voting is just another way they stick it to ya. It is meant to make you believe that you have a "choice" in who will or will not be the next president.D you realize the we have had only 2 families in the last 12-16 years as president?? aside from tat. the other reason i dont vote is because if i have to only choose some poloticians that have made lieing and bribery their career, then i just as much sit back and let them ruin the country till the good ppl of the US can't/won't take it anymore. Thats what im waiting for.

I don't vote because the candidates are all useless. The people don't pick the candidates, the parties do. That is NOT democracy. Sure, we get to pick among a few candidates, but that is only a figment of real choice.

Get rid of the party system. Make politicians list their priorities and policies and vote on them based on that. Then voting on issues will be voted on based on how the people feel and not how a party line is drawn.

8. They listen to someone like George Soros
9. They fund reduclous projects (like, just to figure out the kitchen is the most dangerous part of the house)
10. They hold back technologies that can make a difference
11. They listen to lobbyists rather then common sense

First reason- I see no one that I trust running for office ever. Most end up using millions in ad campaigns to say that their opponent is a dumbass liar with ulterior motives (most likely true) when they themselves are showing no character by making such an ad.

Second reason- How much corporations and business play a part in politics. It's ridiculous and just further pisses me off.

Third reason- Your votes don't actually count when you vote for the president. The Electoral college is what chooses the president not you.

Fourth reason- I hate the party system. All it really does is split people and cause problems.

I will only vote if Hillary Clinton runs again. Not because she is a woman, but because when Bill was in office, she practically ran the country cuz he was too busy screwing around (I don't hold that against him, I'm just saying). And the Clinton Administration was a good time for America. So if she did so good from the background, imagine what she could do for the country if she were actually president. But unless Hillary runs I won't vote because I know people tell us that our vote counts, but it really doesn't. Bush's brother proved that cheating is very possible, so I won't even bother. Seriously, why are you even in this forum if you don't care enough to vote for legislature or people that have your agenda? Yes, there is a lot wrong with our system, but apathy won't change it.

And Chaosx... don't get me wrong, I like the Clintons... but Bill did his own work while he was in office, Hilary did not run anything except a failed attempt at reforming health care. If she runs in 2016 I will vote for her, but only if she is the best candidate... and honestly unless the democrats have an ace up their sleeve I don't think there is another top contender.
