Yeah, Kerry blew, I'm not gonna deny that. He was not my ideal candidate by any means. He was an awkward speaker and not good and fending off character attacks. However, stylistic deficiencies will never match up to Bush's policy deficiencies.

I was also pretty unsure about the way Kerry was unsure about so many things

well really he was unsure about some things but im pretty sure bush was too i mean just cause he seemed as if he was sure but it was really a play of words in my oppinion

This is one time we shouldn't be having tax breaks, And just because tax breaks are lower in one part doesn't mean the money for the war isn't coming out of your pocket in other places.

Even so, a leader has to at least seem sure in front of his people. And Kerry was bad at this...he was intimidated way too easily and that's a very bad quality for leaders. All leaders are unsure about things...that's the hard part about being a leader but there was definately a difference between Bush and Kerry on this matter. OMG I'm defending Bush...go figure...

I wish Ralph Nader or Badnarik had gotten elected.

No you dont. People say they do, but they really dont think about it. They would just f*** everything up sooooo bad.

Their plans for america far exceed ANYTHING neo consevatives and liberal nutjobs alike could come up with because both have their own political agenda. Ralph Nader in particular wants to limit the government's involvement in our day to day life.

Which means the ten commandments can be where it wants to be and gays can get married, Everyone wins.

I never looked at it exactly like that. I don't really know much about Nader but a friend of mine had to do a big paper for history class last year and had quite a few good things to say about him and his views/lifestyle.

I would be VERY happy with Ralph Nader as president. But he had no chance in hell of winning.

No kidding. It's the way America is. They look towards power rather than qualities in a leader. It's because so few people actually possess any of these qualities themselves or just don't care. It's sad, I can't help but think that way. I say this as a general statement but it doesn't mean it applies to absolutely everyone, just to clear that up before I have to later.

I didn't say I knew what the plans were. And I didn't say I would have voted for him. I think if I'd been old enough to vote I probably wouldn't have because I didn't see Kerry nor Bush fit for the duty and I didn't know much at all about the other candidates. That'll be different next election. I will be old enough to vote then so I'll look more into the people I don't know anything about.

I hope Hilary Clinton runs next year, that'd be awesome.

Hm...I'm looking through some of this thread, and it seems one person is defending his side with nothing. No sheild of facts. He tells people "I got the facts, you believe anything you hear on the streets, etc etc", when in reality, it's the other way around. Becuase, most of the people that are AGAINST Bush, use facts, while the opposing force does not. Just says what comes out of the Presidents mouth, and from the "news". You see, there's this thing called "Lying"? Ah, never mind.

And that whole Tax thing? All it did was make the wealthy wealthier, and poor poorer. W is all for the business. If you could see some of these towns...where half the town has lost their job (Saw some footage from this one guy, who was filming the horrible state his town was in)...lots of people have sure lost their jobs since W got in.

Although I think he's a bad President, I wouldn't mind keeping him around, though. Gotta love some of those hilarious/moronic qoutes of his.

Democracy is over rated...don't you agree? I'm interested in seeing how people respond to that. Probably say I'm stupid for saying democracy is bad right? Over rated does not mean bad... just means exactly what it says. So yeah, I think democracy is a bit over rated in this country.
