So, the controls work fine and everything until I try to load/save. After doing so (from the menu, not in-game) none of the controls work anymore. I've tried to "define controls" into something different but no luck. Thoughts?

This was caused because of a Java update that was recently done. The developers of the Java emulators were trying to work out a fix, I'm not sure if that ever happened though. Update to the newest version of Java and see if that fixes it. Also, I advise installing the RGR plugin and using Firefox and Chrome. Then you shouldn't have these problems.
