Planet of the apes is awesome!!!! Not tim burtons one but the others are. And the movies never stated anything about apes being smarter then humans. Sure the apes themselves thought they were smarter till they came across Charton Helston who talked and came from a spaceship.

The trippy thing about planet of the apes is if you watch the whole series excluding tim burtons you will go in a full circle with the very last title. Battle for planet of the apes I think it was called appeared to be a sequel but in reality last time I watched it was like prequel and basically the end of that movie shows that history repeats itself. After all the revolution and fighting we end up in the same position as before.

I actually really liked River City Rumble, and you cant really blame the directing. It IS a independent project.
