Mine is probably Dark Gaia from Sonic Unleashed for the wii. The xbox 360/ps3 one was very easy but this one was a pain

On Extreme mode on Metal Gear Solid 2 the bosses are way to difficult including the 1st one Olga she'il quickly aim at you which loses almost all your life with one shot if she see you

The hardest boss for me was Chaos from dissidia Final Fantasy. Took me 8 months to beat him at his max level with my favorite character Squall. That is also the shortest time I defeated him. Took me 2 years to defeat him with Zidane in quick match and I'm not even faced him with all the characters in the game.

The hardest boss I've ever fought is definitely Alpha from Megaman 3 white. He had 2000 health and no matter what I did I just couldn't beat him. I actually had to get my older brother to beat him for me... I'm a failure lol

This probably doesn't count as a boss but Whitney from Gold, Silver, and Crystal.  She is the bane of my existence, took me a long time to beat her.

Smithy from Super Mario RPG.

Although I'm pretty sure I've had far worse bosses,but I can't remember.

Tabuu from super smash bros. brawl. It was the hardest boss to beat in all of my games. It took me an hour to kill him.

I have to say Cloud Of Darkness from Final Fantasy 3,the final boss.That boss was so annoying.I had fought her over 10 times and I didn't beat her,then I finally beat her on my 20th try

Sonic and the secret rings final and true final boss.
Erazor Djinn in the boss fight has a unforgivable pattern, and since I was dying so much and it is hard as nails, it took me 15-20 minutes with lots of crying, then I beat him, after that, I was told to find all 7 secret rings, did that, then I had to fight the true final boss (IS THIS A SPOILER?)
Alfa Ma Wa Layla, or whatever it's called, he was less hard, but his pattern is worse, and you move slow, how come you can have up to 999 rings? Anyways, his patterns are crazy, meaning that you only get 1 second to react to the slashes, in both fights, which there's no 2nd phase for Alfa Ma Wa Layla (again, is this a spoiler?) or whatever he's called.
After several tries and almost 10 minutes, I beat him.
And here's the sad part, in the ending cutscene where shauna comes back to life after the first wish.
Here's what happens:
*Shauna comes back to life*
Sonic then says: Alright, for my 2nd wish-
*Game stops working*
Me: *puts disc back in and notices the cutscene loops after putting it back in and couldn't skip it without the reset*

That's the only part that won't work, even when watching the clip, it does that same thing in the specials menu section movies.
As a kid, I could never EVER beat the Sand Oasis mission, "Don't break the jars!". Frustrating as your mind blowing spears at you.
I could never get past one of the jars, I was really happy when I finally beat it, took 2 years without playing, then I was really happy to continue on to chapter 3!
I beat the game with strategy guides from websites, not nintendo power.

Then, it had to come to Zelda II, The great palace at the end of the game (I'm only a pre-teen).
Got all the way there, then I end up getting killed and Gannon keeps getting resurrected (At the Game Over screen)
It's very upsetting, as in it took me almost a month of playing to actually get there, I tried so hard, and it wouldn't work at all, I could only make it there once. Anyways, I never wanna see Gannon (from Zelda 2 with creepy eyes and a bloody red screen) again, he scares me more than falling into a abyss.
I hated Zelda II since the first day I got to the great palace, thought I could beat it, but I was wrong, I had everything at the max level which is 9, and I still lost, at least you were able to continue inside the palace if you died, but that didn't help either, all that happens, you will die and die and die.

Then I moved to Mario 3, World 8-1st airship was insane, jumping over 12 tanks with no checkpoints, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?
I was lucky to beat it with 1 life, no powerups, but world 8-2nd airship is the furthest I've gotten.
To this very day, I can't even beat it.

Then Mario 2, World 6-1 using the fast warping to world 7 strategy, I can't even get to the first door without even getting killed, only 2 continues, then you're finished in defeat.

Lastly, Mario world, Tubular.
I took more than 30 attempts and after a hour, I did it, on GBA console!


Well, I also wanted to fit very hard levels that I've played, so please don't complain.

The onslaught of Metal Gear RAYs in Metal Gear Solid 2. Took me at least 20 tries..but eventually I got it. Those things were difficult. Like..difficult difficult. Great game though

I'd say it was (Final Boss) Dr. Wily on Mega man 5.

You should see him flying in circles around you everywhere! It's just hard to hit him while he is doing that, seriously!

But I manage to beat him with only one bar left of my health.

It was the best video game moment ever!

There are plenty of tough bosses in video games, but more specifically the ones that come to mind are ones from Megaman. Especially 7 final Wily. It's like impossible unless you got it memorized.

I would say the Alduin from the Elder Scrolls IV: Skyrim would have been one of the hardest..probably because I was trying to be him when i was level 12...yea but he was pretty hard to defeat..

Hardest boss I ever fought in a video game? So far is Harpuia in mega man zero. He is very flexible hard to get a perfect target to give him significant damage. It take 4 session I guessed before I was able to defeat him

Sonic 2 final boss. First Silver sonic then that Dr. Robotnik Mech with no ringsgot nerfed in Generations

The final colossus in shadow of the colossus have had me stumped for a while its not necessarily the hardest but it is rough for me. Also bongo in the legend of Zelda the ocarina of time.

The two clock golems on Dead souls were pretty tough until I got better gear from invading randomly.
