though.
