This was a great movie! Since it was based on my favorite video game I loved this movie! The whole story was freakin awesome! The characters and everything about the whole thing was bad ass! The concept of them making a movie about the star ocean series would be really cool. I loved the newer game for the ps2, but I never beat it. Loved the story and meant to play it through, but just got side tracked on other games. I wish they would redo FF7 for the ps3, but the way things are going, I doubt they will.

I had to watch this movie a couple of times (different friends wanted to watch it with me). The storyline wasn't much ans of corse the graphics were good, square/enix would not let standards drop. It was ok by my standards, not overly great.

the more I think about the movie the less I liked it... sure it was kind of fun to have the game continue on but it didn't seem to have much of a point....

it was basically "omg sephiroth is back"..... and then cloud kills him...

the graphics are good, the music is good like it always is... but the plot left something to be desired.

Now that you mentioned it Geeo, the music was the only thing that I enjoyed. I managed to get a copy of the soundtrack and I still have it. Didn't keep the movie though, gave it to somebody else.

advent children was an amazing movie. the fight scenes are BA. my favorite is, when tifa vs. that guy in the church and cloud vs. sephy. and OBVIOUSLY if you watched the movie and did not understand it was because you never played the game. dont expect to understand advent children if you dont even know what happened in ff7 game (just throwing it out there).
