catfight09 : I'm mixed on that. PS3 can do the same (graphic wise) as the 360.

I have both systems so my put on this. When it comes to ONLINE play, 360 is by far better than PS3. When I play street fighter, I don't feel any lag on the 360 side, but its just bad on PS3.

The only thing I like about PS3 is just the controller really. The dpad on the 360 is just a pain sometimes. Other then that, both systems are just great.

Honestly I can't decide between these two. I own both consoles I love them both. Each one has it own unique perks that make it good.

this next one is in my OWN opinion but I believe Xbox provides a more competitive scene compared to the Play station network.

These are just small differences between the consoles. Like I said both have their perks. Xbox Live may cost money but I would rather pay $60/year than play for free and have it be down for a few months and have earlier access to download content

I definitely prefer the Xbox 360, and to me it's not even a close contest.

Due to my satellite internet I can't play my games online, but the little bit of experience I've had with both systems online I prefer Xbox Live, I'd rather pay to play and have more reliable service and earlier downloadable content.

The big reason I prefer the Xbox 360 are the exclusive games, there are a lot more Xbox 360 exclusives I like than PS3 exclusives. That being said, the only PS3 exclusives I'm even really wanting to play (that I don't have for the PSP [ModNation Racers & Little Big Planet] are the new Twisted Metal, Heavy Rain, 3D Dot Game Heroes, and God of War 3).

Xbox 360 exclusives:
Crackdown series
Dead or Alive 4 (one of the best side scrolling fighter games ever made imo)
Fable 2 & 3
Forza Motorsport Series (no contest, better games than Gran Turismo)
Gears of War 1/2/3
Halo series (including 4 and the Anniversary Edition)
Left 4 Dead series

And I am sure there are more that I am forgetting, and I am not trying to start a flame war, but for me there isn't really much of an argument: I much prefer the Xbox 360 to the Playstation 3.

Super Nintendo or GBA, because of the Megaman games. That's my only reason why.

I think the PS3 is a better console in every way, but I like the 360's games better. I always play console games on PC though. 

 I pefer the ps3.At least the PSN and Online play is free.

I can give you a good answer. If it's possible I would recommend getting both consoles. If it's not possible, get the console that your friends have. if you don't have any gamer friends, Then here is the comparison.
Note: I own both consoles and I love both whole a lot. Please fan boys don't be raging on me.

Price: The PS3 is around $50 more expensive.

Internet: XBL is $60 a year while the ps3 is free. (Ignore anyone that says that XBL is better or less laggy than PSN, It's simply not true)

Internet Browser: Available on PS3. Not available on XB360

Exclusive games: They both have great exclusive games, you can't wrong with any. (I would prefer the PS3 ones, but that's just my opinion. Look up the exclusives for each console and you make your own choice with this one)

Controller: Goes straight for the ps3. It's more comfortable ( Xbox controller causes the middle fingers and the left thumb to hurt after playing for a long time.) Plus, XB controller require batteries to work; while the PS3 controller can be recharged by plugging in a USB cable.

Cross-game Voice chat: Amazing feature that is not available on the PS3, only available on the Xbox 360.

Hardware: PS3 has a higher graphics and a better processing unit; however, the ram is larger in the Xbox 360. In English, the PS3 is capable of playing heavier games with higher graphics than the Xbox; on the other hand, the Xbox has a faster start up, less loading time, and faster saving or auto-saving.


I think overall PS3 is a better system than the Xbox. But again you can't go wrong with any console they're both really great.

I honestly think the PS3 is better. I own an xBox 360, and had a neighbor with a PS3. The 360 is very annoying with having to pay to do just about anything online, and you don't even get an internet browser. And the xBox, at least the one I have, requires a $100 Wireless Adapter for wireless internet. PS3? Built in for Free. Although, it seems recently, the new 360's have built in Wireless, but much less memory. Like, one tenth the memory of mine. I'd much rather have a PS3. But, I got my xBox for free, so I can't complain (too much).

In my opinion a PS3 is better for two reasons.1.You can watch Blu-Ray DVDs on it.2.The games have better graphics.

I think play station 3 is better better quality better games play station network is free has an extremely good internet browser can put its screen on a playstation portable can use netflix watch tv play movies play blu ray listen to music watch youtube videos its just way better.

I got an Xbox 360, but gonna get a PS3 soon. Wanna play inFamous.
