I recommend the 360. The games are the best and they have some interesting things coming in the future

It really depends what typ of games you play depends on what system you should get.
Wiis are more for casual gamers, aside for a few titles and ports from the GCN.
If you are a hardcore gamer it can be fun for a little while,but the lack of good hardcore games (the ones that Nintendo promised before releasing the Wii i might add) may make it boring pretty fast.

360 is for people who prefer to play online with there systems, not to mention they have all of the other systems beat when it comes to FPS games, not to mention a lot of there games (GTA VI as an example) get exclusive DLCs, but there is a widely known risk to going online with it (not going to say the name because of possible flaming that will probably occur after).
I would recommend the PS3, it costs alot more then the others, but the graphics are beautiful, and if your into game series that have made there last title on both systems (DMC4 as an example) it will feel more natural then having to get used to a whole new controller layout, and it can also play Blu-Ray discs on it. Plus PSN is free unlike the other two systems, only lacks with the PS3 are it costs almost as much as the other two combined and it takes ALOT longer then the 360 to install games.
If you were going to get a PS3 you should might as well spring for the 160GB, the memory is worth it, plus it comes with a really cool PS3 exclusive game, Uncharted Drake's Fortune, which is surprising considering most systems get bundeled with crap games from youd find in the bargian bin.

Basically which system you get really depends on how much and how your going to play on it.

true, but the insatllation is only performed once and depends on the game. but how about the physix enabled games that are coming out for the ps3, mirrors edge was one and sacred 2 is another. the hdd on the ps3 is slow i will admit to that. the ps3 uses a 2.5" hdd which is only for laptops built for energy save rather than speed. once the price goes down, i will get a solid state drive, and that my friend will put the installation time and loading a thing in the past. gwa ha ha ha..

I myself really like the PS systems, but am currently getting in depth with the 360, I refuse to by a Wii because all the games I've seen are too kiddish and never really seem that they would be really enjoyable. I would go with a PS3 is what I guess I'm getting at.

Alright, I'm gonna give you the pros and cons of each system then give my opinion.

360
pros:Great games, lots of shooters, Halo series, xbox live, the marketplace, dl content, xbox originals, free demos, family friendly games, and of course arcade. and its a very fair price, oh and project Natal will be coming soon, like an upgraded wii almost.

cons:prone to system failure, red ring of death, has occasional overheating problem.

overall: Great system with some flaws you can overlook, I haven't had a red ring in over a year. and you can fix it yourself easily

PS3
Pros: blue ray player, some good games like god of war series, its marketplace and live, don't know much about it, since I don't have one
cons: Expensive as hell, not a lot of outstanding games

overall:Not horrible, not great, it's a medicre system, but of what I know, It almost NEVER has any system problems like the 360 and it has better graphics

Wii: Okay, being a long time nintendo fan, this system saddened me
Pros: mario is back and still strong, Zelda twilight princess is on it, the game you get with it is usually good, SSMB FTW!! and madworld provides a great change in direction with its black and whit and red gore, motion sensor controls are pretty good. it's the cheapest of the 3 if you have a budget restraint oh and the wiiware is awesome, they have some of the best games in history on there.
Cons: hard to find, the new Mario game was disappointing (IMO)nothing for hardcore nintendo fans, no Pikmin yet WTF! Most of the games are VERY kiddy and unfun.
Overall:the possibility for an outstanding system is there but the games are very lacking. If they put out more games for the old school gamer, maybe a good mario platformer, (galaxy was short and crappy, doesn't count)then it would be awesome, and I have one.

My choice: xbox 360 tons of games, good price, great franchises, the son to come natal, it's an all around great system.

There is my opinion, whatever you get I hope you are satisfied with it.

Yeah, but the only problem with that is that it's considered modding your system, meaning that your warranty is gone the minute you do it.

Also, when you fix the RRoD by yourself, and you're connected to Xbox Live(while doing the process, after your done they won't know you did anything), you're banned. They think you're modding your system.

So yeah, it's better to wait than to go do something that can screw your 360 up, kill the warranty, and get you banned from XBL.

i really ur choice if u can get M - MA without fuss then u should get an Xbox 360 if u like G-PG and the occasional M and even more rare MA is the wii
and an allrounder would be the ps3 but (FYI i have and xbox 360 and i'm pretty pleased with it) the ps3 is really expensive unlike the other 2 so u could save money 4 some games.

Get the Ps3 it won't break down as easily as the 360 and it has better graphics than the Wii.

I'd have to say the Xbox 360. Why? Because for one to me its has some of the best games and graphics. And you can get free games with xbox live by earning gamer points. Plus you can get great games like Halo. Or Dead or Alive 4. Also the Ps3 can overheat more than any system.

Just read about the exclusive games and features each console has and see what appeals to you more. Personally, I would get all of them (which I'm proud to say I've done) and then you won't miss out on any exclusive that either of three consoles have. It might take a lot of saving up to do, but it's worth it in the end.

Dude, just get a PS3, more things to do, the gaming online environment is just as big as Xbox360 if not bigger and it's free. Another good thing is every PS3 owner I know has never had a problem with their PS3. Xbox owners have at least gone through 3 or 4 of them.

man you should definetly get a ps3, the xbox 360 charges u for internet ps3 dont and the ps3 has bigger memory and features for the money. Now come on wii that system was made for kids. Plus to get online with it u need to buy a seperate 30-40 dollar piece and the controller prices are outrageous

how is the xbox for high definition gaming performance. cause on the ps3 and my 46" aquos playing gran turismo in 1080p is awesome. most of the ps3 games are 720p and more and more titles are going full 1080. i am currently playing sacred 2 and it is also full 1080 and wow i like it.

get a wii because xbox and ps3 are killing gaming in my opinion
