I never bothered with Chrono Cross.

I think Chrono Trigger is great though from the little I have played. Pretty... interesting to say the least.

I loved Chrono Trigger so much that when Cross came out I was too disappointed that at least some of my favorite characters weren't returning I could barely play it.  I never finished it.  Maybe sometime I'll go back and do it, probably not.

Chrono Trigger is probably better since I never played Chrono Cross. Lol, but I would probably still say Trigger since I love its gameplay of it.

They are both great games, but I always preferred Chrono Trigger between the two. I highly recommend people check out Chrono Cross if they haven't played it. It's worth playing through at least once if you liked the story in the original
