I've never actually played any of the Resident Evil games myself, but I've watched my fiance play all of them.  Which one of the games gave you guys the most trouble?  My fiance beat all of them relatively easily besides Code Veronica.  So that one was the hardest for him.  What about you guys?

Hmm...kinda tough. I've beaten 9 RE games but I will say that the hardest one for me is RE0 remake on hard mode. The enemies are really hard to kill and ammo is limited. When I reached the last boss I ran out of ammo and health and died. The worse part was that I didn't realized that I SAVED at the point where I had less ammo and health so I'm stuck and haven't touched it since lol.

I didn't have too much trouble with 2,4,5 or ORC but randomly going back through 2 again was a lot more difficult due to controls.

There were none worth tearing hair out over. Except for resident evil 5, and on the third boss, unless you got on top of the bus and stood there and attacked him while player two fended off the zombies, other than that and the last boss there aren't any of those.

I've played every Resident Evil game and beaten them all. Anyone looking forward to RE6? They are bringing back a TON of the old characters. Not to mention the ZOMBIE aspect. FINALLY! As for me they weren't all that hard unless you played on Hard, Expert, Veteran ect. I found Code Veronica the hardest I think. The bosses were challenging and the controls were a pain in the arse.

I'd have to say Resident Evil 0 on HARD is the hardest game I ever played
It's hard to save ammo and it feels like the Zombies are more tough

as for Code Veronica, that one was quite easy, The Knife was a very useful weapon, much stronger than the other RE games

I have to say that Resident Evil Zero was the hardest RE game I've
played . The part where you had to light up the animal statues
with the lighter was an very hard puzzle for me. When Billy Coen
and Rebecca Chambers were to get separated it would make the
game harder sometimes especially if one of them is in danger and
they are far away from each other . I enjoyed the game a lot because
I played it with my Dad .

I think the hardest I played would had to be RE5 on professional. The last battle with Wesker is almost impossible! My friend and I had so much trouble with this. When Sheva is hanging on the rock and have to get up and Chris is suppose to protect her by shooting Wesker in the heart so he doesn't make her fall was super frustrating. He kept falling even if he was mashing the key to get up. It took hours until we finally manage to beat it when he got up from the rock. Lot's of hurt fingers and frustration were made on that day...

I agree with what SamB said. Granted out of the classic I struggled with code veronica, RE5 on hard on Co-op mode with my boyfriend made me want to throw the controller multiple times. I thought the hardest part was getting past that giant yetti like thing that threw rocks at you. Especially since said boyfriend has never played a shooter in his life...somehow we made it through >.> but I've ripped my hair out a few times over that game.

You wouldn't die of course if your partner stayed right next to you to heal/save you, co-op really helps there. But, single player? Your partner goes everywhere, and even gets herself killed most times, and there's nothing you can do. The mission where you fight Jill and Wesker? One thing I have to say to that.. ARRRRGH! One shot from Jill to you and you're dead. My brother kept track of how many times I died before I won. 32 tries. 

There IS one way to beat professional mode. Infinite weapons.
The only drawback to that when you can't fire on a boss (cough cough JILL!), you'll die. A lot.
