I am just hoping that Malkin and Crosby won't be rusty this season. But yeah, for the most part it seems that I haven't been hearing a lot on major planning for any of the teams... but then again I don't know what they are all doing for their summer training programs.

haha, I wish it was. I'm excited for the next season to start so I don't have to hear about baseball and football on the sports news as much anymore.


I don't imagine Crosby will be rusty.... Malkin maybe but I've always found he was a finicky sort of player anyway.

Well, here is a bit of news for us: the Winnipeg Jets unveiled their new logo today. Apparently reviews are somewhat mixed because they didn't use the old logo but I rather like what they've gone with and how it reflects the history with the Royal Canadian Air Force (I especially like the small logo with the wings) . What are your thoughts?

why would they use the old logo? Most teams have had at least 1 logo change and about 8 uniform styles since the Jets were part of the league.... they would have updated to something like this by now if they had stayed in Winnipeg.

That is the same reaction I had... but I guess some of the old school fans wanted it similar to the old style. Honestly, I think this looks much nicer than the old hockey-stick-for-the-J logo.

yeah, you'll never satisfy everyone.... but really, if they kept the old logo then they would be giving up a TON of t-shirt and jersey sales because people could just wear their old ones. Now if they want to have the current logo they need to buy new ones.
