I have played guitar hero before, it is strange that it is suppose to be a music simulation game where you need a plastic controller (guitar hero controller), and a wii remote if you have the wii version of it, there are different guitar controller styles under the neck of the guitar for each of the guitar hero games, guitar hero 2 and 3 have no slider fret on the neck, but guitar hero 4, and 5 have a slider and a slightly different strum bar for each guitar, long guitar strum bars could break when strumming really fast (more than 15 notes per second for example, I strum 19-21 NPS.), but the guitar hero 3 guitars (which I always use) never break, so you can get out a guitar hero 3 guitar, and start strumming to your quickest, I like guitar hero.

If you have played guitar hero, tell me how fast you can strum. I can strum 19-21 notes per second like I said before.

I played it a long time ago, and got bored with it. So yeaah. It gets old after a week or two.

Stevie 764 : Well, I'm not going to argue with you about this, because there's nothing to argue about. I respect your opinion, but the game just runs out of things to do, once you get your personal highest score, and can't beat it, what is there to do?

Klutch : For getting a higher score, here is how:
• Keep the longest streak as possible (a FC is best if possible)
• Plan your star power route and use them at the best moment possible (exact moment, don't waste star power or use at bad moments)
• Has to be a song you can nearly get or successfully get a FC.

FC means "Full combo". In a song, here is how:
• Hit every note (100% accuracy) without wrong strumming a note.

How about trying hard or expert? On guitar hero 5, I have 3/85 FC's on expert, kryptonite will be #4, I HOPE! I always get -1 on a simple part which ends up in me always having a "reverse choke".

A reverse choke means you miss a note on a easy part at the start, but FC the rest of the song.

A choke in a song means you miss a note at ANY part of a song, either would be a easy song, or a hard song (like a DLC song called "Electro Rock" by Sworn), where I get a 99% in the whole song and I get nearly -7 notes in my runs, the only part of the song which I can't FC is the "Breakin' it down" part, the descending triplets are a little quick, and my fingers can barely keep up. I can do ascending triplets at a quick speed which is nearly 20 NPS or more, and I can do 30 NPS zig-zags.

Stevie 764 : I think the game would be really cool if you could make your own songs, or something, because IT DOES get old. And even after FC's it's got to  end , and for me that's two weeks tops. Okay maybe a year, but it wasn't that great when I played it, other than I wanted to beat my brother.

Klutch : In guitar hero 4 and all the way to guitar hero 6, there is a mode called "GHStudios" where you can create your own song. It is blank at first when you create a new song (Refer to GHmix), but in GHmix, you can:
• Use snap measures to space out your notes
• Put star power in the song (GH5 & 6 only)
• Change note pitch (GH5 & 6 only)
• Do any chord
• Can put your songs up to 4:59 long (GH5 only, unknown for GH6.)
• And more...

In GHstudio's "GHJam" mode, you can't do any of the following things that are in GHMix mode.

Note that GHStudio is on GH4, 5, & 6. It is on ALL systems of GH4, 5, & 6.

Stevie 764 : Yeah, that may be true but can you add your own song, like for example - I'm Sexy And I Know It. Nah probably not, besides, last time I checked you had to pay for that song junk, and I don't wanna waste my money on something that will get OLD...FAST!

Is sure that I know what is Guitar Hero, but I have never play. I have not the game, but I do not want to play the game. Probably I will play this game in my life, but not now.

I'm not really a fan of music, but I think I will love it more or less. Because is a very hard game, but awesome! This game is not more popular than before, I think. I do not have see someone play Guitar Hero or talk about Guitar Hero in 2011, I think. But probably is always popular this day. 

But is better to play with a real guitar.

I beat the game with Guitar. It took me forever. I even went a perfect 100% on Medium on a song. I forgot which song it was. It was in one of the later gigs though, I remember that much.

GetGot18 : It took me a month while taking long breaks that span up to a week. The Career mode is boring at times, but I prefer quickplay mode and a few free DLC songs from the music store. Here are my dlc songs:

Guitar Duel with Zakk Wylde, 0 wii points. (Guitar duel originally playable in battle mode in gh4)
Guitar Duel with Ted Nugent, 0 wii points. (Guitar duel originally playable in battle mode in gh4)
Guitar Hero Modern Hits theme, 0 wii points. (Theme is bearable in the DS game, "Guitar Hero Modern Hits")

That is my DLC song collection from the music store. Career mode, like I said, boring at times.
I feel like DLC songs in the game are better than the original songs in the game that aren't DLC.

I will not lie, I played Guitar Hero a while ago and I can tell you that I'm not really good at this game. I don't know why, I'm probably good at survival-horror, adventure and roleplaying games only ha ha

ive tried it in demo mode in stores but as a singer song writer  its just not the same i prefer the real thing lol

I have played Guitar Hero before. I'm actually pretty good at music games in general. I guess it's just a talent?

I played Guitar Hero only once and just wasn't that impressed with it.  I would rather play on a real guitar than play on some buttons.  But Guitar Hero is a popular thing and people like it. So to each their own.

I actually have Guitar and Band hero for Wii. When I first bought it, several months possibly a year ago or so, I played obsessively! I managed to unlock most of the songs and unlock-able features on every difficulty! After awhile of playing though SO much , I got bored of the same repetitive songs! I eventually moved on to other games and consoles. Currently it's the PS3!

Overall, I like it but it isn't as much fun playing as it used to be.

I LOVED Guitar Hero! I even had the app at on my phone at one point! I'm very board with it now.

I currently uncommonly play Guitar Hero video games. I used to play Guitar Hero video games all day. One time period, I had played Guitar Hero for about eleven hours without any breaks. I'm only eleven years old and I play expert. I had started playing expert mode when I was somewhere around nine years old. It took me about five hundred forty-seven days to master Guitar Hero video games. I was able to complete Through the Fire and Flames on expert mode with the cheat, hyper speed, set on three. This was from Guitar Hero Three. For some apparent reason, I'm not able to complete Through the Fire and Flames anymore. By the way, I cannot play most Guitar Hero video games without having the cheat, hyper speed, activated. The notes slide way too slow. Good luck playing Guitar Hero, everyone!
