Like Gurren Lagann? I loved it! The plot was awesome, the characters memorable, and animation and sound was spot on. Granted that it was pretty short (not even 30 episodes), but it is a show that must be seen from beginning to end.

I really liked Gurren Lagann. It definitely won't be for everyone, as it is one of the crazier animes. Exaggerated characters (even for an anime) and a ridiculous setting and premise. The thing I appreciated most about it was its growth. The transformation of the characters and setting from beginning to end is fantastically done, wonderfully paced, and the sense of "awesomeness" really gets ramped up the farther you get into it.

Gurren Lagann was definitely an awesome anime. Imo, I consider it an underrated anime not too many people will know about. What I really like about the series, is that the 1st few episodes starts off comedic as an eccentric bunch of misfits is trying put together a team. After that however, the anime begins to take a more serious approach later on. The mech battles go from wacky and over-the-top to pure epic and it separates itself from other mecha animes. That's the reason I liked it so much.
