My favorite console happens to be the Wii. I personally did not try the Wii U yet, so I can't discuss about it, but the Wii has good games, as well as being able to play the awesome GameCube games I own (almost all GC games are awesome, so...). It also has online interaction with other gamers and has a good remote design. Sure it has good graphics, but that isn't so important to me : graphics don't make the game.

Arctic Wolf (SS82) : Hmm, I can see why you like the wii, Lot's of good games plus it doubles as a game cube which in my opinion is pretty sweet, now as too Eclipses post, Yeah I grew up on a couple of those games (namingly  Sonic adventure 2:Battle and Super smash bro's: Melee.) and I enjoyed playing them both when I was younger, I still play SSBB To this day and I'm working on trying to save up for Sonic adventure 2: Battle on the Xbox 360. Well as always enjoy your time on vizzed and have a great day.

Hold it, I have one more to add, and I was reminded by browsing the GB games here. The gameboy, the original brick gameboy, was perhaps my favorite handheld ever (only recently replaced by my psp) And the games that I loved on it were always close at hand, there was of course PokeMon, Blue. Zelda, Links Awakening, Mortal Kombat 1 and 2 (I mastered Scorpion on that) super mario land, Wario Land(I obsessed with that game for a long time) and of course, the classic, Tetris. There were others but these were my favorite of all time.

Wow, thats a really hard choice!
The PS3 and Xbox 360 are way out of sight for me - graphics before gameplay sucks.
I have to go with the Nintendo 64 and the Wii.
They are drawing. While you can play N64 games on the Wii, its fun to get the feel of the console and use the messed up controller.
It's messed up for me anyway.

cheat codes for a variety of games and for ntsc sega saturns it bypasses the region lock allowing you to play import games like x men vs street fighter or after burner 2.now the gamecube reason 1 is because it was my first console and the amount of nice exclusives available for the system is my second reason but my final reason is because of the gameboy player which lets you play gameboy gameboy color and gameboy advance

I've been occasionally playing games ever since the N64, but I somehow always preferred watching my brother play instead of playing myself. Well, this changed with the Wii, when I started to want to be better than him. Also, I finally got Internet about the time the Wii launched, so it also is the first console I actually got hyped up about, as the E3 of that year was the first E3 I've ever seen.



Of course, not to mention all the great games it has (including the GC ones). Two Mario games, two (or rather 1.5, as TP was developed with the GC in mind) Zelda games, SSB:Brawl and Metroid Prime 3 left some really good impressions. I hope the Wii U will prove to be similarly fun!

I like the Wii and the PS2 a fair amount. The PS2 had some outstanding games such as the first two Kingdom Hearts games, And I always loved the Monster rancher series. Even Dynasty Warriors saw it's prime on the Play Station two. As for the Wii I feel like it's a pretty decent console, Enough adult games to keep the Adults happy and enough kid games to keep the kids happy. I always liked Super Smash Brothers Brawl A lot.
